The ML and Heroine meet up

After Liam found out about the contents in the red velvet book, he helped Avery and Jeanette plan out how to get out of a horrible ending. Instead of talking about plans though, they all kept bonding over other things. Occasionally Damien would join in on the topics. Things led to another, and somehow the gap between them, was gone.

"Hey have you finished packing for the academy?" Liam popped into Avery's room. Liam has been talking to Avery more often than Avery thought. Instead of being a distant brother he used to be, they were like on a friends level.

"Yes. To be completely honest, I am pretty nervous," Avery talks as she zips up her luggage.

"Don't stress yourself too much. The work isn't that bad and I am sure you get many friends," Liam cheers Avery up and before they knew it, they were at the academy.

"AVERYYY WE ARE ROOMATES!" Jeanette screams in joy and she hugs Avery tightly. Jeanette has always been a clingy person to Avery, so Avery was used to the tight hugs.

"YAY!" Avery copies Jeanette's tone and screams in joy too. People were staring at them and whispering but Jeanette and Avery didn't care if they looked insane.

After they finished unpacking all their belongings, someone knocks on their door. Jeanette opens the door and they both see Damien.

"Sorry to disturb you both, but can I please speak to Avery privately," Damien asks in an apologetic tone. Jeanette eyes me as Avery start to walk outside with Damien. Both Jeanette and Avery knew something was off because this was never mentioned in the red velvet book.

"The book had every single detail but why didn't it have this detail?" Avery thought. Soon enough, everything was a false alarm because Damien just wanted to teach Avery some fighting techniques in case if Damien wasn't around. Sure enough, Damien and Avery got closer.

"Oh my goodness, Prince Matthew is coming to school starting today!" A group of girls shrieked in joy as they pass the field that Damien and Avery were. With these girls screams, both Damien and Avery scoff.

"What is so cool about the prince?" Avery practices her defense punches in the air, as instructed by Damien.

Damien responded, "Isn't it every girls dream to become a fairytale princess? If I remember correctly, you shouldn't be saying that because when you were younger I remember you pretended one of your dolls were a prince and went crazy." He laughs.

Soon enough, classes were ending for the day and Jeanette and Avery ended up at the library. Unlike their local library, this library was huge. There was a study room and huge staircase that went up to the second floor of the library.

"I haven't met Holly yet. Have you?" Jeanette sighs in deep thought when Avery said no.

"Well according to the book, she appears when the Prince is in the academy's garden." Avery questions as she grabs a random romance novel from the shelf.

"WAIT ISN'T THAT TODAY?" Jeanette whispered loudly enough for other people not to hear.

"Oh my goodness. I want to see that event when both lovers meet!" Jeanette says in joy as she keeps rambling on.

"Then lets go see them meet up like they do in romance novels. I'm kind of curious if it was love at first sight now to think about it," Avery whispers in excitement.
