Awaited

Promising myself to give my whole concentration on the coming exam, I knotted my hearts waiting the last day of my exam. Waiting wasn't easy task for me because I was very impatience about meeting Sayabang again. My imagination would go into that level where my soul was meeting him daily, holding his hands daily and so on. But waking up from such hallucinative dreams used to make me realized that in reality I would never develop such courage of holding hands with Sayabang, walking side by side with him and looking him nearly as far as my heart would blasted. Then only my satisfaction would be completed at that time but I was still on a chair. Infront of me, my text books were shattered and for a moment my soul went to meet Sayabang in my imagination. That made me happy for a second though I wasted the time which was remained for my study.

Next morning, I woke up with clumsy face and opened the phone. Suddenly, a phone call

appeared in my screen, it was from Sayabang and seeing his name on my phone made me shaked with a doubt face to make a decision either to pick up or not. His voice of that day echoed in my ear, a soothing and humming voice not manly or bold but a cute and calm one. Without wasting anytime my hand moved to receive his call. "Hello! Kayla, you got up? I actually have called to give you best wishes for your first exam today. Nothing more than that."

"Sayabang! Thank you so much for calling me in this early morning. You really made my day. I will do my best in this exam." said my cracked and nervous voice. We didn't say anything more than that and he was feeling uncomfortable to initiate any words so, I ended our calls saying lots of preparation for the exam are undone. And he also said goodbye giving me his wishes again. I was blushing whole day just because thinking that someone was actually caring for me in my life. In my life I had never had a male friend and he became the first one. Sayabang might not know about this and I would tell him later surely how he came in my lonesome life and emerged a different vibe alongside his appearance in my life.

I was going back home finishing my first exam, my mood was very much charming with friends around me. I didn't know if they had felt such different atmosphere or not but one of my friends had noticed and started continuously asking about the reasons of such cheerful smile on my face but I didn't want to tell anyone about Sayabang because of my uncertainty about our relationship.

Immediately after getting back home, my hand went towards my hand phone, checked the message without undressing the uniform or washing hands too. "Are you back? How's your exam? " the message was like that. My heart jumped 1cm above rapidly and my fingers were already ready to reply his caring message for me. "Yeah, I just got back home. Exam was pretty nicely done. Don't worry I'll top this exam." my words were very much confident to him while typing. He sent laughed sticker after few moments and Sayabang ended our chat saying he was quite busy those days handling customers.

The same day and his caring messages continued for 15 days until my last exam finished and I was also happy to meet him as he had promised to do so after my exam. Finally the time was going to come, tomorrow evening was the day of the fruit of my most awaited moments of whole patience. Counting every seconds of waiting those days were very frustrated to handle. And patience was my best enemy ever I had handled. Annie and I got ready for meeting him, obviously I wasn't going alone to meet him because I wouldn't become able to talk any words with Sayabang without Annie's help or efforts. Like as usual, we went into the same cafe with our same order, my milk tea and her favourite bubble tea. We were the only one who had ordered the tea at the evening on the whole cafe I guessed.

After waiting for 15 minutes, Sayabang was finally there with his charming smile on face. His smile perfectly suited him, only matched or perfect for his face. He sat next to Annie making her between us and started talking with her. Me and my milk tea, we were left behind alone for sometime. And Annie stood up and changed her seat so that we could sit together and then talked. He became nervous as he came near to me but zero uneasiness was in my face or posture. I was very much confident to talk to him at first. "How was your all exams"? he talked at first before me.

"I had done my best of best." I just said that and silence remained for a moment. Seeing both of us remaining silent she looked at us and smiled. Sayabang smiled back and I did too looking at her. I noticed he was repeatedly looking at the watch on his hand and looked so anxious. Annie told Sayabang if he had anywhere to go after this but he didn't say anything about it. Then suddenly, Annie went to see her friend sitting in the next table and in the same way, Sayabang also saw his friend on the front line but his friend came himself towards him and they started talking to eachother without noticing my appearance there too. I was just looking in the other side because I didn't want to say any to a stranger. "Who is she? that boy asked Sayabang. Sayabang replied smiling, "An elder sister of my sister." He used to call Annie his younger sister. And that boy again asked jokingly, " What are you doing with your sister's sister?" After that I didn't listen their conversation because I thought it as a unnecessary and didn't want to listen what would be his response to his questions. So, I pretended to go to washroom and when I got back Annie and Sayabang were on the table only, his friend had already gone. It was becoming late so, we planned to go home and meet again someday together. Sayabang told Annie to be in contact on message so that he could tell her right time to meet and we separated for our home from that cafe's door.
