Sophia meets Joe

Sophia who was running kept looking back occasionally making sure she wasn’t followed. She breathed a sigh of relief when she didn’t find anyone . She was rushing to get a cab when she suddenly bumped into someone. Looking down she saw a little boy about five years old on the ground, her eyes widened. “ Hey I’m sorry! “ are you alright”?. She scooped the boy up in her arms. The little boy didn’t speak, he kept looking at Sophia, blinking his big round eyes. “ She’s really pretty” he thought. “ I’m alright put me down” he said smiling at Sophia. Sophia chuckled and placed the boy back on the ground. “ Aww you’re so cute!”. She squealed pinching his cheeks. The little boy beamed his eyes twinkling “ And you’re also very pretty” he said shyly. Sophia laughed “ Thank you”. The little boy suddenly held Sophia’s hand. “ Miss do you have a boyfriend”? he asked tilting his head to the side. Sophia was taken aback by his question but she answered anyway. “ Erm, no I don’t”. The little boy’s eyes lit up. “ Then can you date my Uncle”? he asked with a mischievous smile. Sophia’s brows creased “ You want me to date your Uncle”! Ske asked just to be sure of the boy’s request. The boy nodded vigorously. “ Aren’t you too young to be saying such things mmh”? “ And besides your Uncle should be the one to choose a woman for himself not you”!. The little boy sighed dejectedly “ You are right but he doesn’t even get close to women. “ My dad once told me that a girl broke his heart once, maybe that’s why he doesn’t like any of them”. Sophia laughed so hard that her stomach hurt. The little boy was really funny. “ You know too much” she said caressing his head. “ Forget about my Uncle, why don’t you marry me instead”? he flashed Sophia a cute smile. Sophia raised a brow in amusement “ I thought you wanted me for your Uncle”? The little boy scoffed “ I’m more handsome and rich than my Uncle” he hugged Sophia’s legs “ my Uncle is very ugly you won’t even wanna date him and he doesn’t even like women so I don’t want you to suffer ”. he added. “ Sorry Uncle” he whispered. “ Ugh this boy is going to give me a headache” she cried. She bent to the boy’s height. “ Why don’t you let think about it first”?. She badly wanted to go home and have something to eat. The little smiled “ Ok”. “ My name is Joseph but you can call me Joe” he said. “ Ok Joe am Sophia” she winked at him. Joe blushed shyly. Sophia kissed his cheeks “ Bye Joe! “ see you around” She waved her hands at him and went away. Getting into a cab she went straight to Winda’s apartment. Joe kept staring at Sophia’s cab that he failed to see someone behind him. “ Joe ? What are you doing here?. Hearing the voice, Joe flinched. “Uncle Keith”! he muttered meekly. Keith hummed “ I asked you a question!”. Joe blinked his eyes pitifully at Keith. “ I came here looking for you” he said pouting his lips. Keith rolled his eyes “ And why is that?. Joe smiled “ Because I missed you. Keith held Joe by his collar and threw him to Simon. “ Simon call his bodyguard to take him away.” he ordered his voice deep and musky. Simon nodded. Joe frowned “ You can’t do that to me Uncle Keith! “ I came here all the way for you and this is how you treat me”? Humph! ungrateful Uncle”! Keith wasn’t in the mood to entertain his nephew. He glared at him and walked away.
