Chapter 05

The pain which has been lingering on her since two years after  remembering it made her  sorrow increased inside decreased . She had thought that  might  it will help her to remove the weight from her heart after sharing . But nothing sort of happened like that and now she is feeling more alone and  depressed. She wished if she could remove those two  years from her life. Then might her life would be easier. But unfortunately it can't happen. She can't correct her life. So unwillingly she has to stay with those dreadful memories whether she  wants or not. She wipes her tears and crossed the  road holding her child in her arms " who is looking at his mother silently.  Now he only she has in her life. Before she had hope that might shivaay will be back to her. And might her life goes back on the right track. But she was wrong. He  can never be part of her life.  Infect might he was never been.  It's just her illusion that he could had. These thoughts brings tears in her eyes and she sat on the sofa tiredly holding her child her arms. 

On the other side

Shivaay  don't know but since he fired  anika , he is not in peace. He is trying to think that whatever he has done " it was right.   She didn't deserve to be work in his company after being such an  irresponsible.  But still it's not letting him to be calm and he is feeling restless and it's affecting is work as well. 

God you have gone crazy shivaay. Stop thinking about that stupid girl. He groans pushing the files away resting his hand on his forehead trailing his fingers trying to erase the  pain.  But it increased more  when his phone started ringing.

Now who's calling me. He huffs  picking up his phone and next second he straighten up when he saw mr woods calling him.  He didn't expect him calling after their heated up conversation.  He had  thought  that things have been ended there. But now seeing his phone flashing made him perplexed. 

Hello mr oberoi I'm sorry for today's fiasco. I guess we jumped on the conclusion so fast. Your  Secretary indeed had sent  the email. It's Just my manager mistakenly  didn't see it.  I'm sorry for all consequences which we caused. And for that  I'm really shameful.  Please if you would forgive  me and Honour me to do business with you.   I really don't wanna lose the opportunity to work with you because of silly mistake.  Hearing him shivaay bewildered and instant regret hit him for being such an asshole. Might if he would had listened to anika then that time only things would had been corrected. but he was too blind in anger that he didn't listen to her and vented out all his anger.

Can I talk to you later mr woods. He stutter rubbing his forehead in tension. 

Yeh sure. Saying this mr woods cut the call while shivaay started trailing in the  room having deep remorse in his heart for yelling at her like that.  He agreed she's still in learning process. And  little slow. But whatever he was telling her. She was learning quickly. Infect she was really good in handling while  in the meeting with mr woods. But he is such an idiot that as  he got to know " they don't want to do business with him. He screamed at her and asked her to Leave his office. Now how will he compassionate for that.  How will he seek her back.  He agreed , she was just an employ and like her he will get many in none second. 

Infect might better one  as well. But still whatever he done to her. He is not kind of that person "  who would let it go after hurting someone.  He will seek forgiveness and that's only possible if he return her job back. He exhale a breath and immediately grab his phone to make a call.

In morning

Whole night she couldn't sleep  thinking about

Yesterday scenario. Whenever she closed her eyes. She remembers how he yelled at her and  ousted her out of his  office.  She agreed he is  arrogant snd rude not like before an innocent child. But still it hurt her so deep seeing him  humiliating her like that infront of his whole office. But well  now thinking about it won't change anything. So better if she forget it and move on.  Might it wasn't in her destiny  to be with him. He was just her  past and will remain past only. But that can't stop her life right. She has to think about her child and herself.   He needs a proper life to live. And for that his mother has to  work hard and let go of her past.  If she kept herself busy thinking about him then she will ruin her peace as well as his son's life. 

Let's go baby. Mamma has to go for interview and you will stay with  Mrs Peter till then. She  picks him up in her arms and place kiss on his small nose making him sad realising yet again his mother is leaving him.

I'm sad as well my child. But I don't have any other choice. If I  won't go then how will I earn money and fulfil all your needs. So please forgive your mother and try to  be supportive towards her. Hearing his mother he coo and snuggled with her keeping his face on her chest.

My baby.  She caresses his small head and kiss his forehead again and again. Suddenly she alerted when her house bell rang.

I think Mrs Peter is here. Saying this she went towards  the door and open it. but  next second her frown thicken when she saw two men standing infront of her holding their arms infront having stern faces.

Who are you ?? She asked looking at them tip to toe.

Wr are here to pick you up. Shivaay sir has ordered. You should be in office in next twenty minutes.

Wait what ?? She baffled after hearing him.

Yes mam. The guy said keeping his head Straight.

But why. I've been fired by him yesterday. Then what does he want now.

I don't know mam. You are coming with us and that's final. Seeing his ordering tone anika grit her teeth and shook her head in disapproval.

