Episode 3 First meeting

“Let him in!”

Light opened the door and there he saw Dark sitting on his swivel chair. He looked down for he knew that he was just a lowly worker under this man’s roof.

“Your Light Gomez, the only survivor of the Gomez massacre few years back, right?”

Light’s eyes widen and darkened. Why did he mention my family? What does he want from me? Why did he called me here?

He was angry but he can’t show his feelings for he is just dust in his table.

He nodded slightly.

“I want to thank you and your family for this restaurant.”

Is this a compliment or sarcasm? I hate this feeling of being angry. I didn’t have this emotions long for a long time.

"Why are you thanking me? I am no longer the owner of this place."

Dark felt that it was too much for him to say those words.

"I'm sorry! What I mean is that, I thank you and your family for having this restaurant for it is a huge part of my childhood. And I assumed that you don't remember me?"

Light was in shock. What does this man know about me and my family? And why does he ask me if I remember him? Did we met somewhere before?

Dark saw how surprise Light was.

"I was right! Well, we met a long time ago. I was just new to the city since my father have somethings to do with my mom, I was left with my nanny here in this very restaurant. I saw you were playing with other children which I pressumed that they were your siblings for you three have the same eyes and face shape."

It flashes in Light's mind what happened five years ago....

"Josh and Mary lets go play in that area."

I pointed out the area where there are only four people dining. We are here in the Lightning restaurant.

"Brother Light, I can't run anymore. I am tired."

"No worries Mary I can carry you."

Upon reaching the corner where I pointed a while ago, I noticed a boy sitting with a middle aged woman. He looks so handsome and he smiled at me and my siblings.

"Can I join you?"

He ask me while lowering down his head. I know that he is shy.

"Of course, we don'g mind having extra friend to play right?"

I turned into my siblings and they just laugh and agree to olay with this stranger.

"By the way my name is Light, this is Josh and that's Mary over there sitting by the window."

"Cool! My name is Dark a very contrast to your name."

"Wow! Never thought I made a friend with the exact opposite with my name. Well, lets have some fun Dark."

We played till we catched our breaths.

"You know what, I have never been this happy before. I was an only child and we live in the province, in an hacienda actually. When you have time you can visit me there and we can ride the horses and chase after tge chickens hahhahahahah!!"

Back to the present....

"What your that boy here when I played with my siblings?"

"Yes, so you remember me!"

Happiness was vivid in Dark's eyes.
