Chapter 1

"beep! beep! beep! "

I woked up because of the sound of the machine. The smell of antiseptic is too strong that without opening my eyes I know that I'm in a hospital. When I opened my eyes I saw a woman sleeping while she is sitting beside my bed. I look up to the ceiling and as the light coming from the florescent lamp struck my eyes I closed them again. I tried to remember what happened to me and why did I wake up in the hospital. My toughts were disturb when somebody talked.

"Youre awake." with a soft and sleepy tone on her voice.

She is robbing her right hand on one of her eyes when I opened my eyes. Before I could speak she stand up quickly.

"I will call the nurse to check you" as she ran out the door.

A few moment just after she went out another girl with thick glasses came, she is wearing a white uniform that nurses use and shes holding a paper and a pen with her. When she approach me she asked questions regarding my health and as I answered her questions she checking the paper she holds when she came. After she finished asking the questions.

" I will come back again later to check you"

I nodded as the response and she turned around and leaved the room.

I closed my eyes again and once more tried to remember what happened to me. The only thing that I remember is that I'm on the way back home and I can't remember after that.

I opened my eyes when I heard the door opened, as the girl awhile ago came back holding a bucket of fruits. I was mesmerized when I clearly saw her face. She is like an angel with a fair skin ,blonde curly hair and she is wearing a light blue dress.

"Is there a dirt on my face? " that question brought me back to my senses.

" Uhmm, Ahhh" the only response I can make as I lowered my head with embarrassment.

"Don't be shy" as she chuckled.

"Want some apple? "

I nod as a response and she smiled. She took two apples and wash it in the sink. I watch her every move silently as she sit beside the table and started peeling the apple.

" Here eat some. " as she hand the sliced apples to me. I took one slice and take a bite.

"Can I ask you something" I said in a low voice.

"Go on" she uttered and smiled.

"Wha.... " just as I began to ask her a nurse came.

"Excuse me sir. I will have to check you again" as she approach.

"I will just buy some water" the woman said as she left the room again.

The nurse ask the same question and write on the paper that she is holding as I answer her questions. After awhile she finished all what she have to do and left the room.
