The darkness was going on forever I didn't know how long I had been there. If only I was strong enough I could have survived. was the only thought that ran through my mind. If only I could live another life. A life where I could do what I want.

"Do you want power?..." a voice resounded in the darkness. I freaked out when a black and white entity floated to me. "Do you want Power... young devil?" the voice sounded frail and weak like the entity was dying. "What's the point I'm dead." I said while looking down. "Death is a mere thought humans cooked up." The entity said looking at me as if it were looking at a creature that knew nothing.

"Power should be given to those who are strong, and have no fear of death." I said as I closed my eyes. When my eyes closed the entity forcefully jerked me. "power is useless... Only way to be powerful is to earn it." I said when the entity jerked me.

"If you want it that way fine." The entity then grabbed my head and forcefully injected its aura in me. "Great sage, Predator, Heat and Cold immunity, Stealth, Magic talent, pain removal. These are the gifts I give you to become powerful." As it was saying that I lost conscious at some point I awoke.

'Why can't I see anything, Why is my body blue. Why can't I talk or feel my body?' I said as I was freaking out inside my conscious. "Host cannot feel anything a human feels because host doesn't have those body parts." Said a mysterious voice in my head that sounded like a old man. 'GHOST! WHAT IS THAT?!' I yelled inside my inner thoughts. "I am the Great Sage ability in this world. My purpose is for information on anything in this world."

'If your a great sage than what am I?' I tried saying out loud but forgot I couldn't talk. "You are a slime the weakest creature in this world." The great sage said with no emotion. 'Weakest?' I thought 'Well what are those things she said before I passed out and what to they do?'

"Predator- A unique ability only you have

Uses: Can devour anything and take it's power, Ability, Form, and Race.

Heat and cold immunity- A ability to your race

Uses- Eliminates the feeling of Cold or hot if it has the ability to harm you.

Stealth- A ability anything can have

Uses- hides your Aura, Presence, and smell from anything around you

Counters- Skill-Detect Ability-Echolocation

Magic Talent- Rare among monsters but not humans

Uses- Allows you to use magic depending on your aptitude for the element.

Aptitude- All Elements.

Pain Removal- Removes your sense of pain

Uses-None other can removing pain

Regeneration- Regains health, body parts."

"What is this Magec?" I said with full understanding of the rest because of the explanation. "Magic is the thing that is all around us in this world." 'Okay, you said you know everything right?' I thought while seeing if I could move. "Yes". 'then can you teach me how to move?' I said in my mind sheepishly while thinking how the Great sage would react. "would host like information sent to head?" 'Yes?' I thought not knowing how sick I'd feel.

I tried making a jumping motion in this jelly like form and succeeded from where I landed I noticed the feeling of flowers. I asked the sage 'How do I use predator?' Because I wanted to eat them seeing if I could learn something about it. "The way to activate Predator is to just say the name in your mind or think about it.

After hearing the explanation I thought about using predator and Devoured the 12 flowers I had landed on they dissolved into my body. Don't know why just left it there. I travelled around like that for quite a while until I felt a presence. The sound of twigs and leaves snapping continued until I heard people talking "There are no monsters here Linger." said a voice. "Yeah but I'm not going back til I tame one." said the person supposedly called linger. The voices got louder and louder until they came out into what sounded like a clearing. 'Don't notice me, don't notice me.' I thought. The people searched around until they spotted a movement in the field. "MONSTER!" The man shouted. Out of panic I asked great sage 'What is the composition of the flower.'

"The flower is named Hypotic

it is a rare flower in this world it's composition is made of 13 things-

Just as I absorbed the properties both the human sounding creatures came and I had seen their faces.

The woman was a beautiful blonde with brown eyes and a nice pair of Jingles. While the male was a nice tall broad shouldered man that looked like he wanted to kill me. He unsheathed his sword and was about to jump at me when I jump at the Lady and hid in the flowers behind her. "You scared it away Quo." The lady said. The lady was upset for him scaring me away. "We haven't met a monster that I wanted to catch all day heck we met no monster and the only one we found you scared a way." She said to me she sounded upset and angry. The man replied "I'm sorry madam, I was worried about your safety". While they were arguing I backed up and hit my plushy back on something hard and furry. When I turned around it was a big creature about 10 times my size. Me not knowing what to do I ran back to those two people bickering like a couple I did all I could to get their attention. When they noticed me they noticed the giant monster behind me. When they had seen the giant monster behind me their bodies froze up. Me not wanting to die or run stood in front of the group. When they all noticed I stopped the monster was still running at me. Now that I stopped I noticed the body shape of it it was like a wolf with a horn and a lightning red coat like it was drenched in blood. When it was in swiping distance of me it lifted it's paw up and swung at me when its claw hit me it tore me in three but what really scared me was how I wasn't dead but regenerating. The monster toppled over I was confused until I remembered what the Great sage had said 'Poisonous' I probably unconsciously activated it. The wolf was lying there on the floor dead "I suggest using predator on it." The great sage said. I did what it said I walked over to it.

I was wondering if it was still alive I checked it's pulse and noticed it wasn't breathing so I assumed it was dead. I presumed using predator on it. After predator had done its job devouring it I took on it's form for convenience. When I turned to the people that were there the women finally unfroze and said "High?". I looked at the man and noticed that while he was still frozen in place there was utter hate in his eyes. I had seen him going for his sword but did nothing about it instead I walked over to the Lady who was probably scared stiff and moved my nose on the ground to show an arrow pointing from north, east, south, west and proceeded to write with my nose City? Forest? Where? "Are you intelligent?" The lady asked. I nodded my head yes.

"are there others like you?" she said. I shook my head no because I didn't even know if I was normal. "Are you really a slime?" She said almost doubting her beliefs about slimes. 'Why does she ask questions?' I thought but to be nice to her I changed back to my slime form. From the looks of it she was surprised. "Why are you being so rude in your thoughts?" She said like I was talking out loud. 'SHE CAN HEAR ME?!' I shouted at the top of my lounges in my mind. "Ow Ow stop yelling." She said almost covering her ears. 'How can you hear me?' I thought almost like I felt like I was talking. "I'm a monster tamer, I can tame monsters when I give them a name. When they are given a name I can communicate with thoughts but you are the first monster to be able to think much less me communicate with when we haven't formed a pack." She explained her job. 'Am I really that different?' I thought like I was abnormal a person just like when I was young. "So since you can communicate with thoughts do you have a name and if so did you use to have a master but they died?" She said.

'My name is Rino, I never had a Master." I said to her through thoughts. "A named monster without a master. Strange." She replied to me. 'Do you two have names?' The thought passed my mind. "Oh sorry, we haven't introduced ourselves I'm Zilla and he is Quo." She said kinda embarrassed for not introducing themselves first. Just when she said Quo's name he snapped out of it and looked around wondering where the monster went "Where is it?" Quo said in panic. 'He isn't all that bright is he?' I thought while looking at him. She giggled embarrassingly "That's my brother for you." she said kinda sounding as if upset they were related.

They chatted like that for a while. After some time Zilla asked if Rino wanted to follow them out of this dingy flower filled cave. (The cave was covered with flowers and twigs were scattered everywhere because of the high winds.) Rino replied happily and they left into the bright new world.
