I'm glancing at my watch, annoyed that I still have another hour to go before I leave this shitty place. The hospital's chairman greedily brags about how this hospital could not survive without him as he shows me around. I pretend to ask questions like, "Do people actually leave this hospital, or do they just wait to die?" He smiles and avoids the questions with why I was interested in buying the damn place.

I wasn't......I was fuckin checking the place out for Lekai.......a friend of mine. What I knew was that he planned on demolishing this place after buying it to build some sort of mall-spa or whatever. My phone rings, and I quickly answer it, thankful for the distraction, "So how's it, is it big enough for my mall?" Lekai beams from the other side of the phone, letting me know that he's really having a good time in Korea.

"I don't know, he's showing me around the hospital....inside." He jolts up, which I guess as he cusses out from spilling his drink. "The fuck you doing inside? I'm not buying the damn hospital but the land Ru Han.....tell that motherfucker to show you outside!" I smile awkwardly, as a few nurses pass by, trying to hide the fact that I'm being scolded.

"Would they fucking let you buy the damn place if they knew you were planning on demolishing it?" I ask in a low voice. He goes quiet for a few seconds, "You're right , but a clean freak like you actually got inside a mental hospital?.......aren't you afraid to go mad, bro?"

"It's not a contagious disease, Lekai, or a disease for that matter....and besides, if I don't go inside, they'll think we're not serious buyers." The chairman comes up to me, ignoring the fact that I'm on a call...." Would you like to see some of our c-a-l-m patients?" He emphasizes on the word "calm" to let me know it's the harmless ones.

I nod unwillingly and hang up on Lekai to follow him, we go through a bunch of rooms with mostly grown men acting like kids.....he notices my boredom and tries conversing with me. We come to a corner room, and my heart starts racing. Was I hearing things, or did I just hear that woman's voice? I slowly open while the chairman talks to a doctor passing by, I prepare myself for it ....honestly, nothing could've.

She's sitting on the bed in a hospital gown....my eyes could not believe that after so many years of not seeing each other, this would be the day?......my mind races to questions like what happened to her? Why was she in a mental hospital?

A man walks up to her, handing her a glass of water. She glares at him and pouts like a child, showing off their closeness. The man sighs and pats her head ..... She rolls her eyes and he pulls her into a hug.... Tell me why I felt tempted to cut that man's arms off, for touching a woman that heartlessly abandoned me?

The chairman walks up to me, asking me why I wasn't going in, catching that woman's attention and whoever that man was to her. She looks at me in disbelief, with her mouth slightly parted, but I stare at her coldly with all pity gone as to why she's in a mental hospital. "Missy, what's going on.....why are you in here? As a patient?"

The chairman walks up to that woman while I remain still with my eyes glued on her. She breaks our gaze and looks up at the chairman, who was slightly showing guanine concern for her. "Umm, I…. I- Haru confused this hospital with a normal one." Haru??? I sneer.

"You passed out, I didn't know what to do, and this was the closest hospital....." The chairman let's out a laugh, "You're lucky you work here, Missy." I sound the unfamiliar name out, "Missy " apparently aloud as they all turn to me.

"You know her?" I look at her and back to the chairman, " No, how could I possibly know such a woman. " I say with disgust. She raises her eyebrows and repeats what I said, "Such a woman? Is Mister Han an expert at knowing what type of person a stranger is?"

Silence falls upon us, as she glares up at me with her big brown eyes.... And for the first time I notice that she's no longer the same little girl, my little girl who used to beg me to buy her ice lollies. Her features are more feminine and damn..even in her state she was still so fucking breathtaking........ Fuck you Marcela!
