Chapter 1

Today was my coming of age ceremony and I had to proceed just as planned\- Attend the ceremony, greet the emperor, chat a little with those dumbhead ladies and then approach Duke Wynknight. I was on third part of my plan and I swear I would rather dance like maniac instead of talking to these dumb people. All they knew was to kiss *** and giggle after seeing any good looking guy. Now i had to proceed with my plan

I said my goodbyes and searched for where the duke is, luckily he wasn't anywhere near the emperor or that sly fox would've made it harder to talk

"Greetings to the Esteemed Duke"

"Greetings to the Princess"

"If the duke doesn't mind, i would like to talk to you alone"

I swear I could almost hear his thoughts, "Tch, another empty headed girl. I can't refuse 'cause it's the princess." You can try a little harder to hide your disinterest, you know!!

"How dare I refuse the Princess, should we head towards the balcony?"

The balcony?? Of course not! if anyone hears my plan, he might tell the emperor

"Uh...would you mind if we talked in the garden?"

"Of course not, My princess"

We wlked towards the garden and i prepared myself for the proposal.

"What would be the reason the princess wanted to talk me?"

"I would like to share some information regarding your family's blood oath towards the emperor"

He seemed a little taken back, well of course if a girl who you thought would confess to you suddenly says something like that, it would be weird if he weren't

"How do you even...??"

"The late emperor told me about it, the current emperor doesn't know everything about it, he just knows that the Wynknight ancestors swore their blood to the throne..."

"But the there's more to it, isn't it?"

"Yes, but only the heir selected by the emperor can know about it"

"So there's something about the oath th Wynknights don't know? You do realize that it is the most important event in yhe history of Wynknights, right?"

"Tch, do you really think I am some stupid pampered princess who doesn't know anything about the world? I thought you were smart enough to know a person's true character after talking to them"

"Well the princess sure puts on a good facade, doesn't she?"

"I don't have time to waste, lets cut to the point, if that bastard notices i am missing, he'll send somone to chevk on what i am doing!"

"Princess, you do realize that you just committed treason, and that too in front of the emperor's most trusted aide, that is not a smart move, now is it?"

"Ah are you telling me you're not interested in knowing how you can break the oath?"

He seemed indecisive, maybe he thought that the emperor had asked me to check whether he was having any second thoughts, i needed to show that i would prove to be a trustworthy confidant

"You must have heard that the current emperor killed my father,right? I am the rightful heir to the throne and that guy stole it from me, but i won't be quiet. Help me succeed the throne and I'll free you from your oath, how does the deal sound?"

"And what makes you think that I'll trust you?"

"Fine, I'll give you the information first and then you can think about it!"

"If you give me the information first, why would I help you if I know how to break free from the oath?"

"My, I am not stupid, of course to break the oath you would need my help"

"What...tell me what I don't know?"

"The Wynknights don't have to protect or obey the emperor as long as the emperor doesn't say that he orders them to, that's why when the emperor succeeds the throne, he gives the Wynknights three orders about which only the selected heir knows, naturally, the current emperor doesn't, and if the emperor orders you to break the blood oath, then you can, but of course the emperor isn't stupid, he'll never order you so make me the emperor, I'll break our oath"

"But how can I be sure that you still won't turn back on your word"

"You...do you take me for a fool, do you even know how to hold a sword, huh?"

"To prove my swordsmanship, how about a duel tomorrow, huh?'

"Sigh...what do you want me to do today?"

"Well...when we go back, ask me for a dance then the next day ask the emperor to allow you to take me to your territory, to make me your aide because you found me "quite amusing"

"Don't you think asking the permission to marry you would be better?Why would the emperor let you go out if you might gain strength"

"I have my ways of making him think that your reason might not be true, Besides just have you ever shown interest in a girl, even if she's smart"

"Don't forget to ask me for dance, now come a minute after me"

"Won't it be better if I came with you?"

"The emperor knows how it works, doesn't he?"

"Well you certainly have some charm, Princess"

"My, is the duke falling for me?"

To think he would blush at that, his society name certainly suits him, "The ****** Prince Charming"

"Sure, duke. I wish us a healthy collaboration"
