Chapter 5

"What are you doing Cayden. " a husky voice came from behind me.

So I slowly turn my head around and found out that our instructor is stand behind me with a serious look in his face.

With an embarrassed face because the whole class is watching us, I scratch the back of my head and answered.

"No-nothing sir. "

" You have been absent for so long and when you came back you are not listening. Do you think I am an easy teacher or maybe you think subject is ti easy for you. " he rant.

"N-no sir. It's not like that. " I replied.

"You better behave yourself from now on, I will keep an eye on you. " he said as he walks away from me and continue his lecture.

He is George Brown our teacher in Biology a stout man in his 50's. He is good in teaching but he favors girls more than boys. He is also use grades to hook up with girls in his class that's why most of the girl school hate him and they don't want to his student.

We are interrupted in our lecture when we heard someone speak from the speaker.

"Announcement student's teachers and school staff's will have a meeting this 1:30 onwards so all classes are suspended for the afternoon. " our principal announced.

After the principal has finished talking the students roar in joy and started planning what to do this afternoon.

"Silence! " a loud yell coming from our instructor made the room silent.

"You can plan what to do this afternoon after my discussion." he said and continued the discussion.

After awhile we are dismissed and each student went out with their friends in a rush.

I also need to go. I still need to find a job.

"Cayden, would you like to come with us we are going to the bar. " Jason said.

He is one of my classmate. He is a good looking rich guy but he is not arrogant like other rich kids.

"Sorry Jason I can not come this time. " I replied.

"Come on man, it's been a long time since we hang out and you have been absent for a long time. Don't worry it's my treat. " he said as he put his right arm aroung my neck and continue to persuade me.

"I really have to turn you down man, I have important thing to do today. " I replied and his facial expression became gloomy for a moment.

I can not reveal to him that I will be looking for a job. Surely he will lend me a money just to go with them.

"I will be coming with you next time. " I said and his look became energized.

"Your the one who said that, don't break your words man. " he said.

"Okay then well go now. " he continued as he wave his hand and went back to our classmates who are waiting for him.

I left the school and started walking around the city for the whole afternoon looking for a job. I went to a meat shop, restaurant, bakery, grocery store and other places but they dont lack in man power.

It's getting late dark already, I'll just try my luck again tomorrow.

I am walking in the side walk when a black car suddenly stopped besides me and then a guy got out and stopped me.
