Chapter 04

She immediately shut the door  after finding out her boss is here to pick her up that also 5am in the morning.  Panic run through her vein thinking about  zayaan "who is currently sleeping inside the room. . If shivaay will see him then might it will put him in the doubt . And she really don't have capacity to answer his questions for that . But wait ,,why she is afraid off. When he don't remember anything... for him she is just his an employ ,who work under him. Other than that he doesn't know her and surely he is not interested  that whether if she has son or not.  So worrying about it is unnecessary and reasonless.   Thinking about this she sigh in relief and immediately run back to her room to get ready. .

Where's my phone ... she  mumbled searching her phone around the room and in end she got it under the pillow .

Hello Mrs Peter. I'm so sorry to disturb you early morning. But my boss is here to pick me up. So can you please  come and take zayaan with you. I'll be leaving in few minutes. She speaks on the phone biting her nails in anxiety as well as with guilt for dragging Mrs Peter in all this. But unfortunately she doesn't have any other options. So she has to do it whether she wants or not. 

Yes sure. You can leave after locking the door. I've a spare key.  I'll get in and take zayaan with me. Hearing  mrs Peter , a sigh of relief left her mouth and she immediately cut the call after thanking her.

After few minutes

She managed to get in her regular pant and top and then  put her jacket on and left the house  not before saying good bye to her sleeping son. Who is looking so adorable having cutest pout while in deep slumber.   She  is feeling herself so bad mother for leaving  her son in such early age. But her situation is not great that she could stay at her home and take care of her son. Unwillingly she has to leave the house  for earning some money to survive in this cruel world. .  With those thoughts she comes out from the  house and padded fast towards her boss car " who is  waiting sitting inside.

You are late ... as she got in the car these words slipped out of his mouth making her  close her eyes in anticipation.

Im sorry". I didn't  know that you are coming at this time to pick me up. You didn't inform me last night.

So you want me to spare my precious time specifically and call you to inform that  we are going in meeting in early meeting and queen should be ready.  He says raising his brow up letting out a sarcastic sneer.

No I didn't mean that I just ..... she try to give him explanation but he just  ignore her and order his driver to move. As he really don't wanna be late more further. Anika sighs and  turned her face mumbling

Rude man ,,

Did you say something. Anika immediately look at him and shook her head. 

I didn't ....  Shivaay  gaze  at her sternly and then turn his face away spending his rest of the time ignoring her  like she doesn't exist near him and somewhere it gave anika time to rest little to ease her breath " which gets hard for  her to inhale because of his presence.

Soon after half an hour journey their car come to halt and he gets down Along with anika whose frown thicken seeing the airport.  She thought might they are going in some restaurant for meeting or  something. But here they are heading for airport.

Where are we going ??? She managed to get courage and ask him the question following him like a lost puppy. But instead answering her he head towards the  zone which led them toward private side of the airport and in not time anika witnesses numerous planes standing infront of her in different sizes.

Sir this way , a man bend his head down showing him the way of his private jet , on  which he  nods his head and padded  toward it having his famous stern face. Anika so wanna stop him and ask him where the hell he is taking her. but then she dropped the idea thinking he will yet again gonna  answer her in rude language. So better if she keeps quiet. 

Mam please sit  down and fasten your belt.  Flight is going to take off in some minutes. Air hostess informed her passing her extra big smile folding her hands infront. 

Yes. She smiles at her and did what she said.

You gonna sit with me. Shivaay raises his eyebrow finding her taking place near him ...

Err sorry she try to get up to leave but he clasp her wrist and pulled her back besides him.

It's fine. We can't delay anymore because of you. Sit here. Plane gonna take off  in a minute. Anika nods her head and put the seat belt on sliding  little away from him trying to bring enough gap between him and hers. So that  she doesn't get in touch with him.  But soon as plane take off " she gasp and her hand straight away landed on his digging her nails in his fingers.  Shivaay first look at her hand and then at her face finding her sitting with him with closed eyes all sweat up  shivering in fear.he sighs and try to  remove her hand but she tighten her grip more squeezing her eyes.

Plz please don't  do this. Let me hold you. Otherwise I'll throw up. Hearing her he loosen his grip and let her hold him until the plane didn't get straight in the air. 

I'm sorry ,, guilt overpowered her when she saw his  palm having her nail prints. 

I didn't mean to do it.  Let let me  tend you. Before shivaya say something she pulled out cream from her purse which she always carry with her because of her son and apply on his hand.

You don't need to do it. He said  taking his hand back. But she yet again clasp it  and tend i softly

It will be fine after few hours. She smiles putting the  cream back in her purse.shivaay look into her eyes and felt something in his heart which seems so familiar to him. He don't know  but he feels like he knows her.  Her presence makes him  remember about someone whom he never met in his life.  A blurry face comes infront of his eyes making  him restless. It's feels like he is missing some important pace of his life. Since he came out from his illness. He's not in peace.  He thinks something is lacking in his life despite having his family and most precious woman  with him ,, who took care of him in his dark pace. But still there's something which is not setting well with him.

