Next morning.

Anastasia's car was on the way to Romano's Corporation. James was driving and a man in black suit was seated beside him in the passenger seat for Anastasia's safety.

Alora was seated beside her and was reviewing the files of the deal. Anastasia was lost in her thoughts and looking outside the window.

Her mind was surrounded by multiple questions about Silas. His words were disturbing her. She took a deep breath and tried to push all the thoughts aside but somehow she again ended up thinking about him.

Soon, they arrived at the office building and James opened the door for her. Anastasia got out of the car and looked up at the building of Romano's Corporation.

Alora also got out and looked at Anastasia then she followed her gaze and looked at the building. Anastasia narrowed her eyes and then they all walked inside the building.

Alora stopped at the reception and informed the receptionist about the appointment of their meeting. Receptionist told them to go to the meeting room and they all made their way to the elevator.

10 minutes passed already but no one came to meet them. Anastasia was getting irritated because of Silas's irresponsibility but she calmed herself down. She can't take any risk.

She got up from her chair and walked to the huge window of the room which was exactly the same as Silas's cabin.

She noticed that the building was quite tall and everything from here can be seen tiny. She looked around to reduce her frustration while on the other hand, Alora slammed the files on the table.

Alora Meldey ★FL's assistant

What are we? Is this a joke? How long do we have to wait?

Alora's patience was at its peak. She was really getting irritated. James sighed and shook his head.

Anastasia Smith ★FL

Until he finally arrived here with his partner.

Anastasia lowered her voice and Alora shot her eyes on her back. Anastasia didn't move an inch.

Anastasia slightly turned her head to the right side and after a pause she again looked out from the huge glass window.

What about the other meetings?

Alora asked her while raising her eyebrows. Anastasia didn't say a word and then she turned around.

Anastasia Smith ★FL

Cancel them. For now this man is important.

Anastasia said with an expressionless face and Alora didn't say a word. James looked away because he didn't like what Anastasia said just now.

How long will you make them wait like that? Don't you think it's too much?

Cameron asked him but Silas's eyes were fixed on the laptop screen. He didn't respond. His fingers move very fast on the keys of the keyboard. He was also looking at the live CCTV footage of the meeting room.

Silas… don't forget who they're.

Cameron put his hands on the desk and leaned forward. Silas looked up and saw him leaning forward.

Silas Romano ★ML

I know… but… right now they need me. They can't go against me.

He said while looking in Cameron's eyes but then again went back to his work. Cameron sighed and moved back.

Okay… if you want that… I'm going to attend them because I'm also the CEO of this company and I can't let this opportunity go to get close to them.

Silas Romano ★ML

Why? What's the deal between you two?

Cameron was about to leave but Silas's words stopped him. He didn't move an inch or respond to him. Silas looked at him and noticed Cameron's face pale.

Some old matters I've to finish with and also want some answers to my questions.

When Cameron said those words, there was no emotion in his voice. It was empty. A silence took place between them and then Cameron turned his head to Silas who was just staring at him without blinking his eyes.
