Chapter-1
Seoul – 2:38 AM]
It began quietly.
No sirens. No alerts.
Just… silence.
The kind of silence that makes your skin crawl.
That suffocates the city like a thick fog.
And then people started falling.
Not screaming.
Just dropping—eyes wide, lips trembling—before rising again…
Wrong.
Jungkook didn’t know what was happening.
One minute he was jogging near the docks, music blasting in his ears, and the next—
He saw someone eating another person.
He froze.
Was this a prank? A druggie?
Then the attacker turned… and its eyes—milky white, blood-drenched mouth twitching—locked on him.
Jeon Jungkook
Nope *he whispered, backing up. Then he ran.*
Jungkook ducked through alleys, breath ragged, already scratched and bruised. He wasn’t a coward—but this? This wasn’t something you fight head-on.
Not without a plan. Not alone.
Yoongi had dragged Jimin out of the train wreckage.
They didn’t know each other. But it didn’t matter.
Jimin could barely speak—shell-shocked and limping—but Yoongi had seen enough war movies to know: you don’t leave someone behind.
They hid in a pharmacy.
Yoongi quietly patched up Jimin's ankle with shaking hands.
Min Yoongi
You ever seen anything like this?
Jimin just shook his head, clenching a bloodied hoodie.
Yoongi didn’t say it, but he knew.
They weren’t dealing with anything normal.
Something unnatural was crawling through the streets of Daegu.
Inside an abandoned bookstore, Namjoon pushed a dusty shelf in front of the entrance while Jin held a flashlight.
The streets outside were chaos—people running, screaming, some turning on each other.
Kim Seokjin
We need to move,
Namjoon’s hands were bloodied, not from a wound—he’d had to defend them earlier with a broken chair leg. It still didn’t feel real.
Kim Namjoon
Let’s wait till dawn. Then we plan.
Jin nodded, close enough that their shoulders brushed.
They were strangers who became teammates in the span of one nightmare hour.
And already, neither wanted to let go.
Eunwoo stumbled out of a broken clinic with Hoseok limping beside him.
Their group had tried to help others.
It backfired—badly.
Now it was just them.
Bloody, exhausted, terrified
Cha Eunwoo
We need higher ground
Hoseok just nodded, gripping a rusted pipe.
They didn’t trust each other yet—but Eunwoo had pulled him from a collapsing stairwell.
That was enough, for now.
Taehyung stood alone in his family’s greenhouse, breath fogging the glass.
He hadn’t seen anyone in hours. His phone had no signal. His dog had growled once at the shadows… then gone silent.
He sat on the floor, knees to his chest, eyes blank.
Then something flickered in his palm.
Just a spark. Gone in an instant.
He didn’t understand it.
But it didn’t scare him.
Not yet.
And Somewhere Far Away…
A tremor shook the earth beneath a forgotten mountain.
A stone cracked open.
Something stirred—but didn’t awaken.
Not yet.
