PAXTON POV

"Thank you for coming once again" I said with a smile

"Common, we both had fun. It's nice spending time with you after all these years" Hannah replied and I nodded

"Yeah"

"Are you back here or you would be going back" Hannah asked

"I am here to continue my dad's business" He replied

"Wow, that's nice" Hannah laughed

"You look great, maybe you could model for us" I said and she smiled

"I know you're joking right" She chuckled

"I'm damn serious, you can think about it" I replied and she nodded

ARIANA

8:00PM ⏰

I heard a knock on my door, I paused the movie I was watching on my laptop

"Who's that" I asked

"Hope you're fully clothed" Alex asked opening the door

"Hmph, what are you doing here" I asked

"I came to spend time with my kid sister" He winked and I scoffed

"Where's your clingy girlfriend, the both of you would have been oppressing me by now"

"I've been trying to call her since morning, I think she's busy " Alex replied and I shrugged

"Alright, let's play ludo since you're bored," I said, closing my laptop.

"Okay, imy definitely winning today" Alex smirked and I laughed

"Dream on," I said, putting the board on the table. His phone began to ring and he looked at the screen

"Oh, it's Hannah," he said standing up.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"I'll be right back" Alex said

"I am your sister, I own you too" I yelled angrily as he walked out of the room to meet his girlfriend.

I hissed and continued watching my movie.

ALEX

"Babe" Hannah giggled and hugged me.

"Seriously?" I asked

"I'm sorry, I had a lot if work to do" She pouted

"You should have called, I tried calling but it was switched off" I said

"I'm so sorry, let's go inside, I have something to tell you" She smiled and I carried her in my arms.

"So what's making you this excited" I asked

"Guess" she laughed

"Nooo, just tell me" I refused to punch her cheeks.

"Do you remember Paxton" She asked and I bit my lips

"Paxton?" I asked

"Yeah, do you remember?" She smiled. I bit my lips trying to remember, the name sounds familiar

"Your high school crush" I blurted

"Yeah, he returned back to the country and we had lunch together, it was fun being with him" She laughed and I started at her

"What's wrong, you don't look happy?" She asked touching my face

I removed her hand and walked out of the room.

KIMBERLY

I smiled as I looked at the pictures I took with Cade. He looks so cute and adorable.

"I love you my little pumpkin pie" I chuckled

"You should be sleeping by now" mum said

"Yes, I'm not feeling sleepy" I replied and she sat beside me on the bed. She looked at my phone and smiled

"I think it's time you put everything behind you and start a new life" Mum said

"I already did that" I replied

"I don't think so, you're still single and bored at home"

"Mum, I didn't tell you that I was bored" I laughed

"Really, how do you feel staying from morning to evening without any love text or calls, such life is boring" Mum said

"I'm okay mum, I don't need a man, you and Cade are enough for me" I replied

"Well, Cade won't be my only grandson, so I'll advise you to start looking for a boyfriend or I'll get one for you" Mum said

"Common mum" I laughed

"I am serious" She replied

"Okay, I will," I chuckled and hugged her.

ALEX

I stood outside my room staring at the starless sky. The news about Paxton really affected me.

He was Hannah's crush in school and I think they dated for sometime before breaking up. We were classmates and I recalled how Paxton and I fought several times because of her.

Now we're adults, I don't want all that happening again. I was waiting for her while she was outside having lunch with another guy.

I felt someone hug me from behind.

"Sweetheart, I am sorry" Hannah whispered

"It's fine, I don't want what happened those years to repeat itself " I said facing her.

"No baby, we are all grown up now besides I'm your fiancee and I think Paxton already has a lady he likes " Hannah smiled

"Alright, I missed you so much" I said tucking her hair behind her ears and leaning forward for a kiss

"Me too" She chuckled and I pressed my lips on hers.

JEFFREY

"Hey, are you asleep already?" I asked

"No, just watching a movie " Ariana replied

"Boring, come outside, I'm waiting for you" I said

"Huh??"

"Yeah, I am outside your gate" I said

"Okay.... I'll be there soon" She stuttered and I hung up.

I smiled and inhaled the flower in my hand.

"Perfect" I grinned

"What are you doing here by this time?" She asked as she walked closer to me

"I came to see you" I replied

"Don't you think it's too late" She asked looking round

"It's just 9pm, you look good" I smiled. She was wearing a hoodie and jeans

"What's in your hand"

"Oh, it's for you" I replied and gave her the flower

"Wow, thank you" She cooed and hugged me.

"You love flowers, right?" I asked and she nodded

"Don't worry, I'll get you as many as you can imagine" I said and she laughed

"So what are we doing now?" Ariana asked

"Late night drive" I winked and opened the car

"My brother, I didn't tell him I was going somewhere" She said

"Don't worry, we won't stay long" I replied and she entered the car.

ARIANA

I smiled as I leaned on the headrest enjoying the drive with Jeffrey. Thishad always been on my to do list when I had a boyfriend and I can't believe it's happening now.

He stopped at an ice cream spot on the road and we had ice cream before driving back home. Luckily, Alex was already in his room but dad was watching the late night news but had dozed off on the sofa.

