Chapter 1 : Start up

As I walk into the office getting ready for my interviews. I know something strange is about to happen. I met up with Dang Jun Oh the manger of the company. He interviewed me and I did pass toward the final. I realized that everything was so uncontrollably. I hope I made it in because it alway been my dream to work at a cosmetic company.

Later that evening I receive a text from Dang Jun Oh,

“Congratulation Miss Kim you are accepted in C&M Company. you can start tomorrow.” I was so happy that i jump up and down with excitement. ”Mommy what happened.” The boys asked me, “Mommy just happy that all.” I said. “Look mommy going to get a job so I can take care of you both.” The moment was the best day of my life. I give a hug to both my boys kissing them on the lip. “ Rowoon, Ro Eun both of you need to help each other out. When mommy not around okay.”

(The Next Morning)

The kid got up early and went to school I went to work. I was running in high heels toward the elevator floor. I gonna be late for my first day. As I bump into the handsome cold boy. His sweet smell and aurora have a familiar smell. I don’t know where I smell this from but in my head I know it smell familiar to me. “What floor.” He said with a cold hearted sound. His voice seem very sweet. “I’m going to the 11th floor.” As he press the 11th floor. As the elevator hit the 11th floor I got out. It’s seem like he work on the same floor too. When I walk in everybody was standing up. “This is the new ceo of the cosmetic company” the lady introduce. In my head there something about him that make me realized have I seen him somewhere. “He is my boss.” Then he introduce himself “Hello, I am Lee Se Hyeok. We will be working together for a long time let get along .” He seem to add a little cold breathe of his up. “You’re must be Miss Kim.” He stand there looking at me staring straight down from head to toe. “Come meet me in my office.” He walk pass with a unsweetened aura. “Could I be in huge trouble.” As I knock on the door. (knock knock) “come on in.” Lee Se Hyeok voice was so cold. As I enter the office.

“Miss Kim, As a new employee here at the cosmetic company you should be here on time.” He said straight in my face. “Today will be an acception but next time if you are late I will deduct your salary. you hear me loud and clear.” The nerve on this mother fxxcker. “Yes, Sir.” I replied back at him.

I can’t stand people like him. As if I am the one who late he was also late too. Deduct my salary huh? You are so pathetic that son of a gun. I dont even know that he will become my boss. now I have to deal with a boss. I kick the trash can with heat. Ouch that hurt. As I went to my seat. “Hello, You are new here right?” A sweet voice from next to me . “Yes, hello I am Ye Won Kim.” I said smiling at her. “Nice to meet you, I’m Jaylin Song. I am American Korean. My dad is American and my mom is Korean I’m working here as an management of the beauty cosmetics conpany. you can called me Jae.” we shake hand with each other. As we both laugh and smile at each other. “The New Ceo is so handsome don’t you think .” I smirk “Handsome, I think he look more pathetic than you know.” I farted my word out of my mouth. ”That greasy look on his face is not what you called handsome. If you were talking about being handsome I think Jae Won Is handsome.” I laugh as I was working on some profile. “You know NTS” Jae said, as her eye fill with excitement. “You bet, NTS is a popular Kpop group. who wouldn’t know who they are.” I laughed, “Who your bias? Mine is Tae Yang Hu!” She smirk at me showing my her photo card of Tae Yang Hu. “I like Ji Sung Woo. He is very hot, sexy and very handsome.” We both look at each other with smile. “Can you two be quiet! If you don’t want to work then leave.” Someone yelled at us. “What is wrong with her.” I asked, “that girl is Dara Chang. She could be very mean and rude but don’t mind her.” oh I said in reply, I start filling out some paperwork because this is my first time here working here.

“Miss Kim could you come in my office.” Lee Se Hyeok called me in his office what now. What could I have done wrong this time? I walk into his office. “Mr. Lee, is there anything you need from me.” I asked him. “Could you work on some paperwork for me I need it by the end of today?” He said relying on me. He handed my a q whole stack of paperwork. How on earth do he expect me to finish this by the end of the day. ”Mr. Lee, I am new here as you can see I’m still lack of skill could you just ask someone else.” He look at me questioning me from the bottom. “Miss Kim, you seem like you would have time to do this job, if you don’t want to do it then you can leave the company.” This jerk, he is an asshole for sake. “Fine I do it Mr. Lee.” This job is important to me I can just leave the company I work so hard to be able to work here. I feel hurt deep inside and angry but it my job to take care of my baby. I start working with all my paper there is so much. I feel like I’m gonna cry I can’t keep up with paperwork. It all because of that bastard. It was 4 o clock. I need to pick up Rowoon and Ro Eun. But here I have to work overnight to finish. I don’t know if I able to survive. “Ye Won, you still here.” Jae asked me, “Yes, I have so many thing to do I need to hand it in to the boss.”

