Martin drove Kaya to his family's ancestral mansion on Makwood City's outskirts – a grand estate shrouded in mystery and ancient magic.

Inside, Kaya met Lames Stone – Martin's brother and the polar opposite:

* Lames exuded charisma, his smile hinting at secrets and danger.

* His eyes seemed to bore into Kaya's soul, as if sizing her up.

"Lames, leave Kaya alone. She's still adjusting."

Lames chuckled, his gaze never leaving Kaya's face: "Oh, I'm merely curious about Martin's attachment to this... fragile creature. Tell me, Kaya – do you know what Martin truly is?"

Kaya hesitated, unsure how much Lames knew about her awareness of Martin's alpha status and supernatural nature. Lames continued:

"Martin isn't just any alpha – he's the rightful heir to our family's dark legacy... and I'm the one who should claim it."

Kaya's mind reeled from Lames's revelation about Martin's family legacy. She felt like a pawn in their supernatural power struggle.

That night, Martin took Kaya on a patrol through Makwood City's outskirts – monitoring rogue supernatural activity. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadow:

* A female werewolf with piercing green eyes and a raven hair – Astrid.

* Her aura radiated danger and rebellion.

* Martin growled low in his throat, recognizing Astrid as a former pack member turned into rogue.

Astrid sneered at Martin: "Still playing alpha hero, Stone? Newsflash: your pack's is already crumbling. Lames whispers promises of freedom – and power."

Kaya sensed Astrid's words struck Martin heart deeply. Astrid turned to her:

"And you, little hybrid – Lames claims you're the one who is the key to unlocking ancient magic. Care to join me... and discover your true potential?"

Martin positioned himself between Astrid and Kaya:

"Astrid, leave her out of this. Your rebellion ends tonight."

Astrid laughed, summoning dark energy:

"We'll see about that, alpha. My allies will be arriving at dawn – to destroy your pack and claim Makwood City completely."
