I and Court walk into the busy bar and sat on our favorite spot. I go through Instagram while Courtney went to get the drinks

"Hey Elena"

I look up to Dave, short for David

"Hey, you are looking good tonight"

I said lacing excitement in my voice, my night won't be lonely after all. He is wearing a green polo and black jeans. His typical clubbing dress

"Oh stop it, where is Courtney"

"Getting the drinks, come on sit down"

He quickly sat opposite from me and pull out his phone

"What are you doing here?"

"Good evening to you Court"

"You are not allowed to call me that, only E"

"But I love calling you that"

Court place the drinks and glass on the table then sit next to me. I take a sip and watch them argue on

Dave is one of those guys interested in Courtney and she doesn't give a damn. He comes here every Friday just to see her. Well for the past two months now.

"Dave what part of get lost don't you understand"

"The part that says don't go"

"E why did you welcome him here"

"You know I enjoy the way you both fight, it's gonna make my night"

I said winking at Court

"well there is this guy over there, he got us the drink. So am going over there and when I return, I want this trash off our table"

Court hissed at Dave, grab her bag and drink and left the table

I released the breath I unconsciously held in. Court can be a hand full

I pity Dave though, doesn't he get the signal?

"You don't have to be stuck with me tonight"

"Am stuck in this club tonight, so I don't mind a company"

"But did I ever go wrong somewhere"

"sincerely you haven't gone right anywhere"

We bust out laugher

My phone start ringing and it's my boyfriend

"I got to take this call"

I don't know how but I and Dave's conversation just won't stop. We keep each other company most Friday. Right now we are dancing and Dave is so bad at it

"I don't even know where Courtney is"

"Hey, I can see you are having"

"I can't hear you"

I yell at her

"I need you to meet this guy, I don't want to follow him home. You will act like the drunk one and me the sane one who will take us home"

"He will definitely figure out that am the sane one"

"just shut up and come, am not drunk"

Court pull me with her to some guy. Mehn is he glowing tonight or it's just me. Court always get the cute and rich guys

"Hey, Elena right"

"Yeah! am youuuu are?"