“I’m so sorry, do you need help?” Jae asked me, “No, you don’t need to help me I can do this I don’t want to take up your time.” Everyone left the company it was 7 night time already I’m still here and Mr. Lee as well. I couldn’t open my eye as I fell asleep. Mr. Lee walk to me “She asleep.” he touch my face. “What can she be dreaming of right now.” He smile on his face as he take off his jacket for me and wrap around me. “Rowoon, Ro Eun. I’m sorry.” “What is she dreaming of. who is Ro Woon, and Ro Eun?” then I woke up. “Mr. Lee, you still here.” I asked him as my face was puff up. “Are you done with the paperwork I give you this afternoon.” He said. “I’m nearly done I have to type all this in the document first.” I said. “Get up and go wash yourself.” He said. With a cold voices. I got up and clean myself fresh. “Let’s go home, I take you home, finish tomorrow.” He grab hold of my hand. As he drive me home. “Mr. Lee, thank you for the ride.” I said. Then I suddenly remember I forget to pick up Ro Woon and Ro Eun.

As he left the car I took the taxi to pre school. The teacher wasn’t there. Where is everyone there nobody here. “Miss Kim, What you doing here? Class ended 5 hour ago.” I look at the teacher. “I’m sorry, I have so many thing to do and my job is harder for me. Where is Ro Woon and Ro Eun?” I ask her. “They left awhile ago with Miss Yang.” Oh okay I got it. “Thank you so much.” “Miss Kim, I would like to talk to you about some stuff. As you may know Ro Woon and Ro Eun are great kids, but they still lack with their time. You need to make a payment for their food and school.” Oh shit I forgot to pay for school when I register for them. “I’m so sorry for this Mrs. Han. I will pay you tomorrow if you don’t mind.” I don’t even know how hard raising two kids feel.

“I know, you are a single mother with two kid but it is your responsibility to provide and help them with the need.” I got what she mean but I can’t understand I’m trying my hard time to work. “I will assure you that from now on.” as soon as I got home. Ro Woon, Ro Eun Mommy home. Where could they be. “Ro Woon, Ro Eun. Mommy home guys.” Could they have falling asleep. I check in their bed. “They sound asleep.” I went into their room to check on my baby. As I kiss them a good night. “Ro Woon, Ro Eun mommy very sorry, I won’t let this happen again.” I left the room.

The next morning I woke up the door bell rang.

“Morning, Ye Won Kim.” Hye Rin Yang said with happiness. “What bring you here today.” I said. “Ye Won Kim, for your information I am here to bring Ro Woon and Ro Eun to school of course. Where were you yesterday? You didn’t pick up the kid so I got a called from the teachers.” She walk in so elegantly. “My boss handed my so much work so I have to work overtime.” She laughed cracking up so bad. “You mean you work overtime, but still you could have text me to pick them up.” She yell at me, do you know what could have happened if I wasn’t there with the kids. “I’m so sorry, I’m just busy with work that I didn’t get a chance to text you.” Hye Rin pull me in and give me a hug. “It’s fine, I will pick up Ro Woon and Ro Eun if you busy.” She smiles at me. As my kid woke up from their sleep. “Mommy, they started calling me.” I went to their room. “What up baby.” I gave my baby a hug “Where were you yesterday teacher couldn’t get a hold of you.” I give them my warm hug. “I’m sorry baby, mommy busy with work she couldn’t pick you up from school.” As Hye Rin came in the room. “It’s okay your mother is busy working to learn money to take care of you both. From now on your favorite auntie will pick you up from school until mommy get home okay.” They nodded, “then can we get Icecream too auntie.” she smiled with them. “Sure, we can get Icecream after school.” As we all get ready for breakfast. “I don’t know what to say Hye Rin. Thank you so much .” I feel guilty for putting Hye Rin with so much. Hye Rin is my best friend since we were born. We grow up together for a long times after my mom passed away my dad remarried Hye Rin was the only one who help and supported me. After everything just encounter with my life like this. My Ex Boyfriend Han Jun Park and my step sister Yu Ju Kim corrupted me and drug me. I don’t have anyone left on my life beside Hye Rin. I owe so much to Hye Rin she alway been by my side for so long. She even help me raised Ro Woon and Ro Eun since they were born. She is like a close relative member to me. “Don’t worry about it girls, we been friend for 25 years you are consider like my sister and my best friend of course I’m willing to help you.” I feel like tear is falling from my eyes. “But what about you?” She asked me “Are you going to be alright raising two kids.” She asked me a question I never thought about. It been awhile since I been able to take care of my baby like this. I been able to raised Ro Woon and Ro Eun for 5 year for them to grow up being happy. I don’t think there is a time I couldn’t. “I’m alright, as long as I get to live with my baby with me for the rest of my life I don’t mind working hard for my kids. All I want is for them to be happy.” Hye Rin look at me as she was eating her food. “Look Ye Won, you are a wonderful mother in this world. I’m know you do a great job raising both Ro Woon and Ro Eun perfectly. But have you ever thought of looking for their dad.” She asked me so unexpected. “Look for their dad.” I don’t even know where to start. It’s been long enough since I know. “To be honest I don’t know.” I said. “Gosh am I angry it all because you stupid *** sister and ex boyfriend? I am piss off with them.” She seem so angry for me but what can I do. “I feel bad for you, you’re mom haven’t pass away that long and then your dad brought another women home. With his own kids to.” Hye Rin been so nice to me I don’t even know if I ever could thank her this much for everything she done for me.

