Episode 2: Dark Gomez

Being in a high class society, I wasn't able to enjoy life. My parents prepared me to be the perfect Bachelor who was admired by many. Little did they know that there is something I hide.

Most of us have something to hide. It is not a surprise to us when it comes to secrecy.

Time comes when I just want to be an ordinary person. Just like the old times. When I was just a innocent teen, we live in a farm with lots of animals such as cows, horses, and etc. We lived a healthy life. I was carefree just like other normal child. I rode the horses around the hacienda. I ran after the chickens in the barn. I milked the cows, sterilized it and drink it. All those childhood memories was priceless.

My father used to go to the city and buy feeds for the animals. I tag along and always went to my favorite resturant, Lightning. They have the most delicious food that I always order. They have burgers, tacos, pancake, suops and etc. They have mixed cusines in their menu. Everything is perfect until....

Suddenly my mom got ill and kost of our assests were sold to a very wealthy man in the city. Even though I saw how difficult it was for my father to sell the farm yet we don't have any choice but to do that to save my mom.

2 years have pass and my mom survived from a terminal disease. My father did everything to revived our assets. Several years later he manages to get the farm back with tons of money to make our own business. We started to invest in a hotel chain and gained a lot from there.

I heared that the family of Gomez was attacked and massacred, I was devastated because tgat restaurant was one of my most beloved resturants in the country. By all means I got the restaurant and won the bid for 100 million dollars. I renovated the resturant and added a little Dark accessories in it to look like a vintage restaurant.

When I scroll dow the employee profile I saw a familiar face. He was Light Mendez, he was the only one who survived the massacre few years back.

How amazingly small the world is, to think that the son of the owner of my favorite restaurant is now under my roof. I want to meet him and thank him for his family's business which became very dominant in my childhood memoeries.

" Mr. Gomez, Light is still in the kitchen. I already gave him the instructions. Is there anything else I can help you, Sir?"

"No, Jane! Thank you for your service. Go back to your post and wait for me for we need to go to the main office to discuss what's needs to discuss."

Jane went on her way to her post. After a while, she called me through the intercom and notified me tgat Light is on the door.

"Let him in!"
