He has two sons named Yan ling who is at Earth Realm (Stage 9) a crown prince; his age is 17 & Xing ling at Qi Refining Realm (Stage 5) a second prince, his age is 15, and a daughter named Yin ling at Earth Realm (Stage 6), a beautiful princess and an apple of her father's eye and her age is 16.

Tang dynasty lies in the Central direction ruled by the Ling clan. To its Northwest lies the Mizu region governed by the Xiao clan. Then on its Northeast lies the Hi region governed by the Xia clan. On its Southwest lies the Kaze region governed by the Yin clan. To the Southeast direction lies the Tsuchi region governed by the Zhong clan.

Ling clan is the most powerful clan among all others with a vast history and territories under their command.

As there is only the Xiao clan from the Mizu region, which has a branch clan because of its vast history. Xiao clan has remained a threat to other clans except for the Ling clan. But because of the pact that was signed between these clans' ancestors, dispute never rose up. But in five years General meeting of five clans, there held Martial arts competition between the young generation of all clans, and each clan is allowed to represent their candidates for the competition. All the clans are allowed to represent the candidates under the quantity of a hundred.
