I help the kids get out of the car while Rahul pays the driver. I look at the marriage Hall and I must admit it has been decorated to show a marriage rather than an engagement ceremony, with the names written in flowers decoration.

Sumit- no it’s siddha engage Riti. Mom what’s written I really can’t read it, but can I pick that flower up.
I just smile at their attempt to read their fathers names without even knowing it. Before I can read out loud a group of girls come our way to greet us and I recognise his two sisters among them. They tell us that they are on their way to fetch his fiancée and we should hurry inside. I muster up all the courage that I have and make my way towards the hall to face the person, i hate the most.
