Chapter 4 : Resigning

After everything that I know I can’t bare to work in M&C anymore just encountering Lee Se Hyeok. Will be harder for me. That day I wrote down a resignation letter to resign for tomorrow. I will work until the last minute. Everything must be hard for me right now but I have to stay strong so I can support my kids for their future. I went to work today? I hope I can meet Mr. Lee so I can resign. I was busy with work for my last day but Mr. Lee wasn’t here he was on a meeting I didn’t get a chance to hand in my resignation letter. I been working all day today to get my work done then I have met with Mr. Oh. Maybe I could give him my resign letter so he can give to Mr. Lee. "Mr. Oh, Wait up." I rush over to him. "Can you hand this to Mr. Lee." I give him the letter. "What is this, are you resigning from here." Mr. Oh Question me about the letter. "Miss Kim are you really going to quit this jobs. You been doing a great jobs for awhile." I don't know but this was a great chance for me but I can't stay here. Its will be awkward for me. Mr. Lee probably have no ideas about this. “Mr. Oh, I think it a great thing that have come but tell Mr. Lee I’m resigning.” Later I went home and pack everything up because I’m also in debt to pay for my rental. The owner need this house more so I end up being homeless for awhile. “Ro Woon, Ro Eun, help mommy clean up the house.” They hesitated “Mommy where are we going.” Ro Woon asked me. “Mommy can’t stay here baby, We need a new house because mommy can’t pay for rental.” They help me clean and pack the house we grab our clothes and stuff we needed.

“Mr. Lee, open the door.” Mr Oh Said, as he came bargaining in my home like this. “What? Do You want Mr.Oh.” He handed my a letter. “What is this?” I asked Mr. Oh. “Miss Kim just handed it to me a minute ago, she resigning.” As I open the letter she didn’t even told me why or what were her reason for leaving the company. “Did she tell you why she were leaving?” “I have no ideas why she quitting but I think you should talk to her. She seem like she was crying when she handed it to me perhaps can it be because of what happen.” Mr. Oh said as he stand there. “What do you mean what happened?” I asked him. “Don’t you remember at the new year gather party with Miss Kim and Yu Ju Kim. They were fighting with each other.” I dont know the reason why Miss Kim would leave all of a sudden. It something I like to know about Miss Kim, why would she be running away. “I need to go talk to Miss Kim.” I told Mr.Oh “You can go home now.” As I went to my car and drive to Miss Kim apartment. As I got to her apartment she was gone. “Where is the lady that live here.” I ask the landlord. “You talking about the sweet girl who have two boys.” The landlords said. “Yes.” I replied back. “She left a couple minutes ago, she seem to have a problem going on. Also she been late with rental these pass couple of month. I feel bad for her for raising two kids alone so I told her she can live here anyway and pay me anytime she got money. I dont what happen with her now? she seem to be suffering so much." the landlord told me everything as I rush and look for Miss Kim. Where could she gone with two kids at night like this? I look for Miss Kim all over the place she couldn’t be found?

As I left everything behind I was able to look a new house it was also night time. The landlord was nice to me but I can’t help it to owes her so much money.

I was walking around at night with my kids. We went to the place outside to find a small apartment for us to stay. We couldn’t even find any place to stay and it was night time. It was very dark out I’m very scared I don’t know what to do. I feel so lost but I have to stay strong for my kids. As someone run up to me and hug me. Its was Mr. Lee. “Miss Kim what are you doing out here it is dangerous for you and the two kids.” He pull me with a hug tightly. Then he drove us to his apartment. As we stay there for a night. “Miss Kim, why did you suddenly resign?” Mr. Lee asked me. “I’m just don’t think I can handle working there. You see I have two kids to raised and my job going back and forth from my apartment is far. I decided to look for a new apartment that is going to be closed to my job.” I didn’t like lying to him but it was all I can do. “Miss Kim, if you have trouble you can always ask me.” I didn’t know what to said but I’m gonna look for a new house soon. The next morning I woke up early and left Mr. Lee. We got pack and left downstairs without telling Mr. Lee. We look for a near by motel. The place is cheap and I will be looking for a job soon. as soon as everything done I will be raising my kids again.
