Chapter 2: First day with Ren-chan

"Okay. So Aracchi, what about the sandwich in your hand..It looks divastated."

I totally couldn't eat on my way and half of the things had fallen out of it making it something like a smashed sandwich.

I pushed it inside my mouth and looked at Mayu-chan. She was looking at me wide-eyed.

"...really?" she asked with a awkward smile.

"Can't waste it. My father woke up early to make it."

" Ah. I see." She laughed out. "You are great, how about becoming friends."

"Yosh..deal."

" Oh by the way. Homeroom will be starting soon. I don't know how you will like this school but the homeroom would be fun. I swear." She said with much excitement.

"Really? The teacher is great isn't it?"

"He teaches english. He is perfect."

"You like him?"

"Everyone LOVES him. Just see and then you will realise."

Just as we were talking, the boy from the morning entered. He looked at the class, looked at me from the door and smiled.

" Okay then everyone. Let's sit down shall we?"

Huh? what is he doing in the teacher's desk and everyone is sitting down without a word. Is he the class representative?

"Hey Ren-chan what's with the dress. You look like a student here. Are you into cosplay now?"

Huh..?

"Well..It's a new year and there are new students.." He looked at me and smiled, "So thought why not do something so that I don't scare you off like certain someone.."

Just as he said this the P. Ed. teacher's scream could be heard from outside, scolding those who were late on their first day.

Everyone burst out laughing. I was the only one dumbfound and beyond embarassed. I even thought of saving him a seat if we were of same class. And then suddenly I remembered the words...

"Just keep it a secret and everything will be alright."

"Ahh..." I stood up looking at him without realising. So this was what he told me about. Not to let anyone know we came to school together and running at that.

"Aracchi...anything wrong?"

I looked at Mayu. She and the whole class were looking in my direction.

Then my eyes shifted towards "Ren-chan". Who was standing there with a mischievous smile.

"Anything wrong? ARACCHI?" He smirked asking me.

I don't know why suddenly a wave of anger rusher throughout my body. I sat down without answering him.

Everyone was surely thinking weird things about me, after all they were all so shocked after I stood up.

"Ren-chan" Then started taking attendance. After that he dived right into lesson. It was quite normal and he was a good teacher. Other than occational jokes and laughters everthing was study related.

The class came to an end and he was to leave the room when everyone flocked around him asking various questions.

"He is really famous...huh?" I asked Mayu out of curiosity.

"Yeah. He is only 26 years old after all and far from being strict so everyone literally loves him."

"I see..." I said with a little uncertainity, cause I believe no one can be so open and have no bad blood in them. Just then...

"Alana Hosokawa. Is your first day interesting?"

Out of habit I answered him "Great sir..."

and then I felt the whole class look at me. It took me a while to understand the stares this time.

And then I realized...

We were speaking in english.
