[ I live in a small town... With my dad.... I'm the only child my parents have... But sometimes I wish I wasn't.... My life is as bad as possible... I go to a nearby high school.... It's not that good... I don't get good grades and I get bullied... Yes, I have a few friends but.... They're just... not like true ones... Like the ones I see on TV... My dad doesn't like me at all... He says I'm a disappointment to the family... My mom recently left me and my dad... She married another man and went overseas... My dad hasn't been normal after that.... He's been drinking alot lately. Even tho I go to my part time job at Starbucks, when I come back home he's there. Waiting for me. Waiting to pour all his anger out on me ]

This was written on the first page of Mita's diary, and that was the only page she wrote until it was thrown into the trash.

Mita is a 17-year-old teen. Her life hasn't been all roses and pearls. Instead, it has always been thorns and spikes. Just like she wrote in her diary. Although she's gorgeous and has short silky brown hair, her classmates are pure bullies. She faces a lot of difficulty at school, home, and at work too. So basically she's overwhelmed and depressed everywhere. The teachers talk to her at school about her grades and how her dad doesn't attend parent teacher meetings. The manager at work also taunts her just for her looks and not for her work because her work fellows take the credit for all her work. And she spends only a few hours at home. She doesn't have the energy to prove herself, to tell her story to everyone and open to people about her situation. So she just stays shut and listens to whatever everyone's saying. She doesn't believe in love and hates the word when used by anyone. She never receives love, nor she gives it to anyone. Furthermore, she feels herself like a beautiful bird, trapped in a dark room and unable to fly the way it wants. Not only that, but she has lost her interest in living and now she's just surviving.

•Mita

Another day has started... I don't wanna go to school but.. I guess that's my everyday dialogue.. I get up and get ready for school... I don't actually like school but the only thing I like is the uniform. It's really cute. So I wear everything and wear a tie. Then I make my way to the nearest convenience store to buy a quick breakfast which is a cream bun and a coffee. I'm so glad I didn't see my dad today.

I make my way to school and I soon as I reach the school grounds I see my so called friend walks towards me. "Hey! Mita!" "Hey.." "You know what?! That boy over there just gave me my notebook that I forgot at school yesterday" "huh?" "Yeah! I think he likes me" "oh God. Not this again. He was just being nice that's all. Don't be so-" My friend gets furious and says, "You shouldn't talk like this! You don't even know about love. How would you know." she scoffs and walks away. I'm glad I gave her a reality check , she really needed it.
