Stopping wasn’t an option for him, something he’d soon learn it would’ve been easier if that was the case.
“Whatever,” he said to himself as he shook his head trying to make the lingering headache disappear, slowly it seemed as if it was helping “Let’s eat.”
Yoongi looked at himself in a small mirror in the corner of the room and fixed his hair, grabbed his jacket and headed out the door with his phone already dialling up Seokjin's number.
“Hey there stranger!” the one on the other side of the phone greeted.
“Come on, we just had dinner yesterday...” Yoongi argued as he stepped out his door and dialled his code in order to lock the door to his room. He seemed to have difficulties with it these days, it was about time he got a new security system for his office but he had never got to it and so every day it seemed to be a struggle to lock the door and to unlock it as well!
“Yeah but after an hour you left me alone with the love birds, that’s kind of unfair don’t you think?”
“I had to work...”
“Yoongi... You know what, let’s drop it... fighting over this won't do any good.” It’s true, most of their fights were about how little to no time Yoongi gave up to not work. It’s all he did and what all his friends saw him do. It worried them but every time something was mentioned around the topic, Yoongi got mad and it always escalated into something that, so far, had never had a real resolution. At that point, Seokjin, along his other friends, had tried fighting this and along the way had just accepted to enjoy the times they had with him whenever they could do so.
“Agreed.” the producer muttered as he kept trying to dial the code of his door lock.
“Anyways, what’s up?” Seokjin asked with a more relaxed voice, as if the tension, that had just been there, vanished.
“Want to go grab a coffee? I ended up staying the night and I need to eat something before my meeting.”
“Yeah, sure, want me to pick you up?” It seemed as if, by his voice and background noise, Seokjin was already getting ready to leave his house. “I only have to get to set later tonight so I’m free.”
“Yeah let me just close my door... You know how long that normally takes...”
“Yoongi, how many times do I have to tell you-”
“I know! I just don’t have time.” Yoongi managed to close the door properly while whining “See, I’m done.”
“Why do I even keep pestering you... I’m not your mom, why isn’t your mom...”
Silence.
“Fuck, sorry.” Seokjin rushed to say as soon as he realized what he had just said.
“I’m waiting for you at the entrance, hurry up.”
“Okay, okay I’m already on the car, keep me company~” Seokjin was pouting, Yoongi could tell and it made him let out a laugh.
He kept walking down the hall talking to Seokjin who had now put him on speaker while he drove down to Yoongi’s office building. As they goofed off, Yoongi felt himself ease at the small tension created before when his mother was mentioned. He really needed to talk to her... yet he just couldn’t. Why did it need to be hard, this familly stuff... he didn't get it but it was hard and he couldn’t go around it without it feeling becoming harder to resolve as time went on.
As he zoned out, despite being in a full conversation with his friend while on the phone, he felt a body go against his, knocking his phone and his jacket out of his hands. A small groan left Yoongi’s mouth as well as the person who tackled him down
What the ****, he thought but he didn't say it.

Jimin, who was not so relaxed about the hours he woke up to, was now screaming at anybody who could hear him. Sooner or later someone would be banging on the door for him to shut the hell up.
“What do you mean you wanted to let me sleep?! Namjoon Hyung must be tired of waiting for me. Oh my God this is so unprofessional, Hobi Hyung why didn’t you wake me up, I-”
“Calm down, Jimin. I called Namjoon and told him you stayed up training and that you’d probably show up later than what was agreed on, Namjoon said it was ok, just give him a call as soon as you’re on your way and he’ll get everything ready as if nothing happened.” Hoseok assured the youngest as he sipped from his coffee.
“Still, I’m almost 3 hours late, he’ll never trust me to participate in his tracks again.” Jimin tried to fight back “Besides, he has meetings today, I can’t just take over his schedule like that.”
“It’s a Saturday and he told me himself besides the meeting after lunch he doesn’t have shit to do after, you’re fine! He’s your friend and knows how hardworking you are. Now stop fussing and go! All you’re doing is making yourself even more late. You can take the car; I’ll call a cab to the studio and you'll come back later to pick me up. Deal? Deal!”
Jimin huffed and nodded as he grabbed his things, not daring to argue any longer.
“I’m going now, then.”
“Be safe, don’t wreck my car! I’ll meet you at the studio later, don't forget!”
Jimin nodded rushing to gather all his belongings before reaching for the door.
“Hey!” Hoseok stopped him right as he was about to leave “Just take a deep breath, it’ll be fine, Namjoon won't mind. You got this.”
