Anastasia was just staring at those blue icy eyes and forgot everything around her until a familiar deep voice got her attention.

James, her bodyguard and also her friend walked close to her and grabbed her arm to check on her that is she okay or not?

James Knight ★FL's bodyguard

Nasia… is everything alright?

She looked at James with confused expression and then slowly nodded. She still can feel his eyes… His blue icy eyes on her figure.

She slowly turned her head in his direction and found him staring at her. Her heart skipped another beat and then she looked away.

Alora Meldey ★FL's assistant

What happened?

Alora asked her because she wasn't looking normal. Her breath was heavy which was clearly to be seen but she wasn't the only one who was feeling like that.

He was also feeling that but looked away to control himself and within a second, his eyes again turned cold as ice and face was expressionless.

He always does it, he doesn't show his true feelings to anyone. He hides them well behind his coldness but by just one sight of her he just lost… He lost his control over himself.

It was new and surprising for him but as usual he ignored it. On the other hand, the host of the event thanked all the members for their donation and this much support.

Everyone clapped and then a couple arrived on the dance floor and started dancing. Slowly music was playing in the background.

Silas wasn't looking interested but Cameron didn't let this chance go and started dancing with some random lady.

Anastasia was confused about how she'll make him do investment in their company because the company's situation wasn't going well and they needed an investor for their company.

Silas was staring at Cameron and then a thought flicked in his head. He looked around and his eyes rested on a figure. He put his whiskey glass on the table and walked close to her.

Silas Romano ★ML

May I?

He asked her in his deep voice and forward his hand.

Ariel Smith ★FL's sister

Um.. okay.

Ariel was nervous but she agreed and put her small fragile hand on his big one. Both walked to the dance floor and then Silas pulled her close, grabbing her waist gently.

He put her small fragile hand on his shoulder and held the other one carefully then he started dancing slowly with her. Ariel was stunned by his actions. She couldn't help but only blushed a little.

Anastasia was watching this whole scene and a little confused. She pulled Alora close and then whispered.

I want his business card. Go and get it with an appointment.

Alora gave a confused look at Anastasia and she shot her right eyebrow up. Alora rolled her eyes and walked away.

James Knight ★FL's bodyguard

Don't you think it'll be awkward?

James whispered in her ear from behind and she looked at him.

Anastasia Smith ★FL

I don't know.

She responded and looked at Silas who was busy dancing with Ariel. Alora approached him and patted his shoulder. Silas turned his head to her and gave her a questionable look.

Alora Meldey ★FL's assistant

May I have a minute please if you mind?

Alora asked Ariel professionally and she understood that she has some deals with him. Ariel nodded and walked away. Before Silas could say something Alora immediately grabbed his hand.

Cameron noticed it and slowly got close to him while dancing. Silas didn't say a word and continued dancing with Alora.

I'm Alora Meldey, assistant of Smith's enterprises CEO and I –

Silas Romano ★ML

Then tell your CEO that I don't talk to their assistant.

Silas interrupted in between and Alora shut her mouth. She only stared into his blue icy eyes because they were cold as ice. After a pause she finally spoke.

Alora Meldey ★FL's assistant

At least I can get your business card.

Alora asked him professionally and he shot his right eyebrow up then broke the silence.

Silas Romano ★ML

We can take this journey to the meeting too.

He responded and Alora smiled professionally. From far Anastasia was watching them and trying to figure out whether Alora got success or not. Suddenly from nowhere, Jason approached and asked her for a dance.

Anastasia Smith ★FL

Um…

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: I think it'll help us to build some connections?

Anastasia looked at him from head to toe and gave her hand in his. They also walked to the dance floor and Jason pulled her close. Anastasia didn't like it but seeing Alora close to her she ignored this thing.

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: So… I heard that you're taking a break from singing… can I know the reason?

Jason asked her with a smile but she just looked at him and then stopped herself from saying anything nonsense or doing anything wrong.

Anastasia Smith ★FL

No.

She responded with a smile. Jason's heart was broken again by Anastasia and he smiled back.

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: So… what's your plan after it?

Anastasia Smith ★FL

Nothing. I'll live my life.

She responded and still a smile was on her face.

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: What about your boyfriend?

Anastasia narrowed her eyes and didn't say a word. Suddenly the music in the background changed and it's time to change partners.

Jason wasn't in the mood but still he twirled her and she landed on a hard chest.

Ouch.

She looked up while caressing her forehead and there her honey coloured eyes met with his eyes. Those blue icy eyes.

Silas Romano ★ML

Is this the part where we become friends?

His deep dark voice broke the silence and Anastasia snapped out. She looked at him in confusion and then she moved closer, whispered in his ear while being tiptoed.

Anastasia Smith ★FL

I think we should fall in love and start dating.

He slightly smiled and then pulled her close, tangling his fingers with her. He whispered in her ear.

Silas Romano ★ML

Why don't we get married and have kids?

Anastasia's moving tongue suddenly stopped. She moved back and looked straight in his blue icy eyes. They were sparkling and she was only staring straight into them.

Well played. You sent your assistant to get an appointment for the meeting?

Anastasia Smith ★FL

Huh?!

Silas didn't respond this time. Suddenly his eyes met Cameron who was already looking at him.

You can come to the office at 10. But I'm more interested in your sister.

He stepped back and then walked away, leaving her behind on the dance floor. Anastasia was watching him going away and she felt a little strange. His last words triggered her the most.