I smiled and went to the room to fetch the blanket. I covered him with it and went back to my room.

KIMBERLY

The weekend went fast and Monday was here again. I stared at my watch again, I was getting late and there's no taxi on the road I had to keep walking till I got tired of walking

"Oh no, I'm very late" I cried as I ran.

I heard a car horn behind me but I ignored it and continued running. The car was still coming after me so I had to stop

"What the f*CK is wrong with you, can't you see I'm late for work" I yelled and the window rolled down slowly

"Huh?" I gasped as I saw My boss looking at me.

"Good morning Boss" I greeted bowing

"What are you doing here, you're supposed to be in the office by now? '' he asked, staring at me. I was already sweating and trying to catch my breath.

"There's no taxi" I replied

"Hop in" he ordered

"Sir??" I asked pretending not to hear him clearly

"I'll count to two and if...."

I quickly rushed inside the car and sat down.

OFFICE

"Thank you sir" I said dropping his coffee on the table

"Next time wake up early to get the first bus, I won't forgive you if you want come late again" He said

"Okay, I actually woke up early but .."

"Go and continue your work" He replied and I rolled my eyes before going to my seat.

I was about to sit down when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" I said and Mark walked in. He greeted Alex who just nodded and walked to my desk

"Miss Hannah wants to see you" He said and my eyes widened

"Why" I whispered

"You have a second to appear before her" he said and I jumped out of my seat.

HANNAH

"I am going to teach that little b*tch a lesson today" I gritted

I saw her walking timidly behind Mark.

"She's here ma'm" Mark said and left

"Good morning miss....."

"Slap"

I shut her up with a slap. She gasped and held her cheek.

"What did I do" She asked

"You still have the nerves to ask me what you did huh??" I yelled and she moved back

"How did you come to work today?" I asked

"In the boss Car" Kimberly replied and I fisted my hands angrily

"So it's true, how dare you" She yelled

"I am sorry" She apologized

"F*CK you, just get out" I yelled and she walked out.

ALEX

Kimberly returned to the office looking gloomy. Her face was red and had the mark of someone's finger on them like she was slapped

"Kim, what's wrong" I asked and she smiled

"Nothing sir" She replied

"Are you sure?" I asked again and she nodded and sat on her seat.

I stared at her for the last time and faced my laptop.

The door burst open and Hannah walked inside.

"Babe" She pouted

"At least knock, this is my office" I said

"Really, you've never complained about me not knocking, or is there something going on" she asked staring at Kim

"Stop it, what are you doing here, you're supposed to be at your boutique" I asked

"Yeah, I needed to deal with something important here" she smirked

"What's that"

"It's done already, don't worry, here's your lunch, bye" she pecked my lips and walked out

MELODY

"Don't tell me you didn't slap her back" I yelled on the door

"I would have been fired if I did that" Kimberly said

"And so?, The boss only offered you a ride to the office, you did nothing wrong" I said

"It's okay, she's just being jealous" Kimberly chuckled

"You're too cool Kimberly, next time show her you learnt karate" I huffed

"Lol, I only learnt that for self defense, she might die if I use it on her" Kimberly replied and I laughed

"Well, I just wanted to tell you that I met this cute guy and we're going on the date tonight" I giggled

"Wow that's awesome" Kimberly replied

"I'll be taking Cade and I'll send you the pictures" I said

"You don't have to take him, you can drop him at your neighbors place" Kim said

"Nope, he's my baby and I'm taking him along"

ARIANA

"Bye babe, I'll miss you" Jeffrey pouted and I smiled before hugging him.

"Ariana" He called and I looked at him

"Please let me kiss you" He pouted and my cheeks flushed

"No...I haven't done that before. It's not something to be shy about, I am your boyfriend" He said and I sighed

"Please" He pouted and I nodded. He smiled and pressed his lips on mine.

My first kiss, I am so glad that I gave it to the person I love.

The door burst open and we heard screams.

I quickly pushed him away from me and turned. It was Julia and Sonia

"Wtf is going on here" Julia asked

"I will call you later babe" Jeffrey whispered and left

My friends stared at him with wide eyes till he was out of the room.

"Who is he??" Sonia asked and I gulped

"Don't even think of lying" Julia added and I played with my fingers nervously

"He's my boyfriend" I replied

"Your boyfriend???"

"How long have you been dating him?"

"We promised never to hide anything from each other?"

"You betrayed us"

I bit my lips as they bombarded me with questions

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to keep it as a secret, I wasn't sure how you guys would react to the news" I said

"Ariana, we are your friends and we would be happy for you" Sonia said

"Yes, we can't dictate what you should do with your life" Julia said

"I am sorry, we just started dating" I replied

"Awwwn, we're sorry for interrupting that steamy thing going on" Sonia winked and I blushed

"He's cute though, is he rich" Julia asked

"Yeah, he's a graduate and the C.E.O of his dad's company" I replied

"Wow, you're lucky girl" Soniaesaid and hugged me

"Thank you" I smiled
