An Escape

"Listen, we are going to kill him tonight no matter what", a guy with a mask on his face said to the second guy with a mask. "Yeah, that good for nothing is just wasting our clan resources", the second guy replied with an evil look on his face. "Let's move", said the first guy while pointing a hand towards a certain house to give a direction to the second guy. They walked in from the window with swords in their hands.

A boy was sitting while staring into a blank space. Two guys barged into his room, furiously with swords. "Who are you guys?", asked the boy with a frightened look on his face. "We are here to kill you, scum", said the first guy. "You are just a burden to our clan; we are going to get rid of you today", continued the second guy. "Tomorrow there will be news spread all over our clan that Lin xiao a cripple's son was killed", said the first guy with an evil smile. "What should I do? Am I going to die here today? I don't even know any martial arts technique to protect myself now", Lin xiao's thoughts were overflowing in his mind unstoppable.

"What are you even thinking, worthless scum", said the first guy while slowly making a slight cut on Lin xiao's face. "Probably he would be thinking that he doesn't know any martial techniques to protect himself", said the second guy while laughing evilly.

"I have to escape anyhow, but how can I when these two are standing right in front of me", Lin xiao thought in fear. "Now, let's kill him we can't afford to get caught by other clan members", said the first guy to the second one. "Yeah....you are right!", the second guy replied with an assuring tone. The first guy took his sword back to pull out some strength and said: "I will make it really quick so that it won't hurt much to you, Lin xiaooooo".

"Nooooo!!!", Lin xiao screamed as loudly as he can, and a jade flower vas came into his sight; he picked up the vas and smashed it on the first guy's head with his all might who is about to stab him.

Lin xiao ran towards the backdoor of his house "I am going to make it", Lin xiao said to himself while running out of the door. The guy quickly held his head as he felt an unbearable pain, the other guy asked: "Are you alright?". "Don't worry about me, just go after him and kill him", he said in anger and continued "We can't let him escape and inform the other clan members otherwise we will die, I will be coming after you; you go now". "Okay, got it; I will make sure he won't live today", the second guy replied while rushing towards the backdoor.

"According to how much I have studied in the books, there should be a Demon Beast Forest area after a distance of 3 or 4 kilometres, that is the only chance that can save me from being killed; I can only rely on hiding there", Lin xiao said to himself while panting heavily.

~After running for 4 kilometres.

"Damn it, finally I am here; I don't know if I will be able to survive or not, but still it's better than getting killed by them; at the least, I will have some chance of survival", Lin xiao said while looking back to check if they are still following him.

"I saw him", the second guy shouted towards the first guy while pointing at Lin xiao. "I haven't thought he will make us run this far, a while ago I thought I would let his body in one-piece, but now as compensation, I will cut him piece by piece", the first guy said with a cruel and ferocious look on his face.

"I have to enter the forest before they catch me", Lin xiao said while speeding up. "Here it is the Demon Beast forest", Lin xiao said to himself with a slight hope of survival in his eyes. As Lin xiao took a speed run into the forest, both of these guys in a mask stops at the point where the forest starts. "We can't go on any further; we can only wait for him to come out", said the first guy. "Yeah...you are right we can't risk our life to kill that scum, and on the basis of his strength, he won't be able to survive in this forest at all", the second guy replied. "Let's wait for some days; otherwise we will retreat", suggested the first guy.

"Finally, I escaped from them, but I don't think so that they will retreat this early I can't go out of this forest for some days", Lin xiao said while breathing heavily. "I should go slightly deep into the forest even if it is dangerous at least I will be able to rest for some time", he said while walking straight and continued "Let's see what awaits me there......"
