Chapter 4

Because of the crying and yelling noise, the beggar who has

a tent beside their house came to check what happened and saw Yoona crying. He

called for his wife, who took Yoona into her care. The beggar then began

checking on him and shook his head while looking at his wife. The wife quickly

understood the situation and sat beside Yoona. She told her, "Look, Yoona,

Uncle has gone to a better place where there is unlimited food and money. It's

just that he will not wake up." Yoona replied, "Why didn't he take me

with him? Did he not like me?"

 Yoona asked questions

non-stop, but the neighbors had no idea how to answer her. They just said,

"We are sorry, my child. Just let him go. He will be happy now. You will

see him after growing up." Then the neighbor's wife took Yoona and hugged her

tightly. Yoona cried hard as her whole world was crashing. Because she cried so

hard, she fell asleep. The neighbors were so sad for her, but immediately

proceeded with the burial before Yoona woke up, worried about what would happen

to the little girl now. The beggar's passing was a very crucial and very sad

moment in Yoona's life which she will never forget.

After Yoona woke up, she found herself surrounded by dogs

that were ready to eat her. She started throwing stones towards them to save

herself. The alley was dark and silent, and the neighbors were gone. No one

knows where they were or why they left Yoona there. Yoona was used to being

abandoned, so she just let it slip, but deep inside her heart she was sad.

She wandered the streets for many days, hoping to find her

first home, but it felt like she was in a whole new country. She continued to

wander and wonder, and after several months, she finally asked an old lady

about her home. The old lady was amazed at how far she had come and explained

to her that she could never go back, as she was now in South Korea, not in

London. It turned out that the space pods were crashed and destroyed in London,

and she had been there for years, but her neighbors took advantage of her

uncle's death and sold her to a Korean man. He eventually abandoned her because

he thought she was dead, and left her on the streets.

After hearing this, Yoona was taken aback and swore to never

trust anyone again. She wandered the Korean streets for a whole year. One day,

while roaming the streets and searching for leftover food in the trash, she

found a boy being beaten up by five teenagers. She was scared to go, but she

remembered how she had ignored a boy in London. This time, she started to go

towards them with a scared look on her face but still managed to approach them

and scream, "Help! Help! The police are coming this way!" and started

throwing the trash can at them. They were scared of the police and ran off

immediately.
