The Visit on my Dayoff

February 16, year 0103;

I felt a chill down my spine, as i traverse through a dimensionless portal that seemed infinite and was enough to overwhelm me mentally.

It was more like I was being sucked into something rather than a free fall. I felt like my brain was going to explode at any moment in the void, it was suffocating and sooner or later I woke up from this scary nightmare.

I was sweating like crazy due to fear, thinking what the hell that was. By the time I realized, it was already morning. It was Sunday, so my schedule was just laundry and groceries . I didn't have university so I was free for the whole day.

On the other hand, I didn't have any friends, so I didn't have any plans for hanging out( that's one hell of a boring life ). After a bad start to the day, I settled down near the dining table remembering the dream I had.

The dream felt like a overdrive of information for my brain. As the dream went further on, I felt a rather nostalgic touch at one moment, it was like there was something hidden, that related to my past. The information felt like the memories I was always searching for. And this made me more curious, and suspicious about the events happening to me. FYI, this wasn't the very first time I had this dream. Every time I close my eyes, I sense a void of infinite measure, and sometimes it isn't really a pleasant dream.

This made me question myself even more, why am I getting such dreams? Why can't I remember any of my past?

As I was tinkering my brain with these questions the whole time, I heard a ring near my door. I soon went to check on the door, and it was Ruri, standing out there with an amusing face that seemed like it was determined to have fun. Her look in the face made me afraid of what was going to happen next.

*Ugh* as I lean through the door in despair, like a sloth who wanted to laze around all day with no stuff to do. Ruri noticed the wave of laziness I was emitting.

"This is what happens when you don't have friends to hang around" said Ruri, which was a slap in my face , as she wasn't wrong.

"What am I supposed to do about that?" was what I said in search for defending myself on my day off.

It's been a week since I met Ruri, and we even met a few times in the university. Ever since then, we exchanged phone numbers and would even message each other at times. It was astounding how quick we got along in such a short duration. I soon proceeded the conversation.

"So, what brings you here, ma'am?" said I in a teasing manner.

"I came to meet you, what else?" Said Ruri with a gentle smile which made me gladly realize I had no friends. Ruri then continued by saying..

"You're free ,aren't you? So stop lazing around and let's hang out"

"Ehh.."(Me)

(Me) "Are you sure you don't want to hang out with your friends?"

She then suddenly turns away in embarrassment not knowing what to say. I was baffled at first, but I exactly knew what was going on later. Grasping the situation, I approach her cunningly.

"You don't have any friends yourself, do you? "

And she gets all flustered and bashful, throwing a bunch of "Shut up" dialouges from the other side of the door.

I could do nothing but laugh, which kind of annoyed her (maybe).

After that, Ruri barged into my house, claiming her territory in the comfort area and lazed around watching television.

"So, for today, I'm counting on having a good Sunday with you, Mr.Friend"

After hearing what she said, honestly, I was quite happy as it was a first for someone to call me as their *friend*. So with a smile in my face, we spend the whole day having a good time .

By the end of the day, I was glad to spend my day with Ruri, and she was thankful and happy from her side.

And since then.....we would hang out together every weekend...
