On the day of the charity gala, everyone was gathered there in a big hall of some organization. Smith's family was also there except for one person. Victor Smith and Jules Smith were doing a meet and greet with some guests who were approaching them.

Ariel was just smiling and responding to them. Everything was going well until a member of the organization Mr. John with his son Jason who were also the partners in business, approached them.

𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣: Glad you came.

Mr. John said with a smile and Victor smiled back. Jason looked around to search for someone but then he noticed that Ariel was looking at him.

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: Um.. hello Ms. Ariel.."

Jason greeted her and she just smiled.

𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣: Where is Anastasia? Will she not come?

Mr. John asked Victor who looked at his wife and daughter one by one.

Victor Smith ★FL's Dad

She'll land here tonight so –

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: Yes I also saw in her interview that she's taking a break from her singing career. Why is that? I mean…

Jason interrupted in between and Mr. Smith wasn't able to complete his sentence. He didn't respond and looked at his wife Jules who was smiling awkwardly.

In all this mess, a pair of blue icy eyes were fixed on them. He was just staring at Victor. Rage and hate was clear in his blue icy eyes. That horrible night was playing in front of his eyes and he was trying hard not to shoot him on the spot.

His grip around the glass of whiskey tightened and it was looking like he'd break it. Before he could lose his control over himself. He felt a hand on his shoulder and his muscles lost a bit which was tightened before.

Cameron calmed him down and Silas nodded while taking a deep breath. Both looked at Smiths then Cameron whispered.

You've to deal with this matter with a calm mind. Rage only brought destruction to you.

Silas neither responded nor gave any reaction, he was only staring at Victor. On the other hand, Victor was looking for a reason to cover this matter but Jules spoke.

Jules Smith ★FL's Mom

Uh.. she was feeling tired for a while.... that's why she decided to take a break.

Jules covered up this mess with a perfect lie but Mr. John wasn't looking to buy it.

𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣: Well… Victor… I was thinking that… we're very good partners in business… how about taking this relation to the next level?

Mr. John asked Victor in a friendly way and Victor slightly chuckled, agreeing with him.

Why not? Ariel will be best companion for Jason.

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: But… we were talking about Anastasia…

Jason again interrupted and everyone went silent. Victor opened his mouth to say something but words didn't come out.

Jules Smith ★FL's Mom

Um.. She –

"𝑫𝒂𝒅. 𝑴𝒐𝒎."

Jules was about to complete her sentence but a familiar voice got their attention. They turned around and saw Anastasia and Alora beside her. Both were wearing black dresses and looking like an icon.

Dad. Mom.

Anastasia hugged her Dad and then her mom. Both were looking surprised to see her here.

What? Aren't you all happy to see me? I know I told you all that I'll land tonight but isn't it good that I landed here early?"

Both Jules and Victor just smiled. Anastasia hugged her sister Ariel who was 8 years older than her.

Anastasia asked her teasingly. Ariel slightly smacks her head and Anastasia caresses her head.

Always been a naughty girl.

Ariel said with a smile and Anastasia felt proud. Alora also greeted Smiths and stood beside Anastasia. Alora was Anastasia's bestie and her assistant in business.

Anastasia was the youngest daughter in Smith's family and also involved in her Dad's business. Ariel doesn't like to meet new people while Anastasia was a social butterfly.

She was a singer and a CEO of Smith's business. Her Dad Victor was a business tycoon and Anastasia will be the next owner of this company.

Mr. John and his son Jason were looking at Smiths and their meetup. Suddenly Jason approached Anastasia and took her hand in his. He placed a gentle kiss on her knuckles and then introduced himself.

𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣: I'm Jason John. You remembered me, right?

Jason asked her with a smile and Anastasia took her hand back looking confused at him.

Sorry but… I don't.

She broke his heart in a second and Ariel smiled. Before Anastasia could say anything, Alora pulled her aside.

Anastasia asked and Alora looked around.

We want an investor for the company? I think I found him.

Alora interrupted and shut Anastasia up. She frowned at first then remembered about it. Then Anastasia asked her where he was?

On your right. The blue eyes one.

Alora guided her and Anastasia followed her lead then she saw those blue icy eyes. He was already looking at her. Anastasia's honey coloured eyes were fixed on those blue icy eyes.

He's Silas Romano, a business tycoon, he's new in this scene and a perfect target to catch.

Alora gave a small introduction of Silas but Anastasia didn't listen. She was just staring straight into the blue icy eyes of him. There was something in his eyes and they were sparkling for some reason.

He was also just staring at her honey coloured eyes and forgot to blink for a second. His grip on the glass of whiskey got loosened a little. He didn't see those eyes before.

Where Anastasia's heart skipped a beat, Silas felt himself lost somewhere in another world.

Seeing her in person for the first time made him feel his existence disappear like a smoke in the air somewhere. Everything became blurry and silent. Only those honey coloured eyes he can see.
