The Gender Swap

"I wish that I never married you."

Ray shouted at his wife Anna and stormed out of the house. He walked towards the beach and began to think about the past. It had almost been an year since they have been married and she continues to annoy him.

"Yes, she's damn beautiful but a beautiful face isn't always an innocent one. She is not serious with me. Maybe she really married me for money." He thought.

"I wish that there was a way to get rid of all of this pain."

Ray kept on walking by the seashore and then stopped. He looked up at the night sky and smiled sadly.

Meanwhile at home Anna was crying badly.

"He will never understand me. I'll kill myself someday if this continues."

"I wish that I could make him understand."

She thought sadly.

Ray walked back home late and went straight to bed. Anna wasn't sleeping. She just lay on the bed and stared in the dark. Soon they both fell asleep.

Then it happened.

The next morning, Anna woke up early and walked into the washroom to wash her face. She hadn't opened her eyes yet. When she washed her face, she felt some very odd.. Her face felt very rough. Anna looked into the mirror and screamed.

Hearing her scream, Ray got up quickly from the bed and dashed into the washroom. Next, both of them screamed on seeing each other. Anna fainted.

Ray dragged her out of the washroom and laid her on the bed. She was very heavy.

As a matter of fact, they both had gotten their bodies swapped.

It had totally shocked Ray who was now trapped in Anna's body and Anna in his.

It was funny yet a very serious concern. Ray tried to wake her up. When she woke up. He offered her a glass of water. She drank it gratefully.

"Why do I have to face a lot of problems in my life?" Ray thought.

After Anna had drunk the water, they looked at each other and became silent for a few seconds.

Then both of them spoke together, " What are you doing in my body?"

"How would I know? "

"Maybe the heavens punished us for fighting a lot." Anna said.

Ray just frowned.

"How will I go to the office like this?" Ray pointed at his body which was not his.
