Anika it's not in my hands anymore. I've been trying my best to get some help from NGO,s. But right now no one is coming ahead to help you with this big amount. You need nearly 80000 dollars for your mother treatments. and I guess it's almost impossible to do anything. I wish if I could do something free for you. But it's impossible. I can't do it. The medicines are so expensive and I don't have that kind of money which I'll use to help you. Doctor said holding the 19 years old anika's hand , who is crying her eyes bawls out begging him to save her mother, who is dying inside because of her deadly disease which is slowly slowly eating her alive.

I don't wanna see my mother dying doctor. please do something.i don't have any one else in my life except mama. Please help me. I promise I would do anything for you. Just help me to get my mother back. Please doc please. She sobs with her thick hiccups making doctor feel helpless. It's been almost five months he met this girl when she had came into his hospital with her mother. She was so thin and in fragile state. But despite thinking about herself. She was working her ass off to pay her mother's bills. Which she was somehow arranging it. But now her mother needs  an operation and for that she needs a good big amount of money ,, which he knows she can't afford at all. He had tried to help her by connected with some NGO,s and other sources of charity. But no one is ready to help her with such big amount.

Don't be disheartened. I'm sure there will be someone who will be ready to help you. Just faith on god. Their conversation was in half way only that when someone knocked on the door making them stop in middle.

I should leave. Anika wipe her tears and left from there without sparing glance at the woman ' who was standing ducked up in proper designer outfit having poker face.

Mrs oberoi "you came I was waiting for you only. Doctor khan immediately changed his tone and passed her his pleasant smile which the lady didn't reciprocated and sat on the chair resting her glasses on the glass table.

Who was that girl. And why was she crying??? . Doctor,s frown thicken hearing her  and he look at her with amusement.

Why are you asking for her??? He asked settling on the chair.

I just had heard when I came that she wants money. Doctor fix his white coat and nods his head instantly.

Yes she does. Her mother is not well. And she needed money for her operation. If we didn't operate her next 2 days then she might die. Hearing him lady lean on the chair and tap her long nails on the hand rest.

I can help her. If she wants to. But for that she has to do something. Doctor bewildered for few seconds snd then he understood where this conversation is going.

I'll talk to her. Lady nods her head and look through the glass from where she can clearly see anika crying sitting on the corner.

Wedding but with whom??, anika fell in shock when doctor told that rich lady's offer to her.

Yes wedding. She wants you to marry her son. And in return she will give you 80000 dollars . I think it's only way to save your mother anika. Otherwise I don't think anyone else is coming to help you.

But I don't know the guy and .....

Do you have any other option anika. Doctor interrupted making her quiet for few seconds.

No ,, her voice crack having moist eyes.

Then I think you should do it. Anika bite her inner cheek controlling her sobs and then shook her head letting her eyes flood up with the tears.

Fine I'll do it. I'll do for my mama. She whispered wiping her face fidgeting with her fingers.

That's great. I'll let Mrs oberoi know. Saying this he immediately left from there leaving anika scared and confused on the same time .....

Present ....

Here wipe your face. Receptionist said passing tissue to anika bringing her back to earth from her past. She blink her eyes and wonder around her gaze realising she is still in the office which is belong none other than to her husband.

Thanks,, she murmurs and wipe her face tucking her eyes down thinking about the moment when she had fell on the floor and he was right standing infront of her looking at her like he doesn't know her at all. But in actual he doesn't know her. He don't know ,who is she and what's her relationship with him . All she was a random girl who collided with him and fell on the floor.

Our boss is really strict. You should be thankful that he didn't say you anything for spilling his coffee which is literally his possession. Might today he was in good mood. That's why he didn't say anything. Otherwise you would had been got fired before you even start the job. Hearing her, anika Wipe the coffee from her eyes and look towards shivaay who sitting behind the glass wall which is separating his cabin and other side of office.

I should leave now. It was nice meeting you. She pass tight smile to the lady and left from there without realising someone is tucking his eyes on her back.