After whatever happened yesterday. I'm not coming back.  Tell your boss he can get another secretary for him. Who  should be more  educated and  responsible for him. I guess I'm not suitable for  that job. Anyways if you are done then can you please move.  I'm getting late for something important . Saying this she shoot glare at them and brushed passed not before  locking the door behind.

On the other side

Anger raised in shivaay when his men informed him they she refused to come. He thought ,,as she will heard that he wants her back on her position. She will come running and will join her work. But instead she showed the attitude and refused to join back.

Did you tell her that I've forgiven her for her mistakes and wants her back to work. He asked grounding his teeth trying to control his anger.

Yes sir. We did. But she said she is not coming back and you can hire another person who matches your standards and the job. Shivaay closed his eyes rubbing his forehead and stood up walking towards a big window from where he can see all the city ...

Fine. You may leave. He orders them thrusting his hands in his pocket thinking something in his brain which surely gonna affect anika.

On the other side

Sure mr and please say hello to mr oberoi. I'm big fan of his work. . As anika entered in interviewer's room. Frown settled on her forehead hearing oberoi word from his mouth.

Are you miss anika ??,, the guy said Standing up on his feet looking at her out of curiosity.

Yes I'm. She chimed holding her bag strap in her hand looking at him with confusion.

I'm sorry miss. We can't have your interview. When you already bind with an oberoi company. Right now only we got the call from mr oberoi's manager. And he said. If you won't come in the office in next half an hour then you have to pay 50000 dollars for breaking your contract.

Whatttt ??? she widen her eyes not able to believe what she heard.

You better go miss. Before it's too late. You don't know what they are capable of. If they can figure out where you are coming for interview. Then I guess they can do many things. The guy said shrugging his shoulders forming his lips in thin smile.

Anika closed her eyes fisting up her hand and stormed away from there burning in pure hate for shivaay oberoi. Who first fired her and now behaving like he owns her. But she is not one of them who would play like his puppets . She knows how to fix the brainless man like him.

In oberoi company

Anika stop you seems angry. Please don't go like this. Sir will be so pissed if you went in the conference room like this. He is in meeting man. Please listen to me. Ria follows her behind like a scared cattrying to stop her. But anger is so much overpowering her that nothing she is thinking expect to scream at shivaay who is trying to play with her life.

Anika listen to me anika. Ria raises her hand to get grip on her. But it was to late and she already has pushed the door in screaming his name

Shivaayyyyy oberoiiiiiiii .....

Hearing her thunderous voice shivaay turned  and a frown settle on his forehead seeing her  burning in rage. He can literally see through her eyes how angry she is   right  now. and somewhere he is finding it cute and adorable instead getting angry. If someone else would had been on her place. Then till now he would had been dragged away by his bodyguards. But her cuteness just spelled him and he is just staring at her calmly leaning on his chair.

How dare you to pull such stunt with me.  Yesterday only you fired me and said I don't need to come back. but today morning out of no where you sent your man to  order me to come back to  your office like nothing happened at all. . What do you think of me oberoi. Am I your puppet  that I would do whatever you say to me after forgetting everything ,, which you pull through yesterday.    She shout looking at him with pure hate which she never thought that she Will feel  one day for him. But today whatever he has done to her. It seriously pursuing her  to hate this  particular man. 

Can you please leave the room. Seems like miss anika wants to talk to me. All people who were sitting watching at her with  open mouth in out of shock. They all nods their head on their boss's  order and walked out from there leaving shivaay and anika alone . .

Could you please close the door for me.  He asked her getting up from his seat having smug smile on his face. Which anika so wanna wipe it off  by punching his handsome face. . 

I'm not doing it. She rasp folding her arms looking away. 

Ok. He smiles and itself closed the door and then stood Infront of her having his hands in his pant  pockets.

So what were you talking  about?? . I didn't hear you properly. He smirk making her grit her teeth.  She can't believe"  he can behave  dumb like this after playing with her. First he yelled at her  and then fired her. And today he is behaving   like nothing sort of happened like that and expecting her to come back and start work under him.

I don't wanna work with you mr oberoi... so stop pursuing me to come back like this. Moreover you itself had said that you don't want irresponsible person like me in your office. Then why did  you changed your mind out of sudden. And pressurising me to come. Back. 

Because your contract isn't finish.  Until six months you have to work here whether you want or not. And if  you try to leave. Then you have to pay 50000 dollar fine to the company. which I guess you can't afford at all. So better if you listen to me and join the work again.  Seeing him behaving casually anika is feeling like to grasp his these thick  Jelled up hair and pulled them out of the roots . She can't believe a person can change so quickly. Till yesterday same person had ordered her to leave his office and told her to not come back ever. And now he is asking her to join back which doesn't make sense at all .

