Darkness first attempts at reins

Hellious was her friend, and he was there during the entire battle

and he would encourage her. Over time he would tell her about his

family and how he was going to school for electronic arts. She would

listen to him about his family and his friends and they would share

laughs and he would occasionally spoil her and take her out from

across the phone. They would have dinner dates and the kids would be

there and they would all talk. He was so kind and she felt like he

was handsome. So they would always give each other advice and listen

to their problems, “Lydia I love you, why don’t you come to me

and I’ll take care of you. My family promised me the home next door

and we can move in there.” she would think about it for months and

he would even send her a ring. She would get messages all day

long, From the time they met it was about a year and it would pass

fast for her, but she longed to be with him more. It would seem she

would tell her mother about him but not too much because she was still

going out with other friends on occasion but so was Hellious. She

knew that she wasn’t going out the same or even as close to the

other friends she had. She could even tell him things about going out

with Ra’ymon and even the upperclassmen, and the man who took her

at eleven to his castle. It was years she kept it in but it would

still make her cry and feel emotional. Hellious would tell her about

how when he was younger that in his mother's home, he used to see

demons and how he got them to go away by screaming at them. Lydia

would ask if he was still able to see them and all sorts of questions

to find out about how he was and everything. Lydia could only see the

sweet and she adored him he was something that made it easier for

her. It was Winter Festival and he would send her a gaming system to

allow her to play games since it was the last thing she was allowed

to do anymore since she was a working single mother. She was

delighted and he would get his package from her and He would read a

card that she did funny clues to what she gave him. It was a care

package for his gaming and after studying and she even got him a

special cup. “Hellious, I love you I want to move with you but

things are complicated it would take a while.” she would explain

how her family wouldn't want her to leave despite how they were

keeping her on a straight path that would allow her to take care of

her and her children. Time would pass and she would begin to make small

moves to actually go down there. She was working hard and saving and

had enough for a place of her own over time. It was close to Lovers

day and it was only a few days prior. It was an odd day and she was

already feeling tired and was resting right before he would normally

call he called. “Hello, what are you doing what's going on

Hellious?” she would say in delight almost as if singing just to

hear his voice. “Lydia…..I don’t know if I am ready...I want to

break up.” it caught her by surprise and she was devastated and it

broke her heart into a million pieces. “What do you mean Hellious?

What are you talking about?” her face was red and it grew in heat.

She could feel the tears welling from her eyes as his voice cracked.

“I don’t know If I can take care of you and all the kids. I don’t

know If I want that..” It was like her heart shattered and fell to

the floor with tremendous weight. It was worse than anything she had

felt prior. “Hellious after all this time?” something in her was

angry and hurt it was like a quelling voice that wanted revenge at

the moment. “I can’t believe you are doing this to me and to us..”

it was a quiet moment and he would listen to her tears for a moment

and the line would fall quiet she would wake the next day and have to

clean her eyes and get to work with dark bags under her eyes. Some

of her co-workers could see “Oh Gosh Lydia...I ain't never seen

anything but a huge annoying smile on your face.” Lydia would laugh

and scratch her head “I need some coffee, can I steal some of

your’s I don’t plan on giving it back.” she and her Friend

Amandrea would nod, Andrea would have brown hair and smaller, lighter

for her for sure. In her peppy tone as they were turning into a room.

‘Oh yeah Girl, I got you.” They were in the kitchen area and

Trevis from the kitchen came in and he would have a thing for Lydia.

“Oh no Lydia why do you look like that?’ she would laugh and she

would drink the coffee Amanrea would hand her. “Oh, you don’t want

to really know.” He would cross his hands “Oh you aren’t

telling me you and that online guy finally stopped talking?” he

would seem as if he was hitting the nail on the head and immediately

hugged her. They were all there and she was smiling but she was still

turning wheels in her head. “Hey Trevis, Since Im recently single

and lovers day is around what do you say you take me out?” she

would flick her hair and smile at him despite the tears. “Oh

anything if that meant I could watch you laugh and smile like you do

all day at work. Amadrea would knitch her shoulder light and with a

tone that would tell it all “oooooh, girl, you know that was

smooth, you better go out. Don’t make me say it.” She would

flush red and it was a while since she actually help someone closely.

“Okay, but you know that I don’t know how I really feel about

dating right?” she would ask him but he would just laugh and smile

“And that would be my job to change that.” he would snicker and

she would post on her pages “” Single for valentines day send ya

girl flowers my admirers.” Sure enough, it was lovers' day and she

received Three bouquets of roses chocolate, and teddy bears. There were

even two I love you balloons. It all was delivered to her work.

Trevis was the first to approach “Oh I see I have competition, that

is truly not fair. “ She would be charting and she would snicker at

him “Well that just means you will have to work twice as hard. “

with the flutter of her shoulders as she would stick her tongue out

at him. Snickering in tone knowing how he might take her tone. “Oh

, please Lydia you don’t know I know how to handle a little one like

you, What are you like 5’2” he would pat her head and she would

open her mouth grow red, and stuttered before clearing her tone into

a spell. “Oh well, don't you say that now, I have taken down full well

without lifting a finger. So what do you want to bow down before a

queen or what.” tapping at his chin he would laugh “Lydia I have

to go back to work you’re going to get me in trouble. She would

laugh and continue to work on her pad. “See you are in my area

right now don’t think you can take that tone with me, sir. After all,

I am still doing my job.” she would point down the hall to show she

didn't have any call lights.”See I am all clear, did you finish

delivering your food yet?” she would tease knowing he had a full

cart. “Oh, you hush Lydia you ain't doing nothing you can help.”

she would smile “Does that mean you’ll take me out earlier if I

Help.” He would laugh “Oh yeah It is lovers' day and I said I

would take you out before you went home and had to be a responsible

woman again.” She would clap her hands “So what will it be,

would you like my help? Tell me you’ll concede to my demands.” he

would smile and nod “Fine please Lydia help me, So I can take you

out and make you see how you’ll really be mine.” she would clap

her hands blush and laugh loudly as they would work together to pass

out the food continuing and working till the end of the day. She

would wait in her can and she would smoke a little bit, trevis came

to her car. So where you wanna go?” she would think, Let's go get

burgers I am a little fat girl at heart.” she would laugh and he

would smile “That means I get to watch you have something other

than coffee and what I sneak you to eat so that is great.” she

would flush red “you know it’s just because I got to watch my

weight.”
