Mr. Kent’s Class

I bit my lip nervous for Jaxon to come, after him calling me Princess in front of everyone, I’ve been really nervous.

I took a few deep breaths trying to calm my nerves, I ran my fingers through my light hair distracting myself.

“Alright class, time for attendance,” the teacher announced.

But Jaxon’s late..will he not even come?

Mr. Kent started calling out names and getting responses from everyone. He called Jaxon’s name, obviously he got no answer. So he marked him off.

Well, maybe he won't come back ever, good riddance!

“Tyler, how many times have I told you to say you’re here when I call your name?” Mr.Kent asked a little agitated.

I smiled guiltily, “Slipped my mind.”

Mr. Kent sighed and continued with role count.

I watched the door the whole class waiting for Jaxon to come, waiting for his obnoxiousness to annoy me. But he never came.

“You guys will do a project, you have until Christmas break to get it done. I understand you will have little time to work considering you will have little to no time in my class. That's why my deadline is so far away. Your partner will be your deskmate, and if they’re not here then you’re doing it alone,” Mr. Kent announced.

Great, he’s not here so I have to work alone…

I sighed annoyed, “Can I just partner with someone else?”

Mr. Kent looked up at me, “No.”

I swallowed back my words and looked away trying not pop off. He knew I couldn’t get bad grades, he knew I’d have to work alone, he did this on purpose. So I would actually do my work, but I’ll just get Jacobi to do it.

I pulled out my phone and texted Jace.

‘Hey. Can u do my project?’

‘Uhhhh? No.’

I frowned, this was great, now I actually have to do work..unless I hired someone to do it for me!

But, I don’t have money for that..damn.

“Where’s Jaxon when you need him?” I whispered.

I laughed, I never thought I’d ever say that, not in a million years.

But he probably wouldn’t do the work either, knowing from how he acts, he thinks he’s a cool badass that gets all the women.

I frowned, even Jade pays attention to him..I grunted snapping myself back to my positive mind, she isn’t in my life anymore, I shouldn’t even be thinking about her.

6/18/18

It’s been almost a week, and Jaxon never showed up to classes once. I’m relieved since he can’t bother me anymore, but stressed about the project. At times like this, I wish I could contact him, sadly.

“Dude, I’m gonna get a Fail, I can’t do that.”

“Then why don’t you actually do the work for once?” Jacobi sighed.

“I’m not about that life Jace,” I said totally double-chining it.

He huffed, “You’re hopeless.”

I took a big bite of my ham sandwich, what was I supposed to do now? I was really running out of options, and the project had to be done by tomorrow.

Ugh! I’m totally screwed. Jaxon really needs to hurry and get his *** here so we can do the project.

I looked to my right annoyed after someone sat down shaking the table. My eyes widened once I saw a pair of familiar grey eyes.

“Jaxon?”

He stole a few of my chips, “Miss Me?”

I frowned, “Don’t flatter yourself Jaxon, I’m pissed that you just left.”

“So you missed me?”

“No!.” I grunted, “We have tonight to do a project that due tomorrow.”
