THE CITY

When we left the dingy cave we walked and passed some places. Talking along the way. I suggested for me to turn into the White Wolf (Name of the beast I used predator on) But she refused. For some reason it felt like we were always being avoided by monsters. I had finally gathered up the courage to ask "Why are there monsters avoiding us.'. "They aren't avoiding us, they are avoiding you." She said while sighing. "Why is that?' I asked. "They sense your aura since you did whatever you did to the White Wolf you took it's aura and that's what's scaring the monsters away." She said while looking at the beautiful landscapes. "Am I abnormal?' I asked to her in a way to make her feel like I spent all my life like that. "In some ways yes, In someways no." That was the end of our conversation We continued walking until we hit farmland.

Beautiful was the only words I could think. The farmland was ripe with crops there were children playing happily in the fields. It was like they had no worries in the world. We continued walking to the town when two children came running to us. "Big Sister is that your tamed beast?" One yelled "Big Bro Quo why don't we play knights today?" They were chatting happily with the children that they hadn't noticed I was moving around the town. There were people that were part beast part human in this town. They looked like they were slaves because they were in shabby clothes and they were doing the heavy lifting. I continued moving and didn't know where I was. I moved into an alley way and noticed that there was a man and women. The man was holding down the woman and the woman was crying begging the man to let her go. the man was a black haired man with fine features the woman was about 12 years old with a red racoons tail and ears. I supposed she was a slave and the man was her master.

The scene sickened me to the point where I changed my form into a white wolf and rammed into the man from behind. "F*ck who was it that did that to me" The man yelled as he was getting back up. I looked at the woman that was looking at me with fear in her eyes. To lower her fear I Touched her with my nose and let her feel my warmth. "WHY IS THERE A WHITE WOLF IN THE TOWN!" The man yelled so loud that everyone in the surroundings heard it and came running even the guards. When they arrived there all they had seen was me with my nose on the woman and the man 15 feet and a crater in the wall. The guards probably thought I was trying to harm the woman so they tried attacking me with swords but when they hit me all that happened was me regenerating at a fast pace. There were Monster tamers in the crowd because I had seen the way Zilla dressed up and noticed that they were dressed the same way so I looked to the crowd and thought "I mean no harm, I saved this girl from being raped if you can please restrain and retrieve these people.' All the beast tamers were surprised when they heard my thoughts and thought about it for a while "Stop! It means no harm!" someone in the crowd finally said. after the guards finally stopped attacking someone sent a few goblin looking creatures to retrieve the girl. While I walked over to the man. When I was 5 feet from him I turned back to my slime form. Which let's be honest surprised everyone. I then moved towards the man and when I was using predator he begged "Please no! No! I don't wanna die!" After I devoured his body I got flame magic, Speech and, appraisal. Everyone was shocked when I devoured him and said "Treat the girl." then they all looked at the girl I used that to escape back to Zilla's side. When I got there people were looking at Zilla in a perverted way. I jumped my slimy self over to her and said in what I named thought transversion "Hey people are staring at you.' I said. "I know" she replied. After we talked we moved deeper into town having small talk that made her laugh most of the time until we got to the place that looks like a clan. "Why are we here?' I thought. "Oh we are here at the Adventurers guild to collect our reward." She said. "Reward for what?' I thought. "Reward for gathering polymethis flowers that are used to make medicine." she replied. "Oh those weird flowers.' Was the only thing I said when we walked into the guild all eyes were put on them.

All men were Looking at Zilla as if she was a female dog and they were dogs in heat. All the woman were looking at Quo as if he was the man they all wanted to have a big orge with. While I was getting weird looks from other monster tamers beasts they were all whimpering and being scared as if they were about to die any second. When the Monster Tamers noticed their monsters weird reactions they all started looking around to see if there was a monster that they had never seen before and when they laid there eyes on me they were all shocked. they noticed me from the time I had killed that human. "Hey you over there stop!" one yelled. Everyone including those two stopped "Where did you get that monster?" They said and everyone shifted their gazes upon me. "Does it matter where I found my monsters?" she said with a look of annoyance. "Doesn't anyone remember that slime from earlier?" One of the tamers yelled "Are you talking about the one that devoured the young man and saved that 12 year old beast kin?" One of the drunk adventurers said.

"Oh yeah at first it looked like a White Wolf, then a slime, and devoured a human and spoke just like him." another one said. Since the cat was out of the bag and they had already discovered me I changed into the White Wolf form. The pressure being emitted by me caused the monsters to be more frightened by me "That's the one!" yelled the first monster tamer that recognised me. After he yelled I looked at the man and the glare that came with the gaze caused the man to shut his mouth. After doing that I thought why not scare them to hell I thought. After asking the Great Sage to merge the human form with the White Wolf form. I transformed into a beast kin form with both white and black hair. "Why do you have to be annoying." was the only thing I said. They all looked at me with their mouths dropped open only then did I realise I was ***** with a 8 pack and a big tree hanging out.

All the woman were both mesmerized by the way I look now and the way I have a thing just flapping in the air. "WHEN DID YOU LEARN TO TALK?" Quo yelled out loud "AND WHERE ARE YOUR CLOTHES?". "Oh I didn't account for this." I said while looking down. 'Hey great sage why do I have a gender? aren't slimes meant to not have a gender?' I thought to the great sage.

