Chapter 1: The Fall~
The wind howled at the top of the hill, brushing through the trees and carrying the weight of a tense moment. Two figures stood near the edge—a woman and a young boy. They weren’t just standing—they were struggling.
The boy had a gun in his hand. His eyes were filled with fear and pain. The woman was trying to take the gun away from him. Her hands trembled as she gripped his arm.
Woman
“Let it go! You’re not thinking straight.”
The woman pleaded, trying to pull the gun from his hand.
The boy cried, his voice breaking. His body trembled as he tried to keep hold of the weapon.
Woman
“Please… don’t do this.”
She begged, still fighting to take the gun.
Boy
“Just leave me alone!”
In the struggle, the boy pushed her. She stumbled backward—right toward the edge of the cliff.
The boy raised the gun. His hands shook.
Woman
“I’ll leave… I’ll never come ba—”
The woman’s scream echoed as the bullet hit her stomach. Her eyes widened in pain and shock. Her hand reached out to the boy, as if begging him to catch her.
Down into the deep darkness of the cliff.
The boy stood frozen, the gun still in his hand. His chest rose and fell in quick, shaky breaths.
Suddenly, footsteps thundered behind him.
A man screamed as he ran to the edge, just in time to see the woman disappear into the shadows below.
He whispered again, falling to his knees. His eyes searched the depths, but there was no sign of her. No trace. No hope.
Then his gaze turned to the boy.
And his grief turned into rage.
Boy
“I… I didn’t mean to…”
The boy stammered, voice trembling.
A loud slap echoed through the air.
The boy held his cheek, pain burning through his skin. Tears welled in his eyes.
Man
“You were that jealous of her?”
Man
“So jealous you killed her?”
Boy
“No! I swear, I didn’t kill her!”
Man
“I would’ve believed you,”
The man said coldly, his voice shaking,
Man
“but I saw it. I saw you pull the trigger. With my own eyes.”
Suddenly, a firm voice came from behind.
Police officer
“You are under arrest for murder.”
A police officer said, stepping forward. He had arrived with the man—and had seen everything.
The boy backed away, shaking his head.
Boy
“No! I didn’t kill her! Please, believe me!”
Police officer
“Tell your story at the station.”
The officer replied as he grabbed the boy’s wrists and began cuffing him.
Boy
“Kook, please! You believe me, right?”
The boy begged, eyes desperate.
Boy
“I didn’t do anything!”
Man
“Arrest him. He murdered my best friend.”
The boy stopped struggling.
His heart stopped beating for a second—not because of the handcuffs, not because of the police—but because of his voice. The man who had once called him by the sweetest names… now called him a murderer.
Somewhere far away, in a tall building made of glass and steel, footsteps echoed on a polished marble floor. A man in a black suit hurried through the hallway, his face filled with worry.
He stopped in front of a large door and knocked once before entering.
Inside sat a man at a desk—the CEO. His face was cold, his posture sharp, and his eyes were unreadable.
?
“Kim Taehyung has been arrested.”
The CEO didn’t respond. But something shifted in his eyes.
?
“He was arrested… for the murder of JK’s childhood best friend.”
Riri
Hey everyone! I'm here with my very first story—an original one that I wrote myself.
Riri
Please pardon any mistakes, and let me know if the story or the dialogue sounds cliché.
Riri
Also, would you like me to continue writing this story?
Riri
Byee! Have a nice day!

well...... a small advice ..... wheather we like it or not ! u must not delete this story ..... a story should be created because of the author's heart not the trader's interests .... there r many kinds of readers with many different thoughts and likings and opinions .... u can't possibly keep up with everyone of them right ? so continue this story if ur heart says so ....... not if u dotn want to but dotn take decisions based on readers and there interests /Smile/
