Victoria Torres was a dreamy sixteen-year-old, with a bright future ahead of her. In her small town, everything seemed perfect until she met Martin Sierra, the most attractive and popular boy in school. "Martin, please," she pleaded, "My parents are going to be very angry with me. Help me. You told me you loved me."

Martin smiled smugly.

"That's what I tell all the fools like you so they open their legs for me. Now get out of my house."

Victoria's heart broke into a thousand pieces. With tears running down her cheeks, she picked up her bag and left Martin's house, feeling the pain consume her. The betrayal and rejection followed her as she left that place, wondering how she had gotten to this point and what she would do with her life now.