"You can eliminate the Bodily reproduction and Anus of the body if you so please because that stuff is useless." He replied 'Oh can you do that for me.' I thought honestly. "Of course I can." It said with a proud tone.

After that little talk all the bodily parts that weren't needed (***** and Anus) I now looked like a genderless creature. This astonished everyone. "Hey do you think I can become an adventurer too?" I asked Quo and Zilla. "Hah! A monster wishing to become a adventurer!" A drunk adventurer yelled out. In a matter of seconds I was behind him from the anger he caused deep down inside me from remembering the memories of my boss back then calling me a monster when they wanted to kill me. Before he could react I grabbed the adventurers head, bloodlust leaking out. I regained my self control when Zilla yelled stop. I released the mans head but whispered in his ear "I am different from other monsters, I am not tamed and will kill whoever calls me a monster or tries harming those close to me." those were all the words I said. I returned to Zilla's side.

She could tell something was bothering me. I knew she probably feared me from the way I acted just now. But to my surprise she didn't show fear only friendliness to me. We walked to the registration hall which is at the back of the guild. "Hi how may I help you?" A nice young girl about 19 years old said to us. "We'd like to register." Zilla said while looking at the receptionist. "1 Knight and a beast tamer?" she said while looking at me "Is this your slave?" she said while giving me a mocking manner. "Sorry but instead of him being registered." Zilla said while pointing at Quo "This one is being registered as an independent." She said while looking at me like I was a human being that mattered.

I looked at her showing her the sentience of myself in this form. Though she looked at me in a distasteful manner she said "Alright come to the testing room" as she led us down a hallway into a open colosseum. "This is where the test takes place defeat an instructor and you pass." was all she said about the test before she left. After a while 2 instructors came over "are you two taking the test?" was all they asked Zilla nodded. We then left and down to the colosseum. After we exchanged greetings Zilla said "do any of you have an extra pair of clothing?" they replied yes and she asked if she could borrow them. she then fed them to me which I used predator on and absorbed their property which I could now change into clothing.

"Why did you feed my clothes to it?" one of the instructors said. After she said that she shut her mouth to see that I was changing forms into a White Wolf, then gradually into a white wolf demi-human look. When they had seen the ***** figure they looked with their mouths dropped open but what surprised them even more was that the clothes appeared on the body as if magically. "Can I take the test now?" I said while looking at their faces which now look like their jaws have had weights weighing down on them.

"Ahem yes." said the one man carrying a great sword "What would you like to test in?".

"What are the choices?" I asked the man.

"Swordsmanship, Bowman ship, Magic, assassination, scouting, and tracking." said the man trying to recall what they were. "How many can I take?" I asked the man. "any and all if you have the proficiency." he said while recalling the rules.

"Then I choose all besides magic." I said while looking at the rack of weapons "May I?" I said while looking at the rack of weapons. "Sure." except the one to reply wasn't the man it was the Assassin test lady.

I walked over to the rack of weapons and picked 3 weapons 1 a sword, 2 a nice bow, and the final were 2 katars that were my main weapons in my last life. They were watching me when I turned around and asked "what happens if these disappear? do I have to pay for them?" The magician girl said "No you don't but why are you asking?". I turned back to the weapons and said great sage use predator. Then as I thought those words my body devoured the weapons and I got a message from the great sage saying

"Predator successful

devoured- 1 sword, 1 bow, 2 katars

Gained from weapons-

Swordsmanship Ranked- D

Bowman Ship- Ranked-C

Assasination class- Ranked- Uncommon

Extra- able to make weapons out of parts of your slime- can appear at any time.

Random- Gained the skill bloodlust- Rank-C(Beginner)"

They all looked at me shocked and I then said "Let's begin." When I got all of the knowledge transfered to my head. they snapped out of their shocked state when I said those words and the one to step forward was the girl and boy with a bow. "I'm Limika. and I'm Will. were twins and the bowman instructors." they said in unison. "your test will be to hit 5 moving targets that are traveling by teleportation at slow rates." said Limika. After will and Limika asked where my bow was they were shocked to see the bow manifest from my body from the same slime like material that swallowed the weapon earlier. "please start the test." I said while looking at her. she broke from her daze and started the test immediately.

The 5 targets were moving in a circle at a fast teleportation speed. They were 6 inches in diameter and were white which made it hard to see them. I grabbed the bowstring and pulled back as a arrow made from my slime was materializing I shot in the middle of all five and made it hit the wall so then it splattered all over the targets back. now that my slime was all over it I could now track the movements of them no matter how fast it was going. I pulled my bowstring back again and shot it at of the targets getting a bullseye. I repeated the repetitive motion 4 more times hitting all of them when the test ended I recalled the slime back to my body Zilla and Quo weren't even surprised at what I did. The magician lady on the other hand bombarded me with questions. Like a river that leads into the sea, it begins but never ends. This is a fun city.

Authors Note- Sorry for not posting in a while I was making sure the quality was alright and not bad, I did redoes of this chapter about 7 times and each time making changes, It also sometimes didn't save my works so it took at while hope you enjoy the 1/4 parts to come for this tiny arc! enjoy!