On the other side

After dismissing the meeting shivaay lean on the chair and closed his eyes tiredly. But to his surprise as his eyelids got shut ,,that unknown girl face snapped infront lf him. He don't know but he felt a strong connection with her. He felt  like he knows her and she somewhere belongs to him. He wished if he could had seen her face clearly. But unfortunately because of coffee ,he couldn't and it's somewhere making him feel regret.. which he doesn't know why is he  experiencing like this .

Aww really you got the job Mrs Peter squeal and hugged anika earning smile from her.

Yes Mrs Peter and all Thanks to you. I guess if you won't had been there then I won't had got the job.

Oh dear don't need to thank me. I just did for myself so that I could spend more time with the zayaan. She winks making anika chuckle.

Yeh right. Anyways I should leave now. It's getting dark. Will meet you tomorrow morning. Saying this she bid bye to her and left taking her son in her arms. Who immediately snuggled with her having cutest pout on his face.

My son. She rubs his back and went inside her flat. As she closed the door her tears gushed out of her eyes and all the pain which she was bottling up it started coming out one by one. Today she broke into pieces when he didn't recognise her. She felt like she is standing infront of totally a stranger, who doesn't know her at all. Past two years which she spent with him,, it was too good to forget. Literally in few days only he had became so important to her more than anyone. She just loved him so dearly and took care of him like a little child. But what she got in end ,,nothing but loneliness. Now he doesn't remember her and she is nothing but one of the stranger to him in this whole world. Who has nothing to do with him.

I saw your daddy today zayoo. I saw him today. He has changed so much. I couldn't fathom that he is same man , whom I knew before few months. He didn't recognise me baby. He just looked at me for few seconds and then passed by me randomly.your mama was so sad to seeing his behaviour baby. You don't know how hard time I faced to not hug him and break down into his arms. Today I missed my old shivaay so much. I wish if I could go back into the past and then stop the time there. Saying this she burst into thick hiccups hugging her tiny son who is sleeping soundly holding her shirt in his small fist.

Now we have no one baby. It's just me and mama. No one is coming to protect us. No one is gonna tell us that he is with us and we don't need to worry about anything. Just you and mama. She sobs kissing her son's soft cheek ,who open his eyes slightly and then closed them again snuggling with her. Anika caresses his head and peck his forehead letting him have his sleep as much as he could

This is the papers you have sign. It's 2 years contract. In those two years you will live with my son. Do everything ,which is required being a wife. You won't say no for anything. Willingly or unwillingly you have to obliged whatever is needed . No matter what happens. In those years you will live with him . And not only that. These two years you will stay in my house. You won't have single connection with outer world except meeting your mother after her operation. After that you will bind with my son and forget about everything. Understand.. Lady said in her thick yet stern voice making anika shiver little. She is having second thoughts about it. She don't know but she is feeling like something is not right and she gonna ruin her life with her own hands. But thinking about her mother's condition ,,she don't have any other choice except accepting the offer of this lady. If she didn't accept it then she will lose her mother. which she can't afford it to happen. She knows her mother will hate her for doing this. But having no option ,she has to sacrificed her life. Whether she wants or not. So without thinking anything she signed the papers with her squirming hands and passed the papers to the woman lifelessly.

Driver let's go. Hearing her anika widen her eyes and open her mouth to say something but before she does. Car drove away from there.

I needed to meet my mum. She said looking at the lady shockingly.

You can meet her tomorrow. But right now you need to be with your husband. The lady answered without looking at her.

But .... Anika try to argue. But one glare from the woman made her quiet and she hanged her head down in defeat fidgeting with her fingers in restlessness.

We have been reached. Get down. Lady announced getting down from the car following with anika who doesn't have any option except following her. As she step out , a gasp left from her mouth seeing the size of the house. Which is bigger than any stadium she assumed. She never thought that in few hours she would be landed in big mansion from a small kitchen sized apartment.

Will you move. Hearing the woman,s Rude voice ,she quires and started following her inside. As she step inside , she couldn't take her eyes off from the house which is shining in countless lights and a big chandelier in middle of the hall.

Who's she ??? Anika Immediatly comes back on earth when she heard a manly voice. She instantly stopped impressing from her surroundings  and followed the voice and find out it's not only one man but whole family members standing looking at her curiously.

