chapter 3: Agreement

“Kruu!Kruu!”

Nature greeted me the moment I opened my eyes,first thing in the morning.

Well, this is nice…I thought brother scary and annoying words are the first ones I’m going to hear.Thinking about it,give me a chill all over my body!

”Haaa,Is this my punishment for always messing around?”I asked to myself.

The day is just about to begin but I'm already tired.

“Kian, Are you awake?”I heard Brother's voice asking.

Speaking of the devil,he sure has a lot of spare time for keeping his eye on me.

Though I’m not sure if Mom and Dad told him to do so,I'm sure they knew about Reiga coming back.

“What? Pretending to be asleep,dear Brother?”He added.

Damn it,I really hope that I never get a chance to wake up again.

I feel like I’m not living anymore!

Poor me,

”Alright,I’m coming out!”I said.

"Even though I don’t really want to see your face!"I feel like I'm about to say that.

“Ha! It's a good thing you decided to get out all by yourself,I’m about to go in and drag you out!”Brother said with a smile on his face.

Why is he so happy?Is torturing me really that satisfying for him?

”Ha!You look creepy when you smile so,cut it out Brother!”I said to mock him.

”Y-youu,what did you just say?!”Brotter uttered, and reacted the way I expected him.

Eversince kid,he hated it when someone’s saying that he looks creepy with a smile.

”Tsk!Hurry up and go downstairs,the food is getting cold!”He said, annoyed,then left after.

I went to the bathroom and soaked in a bath.

After I finished,I went downstairs and saw my brother waiting and not touching his food.

”What the heck Brother!You could’ve just eaten first and stopped wasting your time.”I said out of annoyance.

He makes me feel guilty for enjoying myself in the bath,while he’s been waiting for me to arrive!

“Why? You feel guilty don’t you?”He said with a smile on his face.

”As if!”I denied.

We started eating without minding each other.After I finished eating I stood up and went to my room.

I stood behind the door of my room and waited for my brother to leave.

”Gramps, I hope you’d look after my little Brother.”I heard my Brother talking to old Butler.

The hell!

What does he think of me?

A little kid that needs to be looked after?!

Great Brother,Damn it!You're really taking your responsibilities of being my brother to heart.I heard his footsteps walking towards my room, so I hurriedly jumped on bed.

He knocked on my door and informed me of his leaving.

“Kian?I’m going to the company,I’ll see you after work.”I just listened at him and didn’t say a word.

A silence occurred for us for a while.

“Bang!”

I startled after Brother kicked the door.

“You brat,say goodbye so I can know if you're still alive!!”He shouted.

The heck!

Don't he know that I'm already pissed off because of his damn presence?!

”Damn you Brother!”I walked out of my room and confronted him.

“If you're going to leave,then leave.Are you planning to knock my door down?!”I shouted back at him.

“You!"Brother expression darkened.

"Dear little brother,did you just curse your Big Brother?!”He said with an annoyed smile on his face.

Oh crap!I’ve lost it.

”N-no,no!"I denied.

Dear Brother,how dare I?!”I said as I bow down on my knees, trying to get back what I've said.

”Oh? Did I just misheard it?”He asked himself, confused.

H-he really bought it?!

I stood up and looked at him. His assistant walks in and informs him that they’re going to be late.

”Well then,I have to go.No need to see me off!”Brother turned his back and waved his hand at me.

“Haa,Finally able to get rid of him.Now it’s time to go out and have fun!”I sneaked out of my room and noticed that there’s no one at the main door, so I hurriedly went out.

”Why is my life so hard?I just wanted to meet my friends!”I complained.

But fortunately I already managed to escape from their eyes.

”Hmmm,I’m finally able to get out of the house.Nice!”I said with my hand stretched.

“So,Kian! Why are you out here?I told you no need to see me out!”I heard a familiar voice say.

I turned around and saw my brother smirking while looking at me.

”W-wooaahh!B-brother?!''I was shocked and didn't manage to say my words properly.

I noticed that my shirt and hair have some stranded leaves on it.How careless I am,and now I’m caught red-handed.

I fixed myself up,and since it’s already here and there’s no way that I could deny things,maybe admitting it might work.

”Fine.I sneaked out,I admit!But I failed anyway, so I don’t deserve a punishment.Im going back!”I turned my back and left, without even bothering to look back and tried to act cool outside.

But the inside of me is praying hard.

"Oh God! Please touch the heart of my Brother and tell him not to stop me!He's scary!"I'm crying while praying and begging that brother won’t stop me.

While on Kian's brother's side...

“Hmmm? My Little Brother has grown up and already knows how to turn his back on his Brother!”Kian's brother said, smirking.

“Vice president, I'm sure your brother just wanted to go out so much.Please don’t take it to heart.”His bodyguard tried to comfort him.

“Haa, I’m so proud of him!"Kian's brother said and turned his back and got inside the car.

His bodyguard was confused for a moment there.

Wai-what?I thought the Vice President was angry.What a weird family they have.

“Let’s go now!”Kians brother said to his dazed out bodyguard.

“Yes,sir!”He hurriedly got in.

At The Mansion…...

What bad luck,I got caught!

But tomorrow will be another day,I’m not going to give it up that easily!

Despite the real situation I decided not to give up,I want my Brother to realize that I’m not a kid and have my own free will!

