Chapter 5

The boy was covered in scratches, with blood everywhere. She

helped him up and asked, "How old are you?" Yoona is 8 years old. He

was very scared and remained silent. Realizing this, she walked over to a

nearby trash can, took out a piece of chocolate, rubbed off the dirt on her

clothes, and offered it to the boy. She reassured him, "Do not cry. I have

scared the boys off and they will not come here again." She extended her

hand with the dirty chocolate, hoping that the boy would take it and stop

crying.

The boy had a weird look on his face, as if to ask why the

girl was being so weird. He was puzzled as to why she was offering him candy

that had already been eaten and thrown away. Yoona didn't understand why the

boy refused to take the candy. She thought that he didn't want it, so she was

about to put it in her mouth. Suddenly, the boy grabbed her hand, took the

candy, and threw it far away.

Yonna was surprised by his action, but she did not want to

waste the single candy she had found. So, she ran towards the candy to pick it

up. However, the boy stopped her, rummaged inside his bag, and found the thing

he was looking for. He handed it over to the girl, and it turned out to be the

candy she had seen. Yonna had never seen a real and new candy before, so she

was very surprised by the boy's actions but was very happy inside to see one.

The boy tried to give the candy to her, but Yonna refused, saying that she had

no money for it.

The boy replied that there was no need to give him money

because he had more at home Just think of it as a gift for saving me from those

gangs. Yoona was very happy and started jumping around. Seeing her reaction,

the boy's heart started racing and he began to blush a little and smile. It was

like he had fallen in love at first sight.

After the excitement of receiving a new candy, Yoona

composed herself and asked the boy for his home address so that she could send

him on his way. However, the boy did not want to part ways just yet because

they had just met. He lied and said that he had forgotten where he lived. Yoona

was scared that he would also be living like her, roaming the streets despite

having a family of his own. Suddenly, she grabbed both of the boy's hands and

asked him to follow her. The boy was surprised by this, thinking she would take

him to her own home, but little did he know that Yoona was ready to send him to

his own house.

While walking on the road, the boy's eyes were fixed on

Yoona as if he was admiring her from top to bottom. He did not see the road

they were walking on. Soon after, they reached their destination, which was the

police station.