It's anika Shivaay's wife. As that woman speak all the people gasp and look at her shockingly.

Are you serious mom. how's that possible. Same muscular man said sneering humourlessly.

I've said the truth. She is Shivaay's wife. He and she got married today only. She said showing the papers,  where not only anika's but that unknown man signs present as well. Which actually put anika in shock. As per as she knows , there's not her son in the hospital nor she met there with someone. then how come she got his sign already on the papers.

Have you gone mad Pinky. Do you know what's his condition is. Still you brought this girl here. A old lady screams which anika assumed she is the elder of the house.

Yes i know. That's why I brought her. He needs someone to take care of him. I can't relay him on nurses. I want someone with him 24/07 so that he could recover fast.

But pinky. Another lady in the family try to argue with her,  but she showed her hand and snapped her eyes at anika making her scared little.

Time to meet your husband. Saying this she clenches her arm and started dragging her towards upstairs. As much as anika is going near the room. Voices are increasing making her scared hell out of her.

Let's go inside ,,, for few seconds  pinky stand infront of the door and then pushes it revealing a man screaming lungs out of him in the clutches of nurses ,,who are trying to control him.  but it's getting really hard for them to do. Suddenly anika step back along with a pinky when the guy pushes nurses and throw whatever came in his hand towards  the door. Pinky somehow escaped but unfortunately it hit anika straight on her head....

Present

Anika sat up breathing heavily after having same nightmare which  she have everyday. She closed her eyes and shakes her head trying to remove the fear. But ends up feeling crying yet again. She take a shaky exhale and look towards her son ,, who is all awake moving his small legs and arms cooing  acutely.

Zayaan ... she forgot all her miseries getting his sight and immediately scooped him in her arms placing a soft kiss on his nose.

Good morning my little angel. She wishes him rubbing her nose with him earning a small giggle from him.

Aww seems like someone is in good mood today. She says taking him out holding him securely in her arms.

Baby coo and held her locket in his hand wondering what it is. Anika chuckle seeing his cute antics and sat on the sofa deciding to feed him ...

My son she whispered tracing her fingers on his forehead and peck his cheek letting him suck her breast  to erase his hunger. . After five minutes when she felt he is done filling his small tummy. , anika kept his head on her shoulder and made him burp...

Good boy. She made him face her and place soft soft kisses on his fluffy cheeks earning small giggles from him.  Suddenly she alerted and her all attention diverted  when someone rang her bell.

Seems like someone has came baby. Come let's check it. She got up from the sofa and went to open the door. 

You are not ready yet. Have you forgotten you have to be  in your work place  in next hour. Hearing Mrs Peter anika widen her eyes in shock and  mentally slapped herself for forgetting about her job. 

So sorry Mrs Peter. It just slipped out of my brain.  Can you please hold zayaan for a Minute. I'll just change my clothes quickly. 

Yah sure. Anika nods her head in thankful manners  and left immediately passing baby to Mrs Peter,  who sat on the sofa and started playing with little zayaan. Who is going well with Mrs Peter. Seems like he  has made his bound with her in a day only.

After couple of minutes

Anika come out Hurriedly and passed the baby bag to Mrs Peter.

I'm so sorry Mrs Peter for everything. Because if me you are feeling trouble. But I promise soon I'll fix my  schedule and  manage my routine on my own.

Don't worry dear.  I don't mind helping you. Moreover I've nothing to do whole day. So i guess at least I can keep zayaan. Mrs Peter said caressing zayaan's face.

Thank you Mrs Peter. Thanks alot. See you in evening.  She gave her quick hug as well as place kiss on her son's forehead and left from there. 

In office

As she kept her foot inside a long relaxing exhale  she left from her mouth trying to be confident. It's her first time in the job and she is feeling little scared. But she don't want her frighten state to affect her job. She wants herself to mingle with all these things as soon as possible. So that she could  become perfect in her job. As right now she don't have anyone  in her life to help her. So she itself has to be strong to handle  her life struggles.   

