The chairman looks back at me in confusion, "Are you sure you two don't know each other?" I sneer and look away from her for the first time...."I don't know her." I reply plainly, which she scoffs at.

"Well, in that case, please show yourself to the door, Mister Han. " She eyes me with a smile on her face, daring me to protest. I walk towards her with my hands in my pockets, "Are all mental patients this rude?" I look at her in disdain.

"Ouhhh no, Mr Han....she's not a patient here, Missy is one of our nurses." Before I could reply, two middle-aged men in hospital gowns come in, " Missy, we heard you're one of us now." One of them says while heading to that woman.

"Xuming..... Jinxing, what are you two doing here?" She says with concern on her face. "We're here to accompany you on your first day here. It can be scary sometimes. " She scowls at them and motions for them to come close to her, "Are you two mad or what ?...... Don't answer that." She says before they could answer......" Tell me, which one of you came up with the idea of visiting poor Missy? " She air quotes.

"My mom says it's rude to not visit your friends at their time of need. " Says the other man, I'm guessing is called Jinxing....." So it's you?" She eyes the poor man. I stare contently at that woman as she lectures the two, making my mind wonder who the man next to her was.

He was dressed like some kind of K-pop idol with makeup evident on his face. He looked at that woman occasionally as if he were staring at a treasure. SHE WAS....STILL IS BUT DEADLY..... The chairman catches me staring and says while stroking his chin, "Missy here…..is a real catch, fascinates many.. Including me, to be honest. "Yeah, but I'd be careful if I were you....they tend to bite. " I say lazily and make my way out the door, not ready to hear whatever insult that woman was ready to hurl at me.

The chairman joins me outside a few minutes later, I tell him that I was ready to buy the damn place....without Lekai's consent because something interesting just popped up, and I'm going to need this hospital to carry out my revenge...... Lekai can bloody wait for all I care. The little shit owes me this!

As I ride back home, I'm intrigued to turn the car around and go demand answers as to why she left me back then, the real reason....but I don't because I figured I'll have plenty of time to do so and I'll see to it that she regrets what she did! I take out a cigarette and let it consume me as I try to think of anything, but that night.

...The night, 5 years ago...

...I promised her that I'll win the championship for the best male shooter for her... She never showed up to cheer me on, but that was OK. Maybe she had something to do. As soon as I received my price, I ran to her dormitory to tell her that I won.....I was surprised to see her sitted on the steps. Was she waiting for me? Did she know I won? I sneak up to her and cover her eyes in a playful manner, "Guess who it is?"...

She sighs and removes my hands, "Why are you so childish, Ru Han? " I ignore her , though it does hurt a bit...."Baby, look....I won, I won for you. " She gets up and steps away...."For me? Hmmm....Ru Han, are you being for real right now? How is that for me ?" She says with annoyance. I walk the few steps to her and take her hand in mine, " I promise I'd win for you... Remember?" She removes her hand from mine, and I'm stuck staring at my empty hand, "Whatever....anyway, I have to tell you something......I'm going abroad to study in France..."

It takes a moment for it to sink in ,I drop my troffy as I go in to grab her hand, " What??! But we agreed to go to the same university together... Don't you remember? You said you'd marry me after we graduate...and....and have kids." She sneers and pushes me away, "You can stay here and get married and have kids in a shitty small house with a job that pays you average.....you stay if you want....I have dreams Ru Han, and one of them is to be filthy rich and I'm not going to let some high-school relationship ruin that!"

She goes around and takes her bags and suitcase that I never notice and stops in front of me. "Now don't act as if we had something serious going on Ru Han.......(We did.....or was it just me? )... Get a hold of yourself and move on, make something out of yourself....you can't rely on shooting forever." Tears finally roll down my face .....I'm unable to speak, but I force myself to say her name, "Marcela...you-" She cuts me off, "What? Ru Han, how old are you, huh? You believe anything a 16-year-old says ....if I say my dad is Elon Musk.. you might as well believe that, huh? Grow up, ok.....be a man for once. You're lowkey acting like a sissy right now!"

My heart aches at her words, I step back unconsciously causing my whole body to fall down as I miss a step.....I look up at her in disbelief, trying to come back to reality because this was not real and she'll never say such things to me....but I was wrong...it is real. She looks at me with disdain," Just look at you, you're pathetic, Ru Han!"........She takes her things and walks away without looking back at me........