“I know you angry for me but I think I’m living a good life with my kids. Who care if they don’t have a father I think I am more enough for my children.” Hye Rin continued to eat as she bring my kids to school. “Baby, Remember Auntie Hye Rin will pick you up okay. Call me if you need anything? Remember what mommy said, you can’t go with anyone else unless it is mommy or auntie Hye Rin here okay? There bad people in this world so make sure you wait for mommy or auntie Hye Rin to pick you up from school.” They nodded as I give them a kiss goddbye. After Hye Rin and the kid left I went to change for work. I also clean the dish and got out of the house. I drove my car to work. I’m gonna be late again it was almost 8. As I got to work I run up the stairs because I can’t wait for the damn elevator I’m gonna get in trouble. As I run up I’m bumped into my boss Lee Se Hyeok. “Miss Kim. It is 8:05 you are 5 minutes late.” He said with a cold hearted voice. “Mr. Lee I’m sorry I was on my way but traffic.” He look at me “Are you making another excuse. I will deduct half your salary.” He said as he went inside. “Wait Mr. Lee.” I called out this is unfair. “What am I supposed to do?” My face was very angry. “Listen up everyone, we have two person who will be working in our department today they was working below us now they will come join our department.” Mr Lee announced, who could have just come work in this Cosmetic company. “Hello, I am Yu Ju Kim.” “And I am Han Jun Park.” The voice sound familiar as I look. Oh NO! My expression Yu Ju look at me. She was smiling toward my direction. I can’t believe I would be working with this two asshole. I try to avoid them as much as I can. I was focusing on my paperwork that I need to hand in to Mr. Lee. I am all done with the paperwork now I need to hand it to Mr. Lee I went to his office but got pull by Yu Ju and Han Jun. “How have you been Unnie.” She called me smiling as if we are closed. “Good, What about you Yu Ju Kim.” I am very annoyed with her being all fake. “Unnie it been a while since I’ve seen.” Yeah being fake I can’t stand them anymore. “How you been Ye Won Kim.” Han Jun asked of me. “Great, Thank you for asking. Now I am busy so you both stay away from me.” I left them and went into Mr Lee office.

(Knock Knock)

“Come on in.” I went inside the office ”Mr. Lee, I am done with the paperwork you assign me.” I handed to him the paperwork. Then I decided to leave. “Miss Kim.” He called me from behind. “Are you okay.” He asked me quietly. “Yes, I’m fine why you asked?” He didn’t said anything at all. “You come late today and yesterday so I’m wondering is there any problem at home.” I didn’t want to say anything. “I good, it’s just that I busy handling thing at home and at work so I don’t have time to go back and forth. Plus I live far from here so it take me half an hour to get here.” he look at me . “Mr. Lee, can I leave for a bit.” I asked him, “what the problem, are you done with your work?” I nodded “I have to do something I make sure I work extras hard if you just let me leave for a bit everyday at 3:00.” I said, he nodded his head “Then go ahead and leave but come back and do your work.” I glared at him. “Thank you Mr. Lee. I will work hard don’t worry about it.” As I leave I went to pick up Ro Woon and Ro Eun. I drove them home and feed them. “Ro Woon, Ro Eun mommy have to go back to work so can you behave yourself when I’m gone. Auntie Hye Rin will be here right now?” Ok I’m gonna leave bye bye.

(Lee Se Hyeok POV)

Mr. Oh can you come in for a second,

“Yes Sir,” Mr. Oh do you know anything about Miss Kim. I wonder why Miss Kim been late and been acting so strange this day. “I don’t know much about Miss Kim, but she is a good person after all. She graduate high school with a good diploma and went to a great college but from what Investigate about Miss Kim. She drop out of college after 2 year.” Hummmm. Miss Kim there is so much about you I wonder what is going on around your world. “You said she drop out college after 2 years? What was the problem that she drop out college?” Miss Kim I want to know more about her why do I feel so curious of this women. “Well I don’t really know what happened but Miss Kim was a rich girl from a rich family but after her mother pass away her father remarried she have a step sister and step mother who she live with but after she graduated high school she left that house. I don’t even know much but I heard something happen to her so she have to quite college.” That all I needed to hear but from what I want to know more about Miss Kim. “Can you invest more about Miss Kim backgrounded for me. I need you to find more about Miss Kim.” My eye glazed at Mr. Oh for some reason I look onto Miss Kim resume, she have good grade and is good at everything but what is wrong. “ you can leave now.”

As I arrive back at work I’m was stutteing hopefully that Mr. Lee didn’t know I came late I was suppose to come back at 3:30 but I spend an hour driving back and forth. “Ye Won Kim, can you come and assistance me with some paperwork.” Yu Ju Kim handed me all of the paperwork. “Unnie you better help me with all this or else. I’m gonna make your life miserable then before.”