I I need to use washroom. Anika feels awkward seeing him tucking his at her and decided to escape from there instead making the atmosphere  awkward.

God " you are gone mad shivaay. He groan  watching her retreating figure and then turn his face away looking outside of the window

Anika  come running downstairs when she saw Shivaay's brother rudra beating him up tying him with pillar.

Shivaayyy " she screams and immediately stood infront of him hugging him tightly which cause the stick straight away hit her back.

Annie,,, as the stick  hit anika ,from no where  ,, shivaay got power and    Break the rope and attack on his own brother whom he loves dearly. 

How dare you to hurt my Annie. How can you hurt her like this. You can't do this ru. You know that how precious she is to me. He shout hitting him with his punches.  Family gasp and run towards their side to stop him to hit rudra. But nothing is going on in his head and he is just continuously hitting him just because his Annie got hurt by him.

Shivaay don't do this. Shiv please  stop it. Shivaay leave him. It's not hurting I promise. But right now  nothing is going on in his head and he  just wanna punish his brother for hurting his Annie his best friend. Whom he got before three months and instantly she became important in his life.

Shivaay stop. His mother held his arm and shoves him away and none second she placed slap on his face making him look at her shockingly. 

Shivaay,,, anika let out a cry and crouched down infront of him taking him in hug. 

Don't hit him. She sobs tightening her grip around him.

Oh really I shouldn't hit him ha.then what about him who's ready to take his brother's life.  I'd brought you in this house to take care of him. But instead getting improvement"  day by day he is becoming beast. She screams pointing towards shivaay who is hiccuping hugging his wife.

I'm sorry aunty. He won't do such thing again. I promise.  He will be a good boy. 

He better be. Otherwise i won't take time to send him in mental asylum again .  Hearing her shivaay shiver in fear and shook his head.

No no I don't wanna go there. I don't wanna go there. He sobs gripping  anika tightly.

You are not going anywhere shivaay. I'm with you. I'm sorry aunty for everything. From now on he won't do such things. I promise. I will take care of him properly.  Come let's go shivaay. Let's go. She immediately help him to stand up and took him in the room without looking back for once.

Aaaaa he moans in pain when she apply  cream on his back.

I'm sorry " she mumbles having tears in her eyes and apply cream on his wound.

Why did you go in his room shiv. You know that  he doesn't like you. Still you went to meet him.

I just  wanted to wish him that's all annie. But  he got angry when mistakenly his phone  got slipped out of my hands.  He sobs fidgeting with his fingers twisting his lips like a small child.

Next  time don't go there ok.   Just stay with me. You know that these people doesn't like you.  So better stay away from them .  As she said those words he sobs and lay in her lap hugging her waist pushing his face into her stomach.

Why no one loves me Annie. Why they hates me so much.  Anika's heart break into many pieces after hearing him.

I don't know baby.  But I love you right. And I guess that's enough for you. 

You love me ,, he said innocently  caressing her face while having his head on her lap.

Yes I do. I do so much. She  rub her thumb on his face tenderly  and peck his forehead.

Then I love you too Annie. hearing his confession  her heart flutter in happiness and she hugged him tightly.  But their happiness was short live when anika's eyes caught pinky standing in the door having blood shot eyes looking all angry and dangerous on the same time .

Aunty .... Before she says more ,,  pinky stormed towards them and slapped anika making her fell on the bed. 

Annieeee .. Shivaay immediately crouched  and took her in his arms looking at his mother with frighten state.

You  changed his medicines  didn't you ??.... She screams

Hey hey get up get up. we have been reached.  Anika  gasp and immediately open her eyes scaring shivaay seeing her red  blood  dripping eyes. 

She first look at him and then  run her eyes around  her surroundings  finding herself in the plane and that's made her realised that she  has slept and had her past reflection like always. 

Shall we go or you wanna sleep. He asked  shrugging  his coat while standing up. Anika take a shaky breath and stood up  apologetically.

I'm sorry she babbled  and followed him behind holding the file tight in her hand  still in daze of her past.

After successful meeting,, they directly head back to the their own city. Anika was panicking might he will stay for atleast for one day. Wherever they are going. But thankfully meeting got finished on the good time and they directly came back office.

I'm going in my cabin. Saying this her boss left from there leaving her behind. She exhale a breath and about to head towards her cabin when ria block her way having teasing smile.

Where did you go with boss. She said hitting her shoulder with her own having mischief smile.

We just went for meeting in another city that's all. What happened why are you behaving like this. ??? She frown.

I'm behaving odd. as apparently our boss never took his any of secretary in another city with him. You are the first one who went. She winks making anika smile.

I think he likes you. She grin giving fit of happiness to anika. She started believing that things might gonna be easy for her. But her dream bubbles were weak and in none second she jump on her place out of fear when she heard her boss scream. She look at ria in frightened state and rushed towards his cabin while ria went to her place saving her ass from the wrath of her boss.

