I'm being awakened by a strange noise from my kitchen, I get up and take a hairdryer ready to maul whoever was in there. I take cautious steps towards the kitchen only to find my flatmate, Haru. "It's you , how are you here? What happened to your trip?" He jolts to me and embraces me in a deep hug, I let him because Haru would never hug me unless something was really bothering him.

Haru and I met back in college. Unlike every shitty person out there him and I actually got along probably because we're literally the same person, but different genders. He let's go of me and blurts it out with tears in his eyes, " He's getting married!" I bulge out my eyes in shock and lead him to the couch to sit." You mean Siyan? But I thought you two got along well?

Siyan is the CEO of Star Entertainment, where Haru was recruited to be part of a boy group called Golden. Haru was evidently gay and came out back in college. Unfortunately, Siyan never came out, and no one knew that he was gay or dating Haru.....well, except for me, of course.

Haru shows me a post on his phone announcing that Siyan was getting engaged to some actress from a rich family or something. I look at him and grab his shoulders, "fuck Siyan! He can go marry that boring actress....come on, I'll take you to a club where you can find many hot guys." I smile widely at him, waiting for his response, but he just stares back at me, letting himself fall on the couch.

"I'm guessing that's a yes?" He let's out a stifled moan, " I don't know, Missy..... I can't see myself being with another person right now." I get up pacing around, " Ok, then let's crash his engagement party and expose him.....he'll have no choice but to call it all off." Haru looks at me with annoyance, "Yeah, and after that, he'll end the both of us."

The elite , (22:00 pm)

I'm grinning at Haru as I hand our IDs to the security man. He rolls his eyes as I hook my arm in his.......annoyed that I dragged him along. As we walk to the bar area, I pat his hand, " My treat, you can even order a male model if you want, OK.....just forget about that jerk." Haru makes a disgusted face and finally smiles. We sit at the bar, and I order Daiquiris for the both of us, a mixture of light rum, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

Haru turns to me, "How are you, btw? Are the dreams worsening?" I freeze at his question and try to play it off by waving my hand when he takes it and looks at me dead in the eye." I'm serious Missy, these dreams are draining you....you need help Ok, you can't keep bottling it up. " I take a deep swing from my glass and excuse myself to the restroom with, " You're worrying too much.... I'm Ok, really."

I was not ok........I'm breathing heavily, I try not to think about him... the way he haunts me every time in my dreams. I tell myself that he's dead and will never hurt me again, but something tells me I'm wrong. Truth is, I don't know if I'll ever heal from what he did to me...... I try rinsing my face with cold running water to control my breathing, but it doesn't help. Shxt! I cuss out, was I going to have a panic attack in a club? I take out my phone to dial Haru, but I drop it as my vision starts going blurry.

I stumble out of the restroom into a hallway and try making my way back to Haru. "Ooohh, look what we have here?" I bump into a group of guys gazing up at me like hungry dogs....I try stilling myself to stand my ground....heck no was I going to let another man hurt me ever again , "Go away!" I shout. One of them licks his lips in a suggestive manner and reaches a hand out to me.

Before he could reach me, Haru appears and kicks his hand away.... They scurry away as he holds me in his arms, " You can't act tough all your life, Missy." As his last words sink in, my body finally gives in and passes out.