On the next day,as usual, Brother knocked on my door to wake me up.

I took a bath and went downstairs to have breakfast. We didn’t talk about yesterday.Well,he didn’t bring it up in the conversation and decided to not talk about it, whatever he wanted!

After we ate,I went to the garden and observed the places where there were some guards positioned.And then went back to my room.

After Brother went outside,for he had something important to deal with,I looked for a chance to at least be able to go and take a look at things that are happening outside.

”I feel like I’m a prisoner with my situation right now” I, again sneaked out,but this time I’m more careful than before.

"Oh,crap!I almost got caught."I said as I tried my best to get away as far as possible.

I managed to avoid being caught by guards.

I continued to walk silently until I reached far enough from home.

“Phew!This time I really am lucky.”I said after I managed to get away.

No,not lucky at all.

When I called mom and dad and told them everything that happened,they went to my Brother's side!

Kian And His Mom's Conversation…...

“Really Kian?! Your brother did that?!”Mom said in a loud tone after she heard how my Brother reprimanded me.

“Yes, absolutely Mom.But no worries I still can handle things!''I said in a pitiful way,hoping that Mom would get and scold Brother for what he’s been doing.

“As expected from my son, still tough as ever!"Said by Mom being proud of me.

”Well since you can handle it,no need for me to worry!”She said, which was opposite to what I thought her reaction would be.

W-what?! Damn it!It didn’t turn out the way I expected it to be.

“Bye Son,love you always!”Then she hung up the phone.

At The Street….

How unfortunate!

But at least right now I’m finally outside of that cage that kept getting on my way to do the things that I want.

Such beautiful and refreshing scenery.

I saw from outside different types of people enjoying their day inside the different shops.

You could say that the world is really lively.

I continue walking while humming.

And wondering about my eyesight.

After a while I noticed a black Porsche parking not so far away from me.

If my memory serves right,that car belongs to,

“Hi!Dear Little Brother! Where are you going?!Hop in, I'll give you a ride!``said Brother.

I knew it!

It's such bad luck to run into him right now.

“Thanks but no thanks!I can go by myself.”I said calmly with my hand on my forehead,

thinking,'' What?! What the hell is Brother doing here?! Didn’t he go to the meeting with the person on the call earlier?!"

“Oh?!You can go by yourself because I can’t help you in making trouble?!”He said, smirking.

And of course,he saw right through me.

“I know I could be dense sometimes but not every time.I can also know what’s in your mind, Kian!''He sneered.

“Hey!Did I say that you're dense?!You’re the one who said it to yourself,big Brother!”I said to mock him.

”And also just to make it clear,I didn’t intend to make trouble in the past,I’m just clumsy.”Said by me protecting myself.

“Oh,Then Mom and Dad lied to me?!Wait a moment.”He said, then got his phone from his pocket.

“Wait,what are you doing?!”I asked.

”Making a phone call.”He said honestly.

”Isn’t it obvious?!”Then he showed me the number he was dialing.

A familiar number.

“Why are you calling Dad?!”I asked.

Is his business not done yet,but take care of keeping an eye on me first?!

“I have something to ask.”He answered and then continued on.

”Look! If your business isn't done yet,go back and finish your job.”I beckoned.

He's just wasting his time.

“Didn’t you say that they’re badmouthing you in front of me a little while ago?!"

”What?When did,oh? That?!”Said by me, remembering my words that I said to him earlier.

A Little While Ago…..

"I didn’t intended to make trouble in the past,I’m just clumsy!"I said

“Ehh?!But that’s just,”I uttered.

Crap,If my father found out that I made him look like a liar,I’m doomed for sure!

Damn it!

Looks like there's no other way.

“Say it.What do you want?!”I said out loud.

“Huh?! What are you saying? I-”He never gets a chance to finish what he’s about to say, cause I interrupted him.

”Stop with your act, Brother.I know that you knew that I’m up to something.I actually know that you knew I’m just putting up an act either.I knew you know, from the very start.Come on!I'm still your one and only little Brother after all! I saw it all already,but I just turned my back on it and still continued my bullsh*it!”I said coldly.

I put my hands in my pocket.

”So?Say it!”I added.

“Well it’s been so long since we talked like this, face-to-face right?!”Brother said.

I just stared at him,and didn't say anything.

“How about we make an agreement, Kian?!"He said.

"Go ahead Brother,I'm listening!"I said.

He smiled.

"Here,you can go outside as much as you want!I won’t interfere in your business,I won’t stop you nor keep you inside the mansion!”He offered.

The words that he says are quite nice things to hear for me….but he and Dad are both sweet talkers,they have many similarities,they are not working on the business circle for nothing!

“So, what in exchange for all of those?!”I asked suspiciously.

He chuckled.

“You know me well,there’s an exchange for it,of course! You can do everything as you please outside,but it’s all up to me inside the house.But,to be fair I won’t make you do anything that seems offensive to you.”He answered, sincerely.

”So,deal?!”He asked.

“So,is that all?Then I agree!”I answered.

Brother offered his hand to shake hands.I know I’m dealing with one of the most cunning business man in the whole Asia but,

I accepted his hand and shook it with mine.

Your intelligent brother,you made me walk right into your trap through this agreement!