Sir is everything alright ??? Anika said breathing heavily while standing in the door. But instead answering her he throw a file on her face making her shut her eyes with sudden hit of paper.

You are asking me everything alright. Youuuu .... Who is the main reason of the problem. I'd told you strictly to email all the clauses of the agreement before going in the meeting. But you bloody didn't do it. and because of you ,, they have decided to not do business with ussss. I can't believe you can be such an idiot. After helping you in everything you still manage to do such big mistake.

I I did send them I .... She sobs and try to speak but out of fear her voice just got stuck in her throat.

Oh really ,, you sent it. Then where's it. Why didn't they get it. He shout  padding towards her like a lion having red blood dripping eyes out of rage. 

Let me show you. Let me .... She trembled and started scrolling fast in her iPad. But next second she shriek when he snatched the iPad and threw it away on the floor breaking it in countless pieces.

What you gonna show me when damage is already done. Our whole trip and the time got wasted because of your one mistake. I can't believe you can be such a dumber and idiot.

I'm sorry I ... she sobs hanging her head down in guilt and fear on the same time.

You are fired....! He announced making her snapped at her eyes at him in shock.

What.... ?? She gasp.

I said you are fired. Pack your stupid things and get the hell out of here. I don't wanna see your face anymore.

But I ..... she try to argue but his one growl made her quiet and she step back looking at him being hurt.

I said get outttt didn't you hear. He Scream pointing towards the door clenching his Jaw tight .

Baby what's wrong ??, Thea come running inside having concern on her face and immediately hugged him resting her hand on his nape.

Relax, relax baby. Everything is fine. Seeing him calming down in someone else's arms anika's heart churn in pain and she immediately walked out from there not before sparing glance at them .

She was happy before few minutes. She had thought that might she will settle down here quickly. But like always " her happiness was short lived and now she is Packing her stuff to leave from there. She once look towards him through the glass finding him still hugging his fiancé and then immediately divert her eyes not able to see the scenario.

Time to leave anika ... she grabs her stuff and left the office having her head down not able to meet her eyes with the other people of office" who are giving her pity look.but no one dared to came ahead to console her not even ria. And to be honest why would they do it. When they are thinking about their own jobs .

Mrs Peter got confused seeing anika early then she expected. She thought there's still more hours for her to come back. Bht she is already standing in the door.

I'm here to take zayaan. She spoke softly without meeting her eyes with Mrs Peter.

Come inside. Anika try to deny but she held her hand and dragged her inside.

What happened ?? You seems tensed. Mrs Peter asked squeezing her hand gently.

I've been fired ..... she answered Having shaky voice.

What but why ??, everything was going great right. Then what happened all of Sudden.

Yh it was. But today I done one mistakes and without thinking anything he ordered me to leave the office. He said he doesn't want irresponsible person like me. I'd thought that things will be easy with him. I'll manage to bring him back into my life. But i was wrong. Nothing sort of happened like that. And I yet again lost him before I get him. I guess, mine and his journey was till here only. Rest of the life I've to spend in his memories that's all. She sobs fidgeting with her fingers in sadness.

What are you are talking about. I'm not able to understand. Did you know him before as well. Hearing mrs Peter anika couldn't hold her emotions and burst into tears hugging her tightly.

He is my husband... the father of my zayaan. Saying this she started crying loudly making Mrs Peter widen her eyes in shock.

What??? She bewildered pulling her out of the hug.

I'm saying the truth. He is my husband. I was married with him for two years.

But how ,, how Come he is your husband. I mean what happened how did you get separate. ?? And most importantly , didn't he recognise you when you went to his office. Anika shook her head and speak.

He don't remember me. He forgot his past two years of his life. He had bad accident and because of it he had lost his mind. His family wasn't able to take care of him. So his mother made him married to me. She took advantage of my situation. My mother was in hospital when I'd met his mother and there she gave me offer that she will help me to bring my mom back in life and in return I've to marry her son. I was naive as well as helpless. so without thinking anything I'd got agreed. But I didn't know that I'm putting my feet in the fire. After reaching her house. I'd realised her son is not in good shape. He is 28 years old. But his mind is stuck on 10 years old child.( she sniffled wiping her tears remembering about the time when she had witnessed a grown man screaming under  the grip of two nurses. ) all of sudden his responsibility came on my shoulders.  And it made me more exhausted than ever. Already I was battling up with other stuffs.   and one more has landed on me making my life more miserable. Me and god knows how bad days I'd spent in that house. And  for the person , for whom I'd done all that she also couldn't make it and died during the operation. She sobs missing her mother terribly who left her in this cruel world all alone without having a single  support with her.

What ?, what do you  mean ??,  Mrs Peter asked holding her shoulder.

My mother died. She didn't  survive. Saying this she burst in to painful sobs and kept her both hands on her face crying bitterly.

Awww child ,,, she caresses her hair and console her with her tenderness.