Oh thank god you have came. Where had you been. We have been waiting for you so  long. Just hurry up. Boss is in really bad mood.    Literally everyone are walking like a scared cats trying not to come infront of him.   Just be fast. You have loads of things to handle. The  receptionist lady blubbers constantly  dragging  anika along with making her hell confused with with her behaviour.

But what happened ??? Why he is in bad mood.  Anika inquiries trying to get  to know the matter. Bht instead telling her the lady brings her In the room   and made her sit on the chair ,where yesterday the mrs park was Sitting. who had taken her interview. Anika didn't know that in a day only she will get the cabin and not only that, same cabin which  is belong to the CEO's personal secretary.

These all the lists which you have to handle. and these files you have to go through and then give boss to sign on them . And after that you have to go through all the email and answer them whichever is pending to reply.  . And when you are done with That you need to make  the schedule of  boss and let him know about all the fixed meetings with our associates and business partners . And ..... .

Wait wait calm down. Don't blubber  things so fast.

Why I've to handle things of the boss when I'm here to work under Mrs park. And one more things Where's she and why I've been dumped on her seat.

Mrs park has gotten in a small incident at her home and she has broke her leg. and now she is not here until next two months. So being a second secretary you have to take over on all the things which she was doing.

Whatttt ,,,, anika gasp  not able believe whatever she heard. 

Yes ... you are doing it and .... She about to say more but  landline interrupted them making anika scared shit out of her. 

What are you waiting for.. pick it up before boss fires you. Anika nods hurriedly and pick up the phone with her shaking hands.

Hello her voice  shakes having sweat breaming   from her forehead.

Where are you  mrs park??? . and where's my coffee. Hearing his thick yet  hoarse voice make anika shakes in  fear and look at the receptionist being clueless .

Sir it's not Mrs park ... it's an.....

I don't  care who the hell   Are you. I want my coffee on my table in next two minutes. Hearing his scream anika jump on her seat and look at the lady ,  who gave her  ( you are gone look. ).

He is asking for coffee she stammers  resting the phone down. .

Then go and make it. What are you  waiting for. Anika nods her head and about to slipped out of the room but stopped again remembering something. . 

Coffee,, I don't know what kind of coffee he likes. She stutter  tightening her grip on her shirt edge.  If it would had been old shivaay then things were different. She knew what kind of things he like specifically coffee.  As apparently despite being not in good senses ,, still he had fond of coffee and she used to make for him. But now he is not her innocent shivaay anymore. Now He is ceo of a big ass company.

I don't know either.  you have to  manage itself.  the receptionist threw bomb on her head putting anika in more problem. It's her first day only and she thought she  will spend learning things around the office. but instead  they just threw all the work on her head like she is experienced of all the things from ages. She closed her eyes  controlling her raging heart and immediately left to make coffee for her boss. Who is apparently none other than her  husband. 

After somehow managing to make coffee  she tuck her hair strand back with her fingers and knock on the door.

Come  in ... hearing his manly yet dangerous voice ,she bite her lips in anticipation and push the door  Entering inside. Firsr few second he didn't lift up his head but when he did then a thick  frown settle on his forehead finding an unknown girl standing infront of him not his personal secretary,,  who was apparently Mrs park.

Who are you???, as he asked the  question in  loud voice anika jump on her place  resting the cup on the table and open her mouth to answer him. But it's feels like someone  has  sealed her mouth with something.

Will you answer me or stand there like a statue. He retorted

I I'm anika your new secretary. Mrs park got in an incident and now she is on sick leave. Seeing her shaking in fear shivaay shake his head and stood up walking towards her holding  hands on his back.  

Sir ... she stutter  bending her head down before his blue eyes come to connect with her brown ones. 

Then gear up and start your job. I really don't have time to see  you shaking infront of me like this.  Learn everything in a day and  start your job.  Understand. Now go and forward me all the emails regarding the project which we got yesterday. Understand now leave. Anika parted her lips to say something but as her eyes met with his she nods her head and  take heavy steps to leave but before she escape from his cave she's been collided with somsome and straight away fell back in Shivaay's arm making Him shock as well as the person who is standing in the door looking at her with pure anger.
