FIREWORKS(TWO STRINGS WOVEN TOGETHER AGAIN)
"Percy!!" My childhood bestie and sweetheart, Eva, ran towards me and engulfed me in a large warm hug.
"God calm down! The people are staring!" I hushed.
We first met when I was 10 and she was 9. She left me all alone to deal with family business at 15. I anticipated her comeback soon, but it didn't happen until today, 6 years later!
And trust me, somehow my heart still went out of control whenever I see her cheeky face.
"I've got so much to tell you!" She squealed and wrapped her around mine and dragged me along with her suitcases.
Several days went by and I didn't realize I missed her so much!
"Excuse me.." yet another boy approached her for her number.
Eva looked at me, knowing very well of my reaction, but still handed him a piece of paper.
"How many!?" I exclaimed.
"Are you jealous?" She raised her eyebrow.
I rolled my eyes at her questioning me back.
"He's kinda cute though.." Eva winked.
"### Let's go, or else we'll miss the fireworks" I picked myself up and off before she followed me.
The bright sparks of different shades filled the sky, and the noises filled our ears.
"Eva I like you!" I admitted amidst the exploding sounds.
"What!?" She shouted from her side.
I face palmed.As if I expected her to hear it.
The crackers stopped and she turned to me.
"Yeah-"
I crashed my lips onto hers and cupped her cheeks in the process.
Her eyes fluttered open, staring at me.
The final round of the fireworks went off, setting the atmosphere.
"The numbers were fake" Eva looked at me with a smug face.
"Oh" I looked away embarrassed.
"You're mine now!"
"Yep!"
