Episode 1: Light Mendez

In a world full of bias, I am just that person in the corner who always watches people pass by.

My name is Light Mendez, a college student who has a world of my own. I am a graduating HRM student in a prestigious university. 20 years old and still timid. Wanna know why?

" Hi, Light! Are you going to the faculty now?"

"Ahh...ahhh....hhmm... No!!..Bye"

Well thats why. Everytime other people ask me things that needs a simple answer I always lose it. I don't know the real reason of this. Maybe because I witnessed my family's demise.

4 years ago, when I graduated highschool I was a careless person. I don't really have to think about problems such as money. I am very popular in our village at that time, they adored how much my parents can afford having a big house, 3 cars and numerous food chains.

But it all went downhill when someone attacked our home and those bastard killed my family. For some reasons I survived in that massacre, then was sent into a phsychiatric clinic. I was adopted by my uncle and aunt after. All the days I spent with them was a total hell. I have tried my best to get out from them and I manage to break free. I learned how to take care of myself. I have a part time job at a restaurant as a dishwasher. Somehow I made money to support my needs and my tuition fee was covered by the school for I am a scholar student. It is said that I have an inheretance that I can have after I turned 18. But my so called foster parents spread rumours that I am not capable of inheriting my parents treasure because of my mental health. People believed in them. I told myself not to get those treasure anymore for I want a peaceful life.

Even though I have a job, I am still the timid type of person.

I went to the faculty room and gave the teacher what she needed and since it is afternoon already, I will go to the restaurant for my shift.

" Light here are few dishes that needs to be done. Make sure to put this things first, okay?"

I just nod. Went on my duty to wash dishes.

" When your done, please go to the manager's office. The manager wants to talk to you."

Why would he talk to me? Well I don't have the slightest idea why he wants to talk to me.

Hayss... What can I do I am just a worker here in the restaurant.

Dark Gomez is my manager and actually the owner of this restaurant. Lighting ( restuarant's name ) used to be ours but because of the funeral expenses for five people is too much. Did I mention that we are six in the family? Oh! Used to be six in tge family. My mom, dad, Jin my older sister and Josh and Mary the twins.

How I wish the are in a good situation.