What made your mind change  mr oberoi.   I don't think so all of sudden you would want me back.  I'm sure there's something you are hiding from me.she asked looking straight in his blue eyes folding her  arm making him little nervous.  It's first time he is experiencing  little jittery meeting his eyes with someone like this and that someone is none other than his secretary who joined his office before few days.

I'm not capable of answer to you  miss anika. So better  don't waste your time on it and do whatever  I say.  For six months you have to work in this company whether you want or not. As I know neither you will able to  join another office nor you can pay me 50000 dollars.  Hmm. Saying this  he  Sneers and brushed passed by her leaving her all annoyed and irritated seeing him behaving such absurd.

Get me the German delegates files. I'm waiting for you in office. .....

Arghhhhh anika  stomp her feet  in infuriation and left the conference room feeling helpless in all this.   Last night only she had planned that she won't see his face. And will let go her past. But instead that yet again she is standing in his office and unwillingly going to work under him.

After sometime

Shivaay can feel her burning in anger near him.   Her body language is telling  that  she doesn't want to be here.  But because of not having anything control in her hands " she has to be here without her will. And  it's somewhere  pursuing him to laugh at her condition. But he is somehow controlling himself  and maintaining his poker face scrolling the file. .

Here it's done ...  I've signed it.  Just call them for tomorrow's meeting. We will sort further things with them.

Fine.  She  take files in her hand and about to head out  when he calls her back making her exasperated.

Whattt ??, she snarled.

You can not talk to me like that. He chimed giving her stern look. 

Anika exhale the long breath and nods her head.

I'm sorry ,, what is it. What you wanna talk about. She asked softly keeping her anger aside. As  she has no any other choice except following his orders. . Unfortunately if she didn't ,, then she has to pay 50000 dollars which she don't have in her bank account right now. .

Shivaay lean on the chair poking  his tongue from his cheek and speak. 

I want you to do something for me.

And what it is?? She frown.

I want you to arrange date for me and my fiancé.  Call a finest restaurant in the city and book a table for us.  Hearing him her face colour fade away and she went in deep thoughts looking nothing in particular.

Where you got lost.  ??? Haven't you heard what I said.  He speaks bringing her back in earth.

Yeah sure I'll do it.   Saying this she walked  out from there silently leaving him perplexed with her behaviour. But he shrugs his over thinking and got busy in his work. 

In her cabin

She rest her head on the glass table and closed her eyes tiredly. She can't believe one day will come when she would  itself  plan a date for her own husband"  with another woman.  She had dreamed about all these things for her own self. She had thought that when he will be fine. She will enjoy her life fully with him. But all her wishes got tarnished and now she is doing all this for him to settle down with  another woman. She remembered how he had promised her that he will never forget her. She has been  thrusted into his heart to soul. But it was all lie. Not only he forgot her love. Infect He forgotten her whole existence and now she is nothing but his employ ,, who works under him.  

Annie oh thank  god  you are back.  You don't how much I was sad when  yesterday he fired you. Hearing ria's voice Anika immediately wipe her tears and passed her tight smile.

Hey are you  alright ??, did he yell at  you again  ?? she asked resting her hand on her shoulder.

No he didn't. Don't worry. I'm fine.  It's just I've to  handle all this work and has to plan his date with his fiance. That's why I'm little overwhelmed.

Oh don't worry you will  manage it.don't need to be upset like this. And if you feeling little extra stressed. Then I can you help you.  It's not big deal. Here give me these files. I'll sort them out. You see other half and take care of his date. I'm sure if his fiance liked your arrangements. Then might he get more impress by you. She winks making her smile little.

Yeh sure. She chimed looking down. 

Anyways I should leave.  Don't want the boss to catch me here like this. She waves her hand and left from there leaving her with messed up brain.  

After couple of minutes

She managed to come out of her foggy thoughts and   Slid her seat near the computer to resume her work when her landline rang.   She looked through the glass and   found her boss eyeing her to pick up the phone.

Yes sir "" she asked looking at him

I've ordered a dress and some other stuff online.  So I want you to go and pick them up from the store. I'll mail you the address right away.  Saying this he cut the call and In none second a  address been forwarded  towards her making her sigh.

God is there anything else left  to break in me that you are coming with  the new new plans. She groan grabbing her bag and scarf from the  chair and walk out  from there mumbling things with herself.  Soon she hail texi herself and left for her destination.

After sometime

Texi stop and she got down after paying the bill and head towards the address which he had messaged him. 

Where's this shop where's it. She is walking around looking for the particular shop when suddenly her feet came to halt,,  while her eyes widen  when she saw Thea with someone  else and not only that she is kissing  the guy who is standing back facing her.

What the actually  fudge.....
