Chapter 5

I went to the bedroom, leaving them alone.But I wasn't really feeling sleepy, I just watched some movies and fell asleep.

Next morning, I went around the lounge of the suite. I saw that Yamato had left and Katie was sleeping on the couch. So I went to the kitchen to make scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes, only to find we didn't have anything in the kitchen except the utensils. So I went to the nearby supermarket by searching it on the google. While shopping there I met Yua again, the little girl. She ran towards me when she saw me. "Onee-san we meet again"

I said, " Oh yes, sweetheart, by the way where are your parents?". She points toward a woman in her early 30s. We both head towards her. I ask the woman" Excuse me? Are you Yua's mother?". She replies" Hai, ah yes and you are?". I say" I'm Anna. I'm new here. I came for work."She said" Oh if you need any help you can ask me. I would love to help. I used to live here."Then I asked" You used to?". She replied" Yeah, now we have settled in California, we come here every summer to spend with my parents."Then we had few conversations, exchanged number and parted.

By the time I was home, Katie was up" Where did you go so early?". I just lifted my bag full of groceries to show her. She said" scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes?". I smiled"yes, milady" and we both laughed.

" Katie get ready!! we are going out"

"where?"

"You'll know when we get there."

I went to my room to see I still haven't unpacked my suitcase, So I start unpacking quickly since I know Katie would take a while to get ready. While unpacking I found my handmade cup which I made with Alan here. I brought here for when he forgets my face, at least he would have the set of other cup. After a while I have unpacked most of my stuffs and took my yellow t-shirt and a pair of jeans to get dressed.

Katie yells" I'm ready! Are you done?"

I shout back" Coming! In two minutes!"

We get down and book a cab. On our way there I asked her how was the movie night with the hot guy? She blushed to say I think I like him Nana. I smirked"of course; you do. I saw the way you open your mouth when you saw him."

"Oh my god! Really?! Did he see that?". I laughed"no, silly." She sighed in relief.

We reached Kaguya's Yakimono which in Google translate says" kaguaya's pottery". Google translate saves me in all the foreign countries I have traveled so far. When we get into the store, I zone out near the staircase where I tripped when I came last time. I fell there, twisted and sprained my ankle. Alan laughed at first and scolded me. Then when he saw me frown, then carried me all the way in. The old man shopkeeper thought we were acting lovey-dovey. He was continuously telling me in Japanese, don't leave such a sweet boyfriend, men like him are very rare. Of course I realize it now, people like Alan are very rare, they come in our life only once in a lifetime but leave a great impact.
