**Weekend Morning:**
Jade woke up early, swiftly packed her ingredients, and knocked on her brother Ronan's door.
"Brother!" Jade whispered, continuing to knock persistently. Ronan, disheveled and groggy, opened the door, questioning the early hour.
"It's me, brother," Jade replied with a childlike smile.
"Jade, why are you up at this hour?" Ronan asked, bewildered by his 23-year-old sister's behavior.
"Brother, please drive me to my fiancé's house," Jade pleaded, trying to cajole Ronan into taking her despite his reluctance.
Fifteen minutes later, Ronan, now dressed but clearly unhappy, accompanied Jade to the car.
Ronan muttered to himself, "Why doesn't she ask Rockey? Why does she always come to me? My little sister is so dedicated to her fiancé, even at the cost of waking her brother."
From a distance, Jade called out, urging her brother, "Hurry up, brother!"
**En route to Aiden’s house:**
During the drive, Ronan questioned Jade.
"Did you inform our parents that you're going to your fiancé's house? Do your fiancé's parents know you're coming?"
Jade curtly replied, "Perfectly informed."
Ronan shook his head in disbelief at his sister's unusual behavior.
"Jade, are you really okay with marrying him?" Ronan voiced his concern regarding Jade's decision to marry a blind man. Jade turned to her brother, comforting him by grasping his hand.
"Brother, I understand your concern. Loving someone is not about their appearance, but about..." Jade paused, placing her hand on her brother's heart, "...this. You'll understand, brother, when you find someone your heart truly connects with, regardless of their appearance."
Ronan chuckled at Jade's philosophical approach and patted her head affectionately. He then refocused on driving until they arrived at Aiden's house.
Jade requested Ronan to accompany her, but he declined, advising her to call him when she finished, and drove away. Jade entered Aiden’s house, laden with items, and was assisted by one of Aiden's household staff.
"Jade, you're quicker than auntie expected," remarked Aiden's mother, descending the stairs in her nightwear, draped in a blanket. Jade greeted her politely.
"Good morning, Auntie. Did I disturb your sleep?" Jade inquired, trying to be considerate.
"Of course not, dear. I'm pleased you feel at home here. Let me help you," Aiden's mother offered, but Jade politely refused, expressing her wish to work independently.
Aiden's mother smiled and retreated to her room, leaving Jade to her culinary exploration. However, the household staff persisted in assisting Jade, and she eventually relented, allowing them to help her.
"By the way, Nanny, may I ask you something?" Jade inquired. The nanny seemed to anticipate Jade's question, sharing that Aiden was not picking about food; he would eat anything tasty.
Acknowledging the nanny's advice, Jade thanked her and commenced cooking. An hour passed, and it was already 7:00 a.m.
Everyone gathered around the dining table, admiring the spread Jade had prepared. The aroma attracted the household staff and Aiden's parents to the dining area.
"It smells amazing," exclaimed one of the maids, followed by another maid praising Jade's culinary skills. The nanny intervened, trying to curb their excitement, while Aiden's parents, impressed by the spread, insisted that Jade share the food with everyone present.
"Wow, it looks so delicious and well-decorating ," complimented the household staff. The nanny reprimanded them gently, trying to maintain order, while Aiden's parents urged Jade to share the food with others. Reluctantly, Jade distributed portions to the staff, and they headed to the maid dining room to enjoy the meal.
"Did you have breakfast for yourself yet?" Aiden's mother asked Jade, concerned about her well-being.
Jade chuckled and replied, "I'm already full from the cooking." Aiden's parents understood that chefs, while cooking, often taste their dishes and feel satiated.
"Nanny, please prepare food for Aiden; he might wake up soon," Aiden's mother instructed, and the nanny respectfully confirmed that Jade had already prepared it.
"May I take the food to him, Auntie?" Jade asked with a smile, to which Aiden's mother agreed. Jade personally carried the food, declining the nanny's assistance.
Meanwhile, Aiden's father relished the meal, impressed by his future daughter-in-law's culinary skills. "Wow," he exclaimed, which piqued his wife's curiosity. Chuckling, he praised Jade's cooking and joked about getting emotional.
Upstairs, Jade and the nanny approached Aiden's room. The nanny knocked, and Liam, Aiden's personal assistant, opened the door. Recognizing Jade, Liam welcomed her respectfully, but Jade intervened and took the food herself, refusing his help.
Placing the food on the table, Jade noticed Aiden was absent.
"Liam," a voice from the bathroom called out. Liam rushed to assist Aiden but was late, and Jade, being closer, extended her hand, which Aiden mistook for Liam’s. He took her hand, guided her to his bed, and then realized his mistake.
"Nice to meet you again, my fiancé," Jade greeted him, causing Aiden to withdraw his hand abruptly. Everyone witnessed the humorous interaction.
"Liam, where are you?" Aiden's stern voice demanded. Liam hurried over, slightly tense.
"Get me changed," Aiden instructed Liam, who assisted him promptly.
After Aiden reappeared, well-dressed, Liam guided him to the dining area. However, he couldn't locate it due to Jade rearranging the furniture.
"What's wrong, Liam?" Aiden inquired. Jade, from the window side, directed Liam to the correct spot.
"Liam, please guide him that way," Jade instructed, catching Aiden's attention.
As Liam assisted Aiden in sitting near the window, Aiden's vision adjusted to the light. He asked, "Where am I, Liam?" before Jade interjected, guiding Aiden to the table she had prepared.
"It's near the window. Do you feel the air?" Jade prompted, assisting Aiden in sensing his surroundings. Aiden's curiosity arose, asking for clarification.
"You...little" before Aiden could finish, Jade cut in, "I cooked breakfast. Let's try it." She offered him a bite, which he tasted cautiously.
He took a bit of the food that Jade gave him. He hadn't swallowed it yet when Jade asked, "How is it?"
Aiden swallowed the food and said, "Not good..." Her smile turned into a sad expression, and even the nanny and Liam felt it too. However, Aiden added, "But it's not bad.'"
Then, she changed from a sad face to a smile again, and both the nanny and Liam showed reassuring expressions.
