Episode 5: Confused

What the hell is he thinking? I don't know his motives but how nice it is to have someone to help me when I'm in need.

I know being able to help someone will make your heart skip a beat. But knowing that he was just being nice to me for I was one of the owner of this food chain makes me feel like a beggar. I don't want to degrade myself but thats what I really feel.

"I don't understand your intention, Dark."

He talked to himself. He went to do the dishes as part of his job.

"Light, what did you two talk about?"

Mario asked.

"Nothing!"

I know that they will feel very restless with me but what can I do? I don't know how to trust people for what had happen to me!

I just went on my way to do my duty. After doing so, I was ready to go but I crossed path with Dark unfortunately! As much as possible I dont want anything from.

"Light, what the hell us your problem?"

I avoided his gaze. But yeah! What the hell is my problem? Why am I so irritated when I cross path with him.

"Nothing!"

"I dont believe you! Seems like you have been hiding something."

"Its none of your business and I dont know, its just that I dont want your pity. You may think I am stuborn but I hate when you look at me like that! So stop pestering me. If yoj want to help me, then leave me alone."

Light went home early that day.

"Gosh, such a waste for the overtime work load! Anyway, lets just go on with life."

He started to collect his earnings to rent a much better place and to treat himself with a sumptuous dinner in his family's grave.

Its his mom's birthday and he wanted to celebrate it with them. Though it breaks his heart knowing that he was the only one who survive the massacre.

"Mom? Dont you blame me for being here and not fullfilling your final request?"

*The day of the massacre*

"You need to hide son with you siblings. I will try to call your older sister. She is still in here classmate's house. Stay still and dont come out you three, okay?"

The children gestured okay to her. Light was trying to keep himself down and his siblings too.

"Guys keep quite or we all be in trouble."

"Why? Mommy told us to hide but why didnt she look for us? I wanna go outside and look for mommy."

Mary whine. I try to calm her down but it was unexpected that she and Josh ran awag from me and towards the door. I saw with my own eyes that they were shot using a silencer gun. The gun click echoed accross theroom and I fainted because of fear.

I woke up in a strange house owned by my uncle and aunt. They say that I have trumatic experience of life and death. They were the once who made me believe that there is something wrong with my brains.

Back to reality, Light asks for forgiveness to his family. Celebrated the said birthday and cried a pale of tears before going home.
