Martin rushed Kaya back to the pack's mansion, summoning an emergency meeting with Ryker and Lila.
"Astrid's threat is real – Lames fuels her rebellion," briefed his pack. "We must prepare defense strategies."
Ryker spoke up, "Alpha, there's something you should know. Something we've hidden from you."
Martin's eyes narrowed. "What secrets have you kept, Ryker?"
Ryker glanced nervously at Lila before continuing:
"Lila's family... they were killed by Lames's followers years ago. Lila survived only because we found her in time."
Kaya gasped – this revelation explained Lila's loyalty to Martin and hatred towards Lames.

As they strategized, a sudden blast rocked the mansion – Astrid's rebels had arrived early.
Kaya drew upon her inherited magic, unleashing powerful blasts to repel the attackers. Martin transformed into his wolf form, tearing into rebels alongside Ryker and Lila.
Lames emerged from shadows, eyes blazing with dark magic:
