Chapter 2: A storm after another

“Where’s mom and dad?”I asked as I walked out of my room.

”Young Master,Master and Madam said that they'll be out for work.And also said to remind you to eat breakfast,"Old Butler answered.

I go downstairs to the kitchen.

”Haaa,then, please bring the food in.”I said as I walked to the table.

Even though they care for me,this kind of thing cannot be avoided, their life isn’t all about me after all.The whole company, and it’s employees,have a lot of responsibilities on their shoulder.I can just make some troubles and catch their attention for a while but,

A down expression was on my face after thinking about it,but faded and changed into an excited one after a while.

Well,it is still a good thing for me not to be here.

”Haa,I’ll get another chance to mess around this whole day!!”I said with my hands stretched.

”And also,Young Master, your Father ordered us to bring you to the company,even if it causes our lives!It's Master's order for us to bring you inside the company no matter what it takes."Old Butler said.

I was shocked that I almost spit the water in my mouth out because of what he said.

"Eh? Gramps aren't you exaggerating?!"I said as I wiped my mouth.

What the heck?!Even if it causes their lives,no matter what it takes?!

Wow,Does this really have to come to this?!

Now this is getting more and more serious,Darn it!

What is this all about this time,Dad?!

At Kian's Dad Office,the temperature suddenly dropped.

“Achooo!!”Kian's Dad sneezed suddenly.

“Honey,are you alright?!”Kian's Mom asked, worriedly.

“Mr.cha ,you should take care of your health,considered it as a part of being the president of the whole company”His secretary reminded him

“As If you’re the one to talk,Mr.secretary.”Kian's Mom said, kidding.

“Haaa,this is nothing I'm sure someone’s cursing me in his mind.”Kian's Dad said while he put his two hands to support his cheek.

“Huh?"Both Kian's Mom and his secretary barely said, confused.

At the Company,Kian was really annoyed to the max.

What the heck my life really is!

Even though I don’t like being here, I still came.

“What do you think about the idea,Mr.kian?”I heard mister,who is he again?

****!I don’t give a freaking damn of whoever he is,all I know is I don't like being here!I was just forced to come!

Damn it!How did it come to this?!

I remember earlier,

”Young Master,I’ve been serving your whole family since the current Master took over your Grandpa’s company,I can’t afford to lose this job. So please!!Please, Young Master, even though I am not in any position to make any request, considering the past times that I served your whole family,I beg you from the bottom of my heart!!”Old Butler begged with tears.

"Ehh?”I sighed.

I put my hand on my forehead because I can't believe what's happening.

Dad, you really know how to make people do everything as you wish they would.What a difficult situation.

”Please,stand up now Gramps. Even Though I’m a hardheaded one, I cherish important memories and people. I cannot afford to lose you either!”I said with both hands in my pocket and eyes looking outside of the window.

”Young Master,"He said.

"Don’t worry,it’s all my fault why Dad threatened you with your position in this family,but I’m sure he values someone like you.He doesn't mean it.”I said while giving my eyesight back at him.

But what could be that he wanted me to go to the Company so much?

So I decided to go and have a look.

I went inside my room,to my closet.

"Now,what should I wear? Maybe a hoodie jacket would be fine."I said to myself as I tried it on.

After I finished in my room I got my car keys and went downstairs.

"Young Master,May I ask where are you going?"Old Butler greeted me with a question.

"Where else?To the company of course!"I answered.

"Uhmm,I'm not judging your style, Young Master,but,you are going to the company and not in a bar or something. You should at least be presentable."He said politely, then gave a sign to the maid.

"Young Master."Said the maid as she gave me a new pressed suit.

"You should wear this instead,Young Master."Said the old Butler.

Since he's just worrying for my sake,I did what he told me.

I hopped on the car seat and put my seatbelt on.After I arrived,the guard escorted me to the venue,where all of Dad's business partners gathered to talk about the new branch of the company,the kind of thing that I hated the most,meeting.

And now,I'm trapped in here!

If I had known earlier ,I wouldn't give it a second thought to be here!

”Kian?”I heard one of my dad’s business partners say.

”Mr. Kian Cha?!”He repeated.

”Yes,yes.I’m here! "I slap myself back to the current situation.

"Now,where are we?!"I asked.

"Huh?Are you okay Kian?!"One worriedly asked.

"Uh?Yes of course,I'm fine!"I assured them.

Then, all of them focused on the meeting.

Dad I’d better have a talk with you after here.

”The only problem right now is the site where we're going to construct the new building of this branch.''The Mister continued.

”Hmm-rmm!!"I cleared my throat and all of them looked at me.

”So,you're saying that we're all sitting down here while the real problem is lying down out there?Are you all really using your minds!Do you expect the solution to come knocking on your doors?!”I lectured.

Of course I’ll always find a way to end things,no need to bother looking for answers for them.

”What are you all waiting for?Christmas?”I added.

”Of course ,Mr.cha,we’ll find a solution for this right."He said.

" Now then, let's end our meeting here!”I said.

They fixed their things up and walked out of the place.

"Haaaa,problem solved.”I said.

"Wow!So this is what it feels like to be seated at Dad's seat."I said as I laid my back on the chair for a moment.

"But,being the owner is very tiring,no matter how comfortable his seat is."I said while looking at the ceiling.

I got my coat from the chair,then left a few minutes later.

The suit and tie made me uncomfortable so I removed it and threw it in the trashcan after I got out.

”How did Dad manage to wear that thing?I feel out of breath after I wore it for just a couple of hours.”I complained.

As I walked out,I noticed that all of the girls in the company were staring at me.I also heard them gossiping about something, but not sure of what it was about.

”Whatever,just leave it at that.”I walked to the front desk and got the keys of my car,and then to my car. I drove full speed home.

I'm finally back at the mansion,after an hour but it feels like forever for me!

“Has Mom and Dad finally come back?!”I asked.

”Not yet, Young Master."Old Butler answered.

I sighed, before taking steps to the direction going to my room.

”Young Master,I owe you this one. I'll repay your kindness someday!”He said after bowing down.

I stopped.

”No need,I owe you,and not you owe me.I just helped myself this time.Sorry,I always created troubles for you Gramps!”I answered him.

I entered my room, plopped down myself to the bed,and checked my phone.

After a little while, the maid knocked on my door and told me that dinner was served,and that Mom and Dad were already downstairs waiting for me.I changed the clothes that I’m wearing then went downstairs after a while.

I saw them both waiting for me to arrive along with many vacant and beautiful chairs.

I sat near mom and got the fork and knife.

”Kian,I have something to tell you.”Dad said at the very moment I took a seat.

”Oh,You want to apologize for threatening me using an old Butler? Or you want me to apologize for being rude towards your business partners? Make it quick Dad.”I said in an irritated tone.

”Oh?I threatened you using the Old Butler?”He asked with a confused face.

Huh,Why is he confused now? Wasn't he who ordered old Butler to bring me to the company no matter what?!

I am totally confused at the whole situation as to how Dad was.

I looked at old Butler and saw him smiling awkwardly and seemed uneasy.

Eh?!

"Y-young Master, actually it is not true that your Dad warned me that he'll do such a thing.Im sorry Young Master!"He apologized.

He kneeled down right in front of me.

"I heard that Madam and Master are having a problem for they are short of time because of a busy schedule,so I dared to lie to you to be able to at least lessen their problems.But I know what I did was out of the line.Despite your kindness and how you showed me how you care for me in this family.Actually,at the moment right after you've left,I'm being bothered by my conscience seeing the effort you've done.Im wrong, please punish me!"He confessed.

"Ehh?"Now it's clear….

"Puff!"I laughed after hearing what he had said.

I can't believe that there's someone who can play tricks on me without even being suspicious!

"The hell Gramps,you've ruined my reputation of being the number one prankster in this house!"I put my arms around his neck.

"I didn't even see through your actions!"I said as I wiped my tears laughing so hard.

"Don't mind it,I don't mind it at all!"I said as I helped him up.

"Thank you Young Master!"He said.

I looked at Mom and Dad.

"Then, I won't bother your dinner anymore."He bowed, then left after.

I sitted back in my chair.

"Looks like someone is much better than you son."Mom teased me.

"I didn't see that coming."I said calmly.

"So,back to you Dad,what is the thing that you're going to say again?"I asked.

I looked at him while he still couldn't get over and laughed about the fact that Gramps tricked me.

"Hmm?"I just looked at him and waited for him to say something.

“Hm-rmm!"He cleared his throat.

"Oh, right.Then, let me tell you that Me and your Mom are going on a business trip,and it won’t take just a week but a month.”Dad informed me.

My eyes widened,and I was dazed for a moment.

“Don’t worry Kian, we'll find a way to make it short and go back home as soon as possible.”Mom said in a sad tone.

”No worries Mom,take your time.You and Dad can enjoy your trip.Don't worry about me!''I insisted.

Two months?I feel like my ears and heart are jumping out of excitement!

”Then, if you don’t have anything to say, let's continue eating,shall we?”I suggested.

I got a slice of beef.

”Wow!Who is our new cook?!I’ve never tasted such a delicious dish before!”I praised.

“Kian,you seemed in a good mood,you even bothered to get to know our kitchen Chef?!”Dad said while smiling.

”Huh,You don’t know me so well Dad.I’m always like this!”I said, pointing my thumb at myself.

Actually a lie! I am not always like this,but with such great news,there’s no way I could hide my excitement!

After we finished our dinner,I hurriedly ran to my room and jumped and laughed all I wanted without holding my excitement back.

”Wow,Is it my birthday?! What a priceless present I received.No Mom and Dad to control and keep a close eye on what I’m doing!”I said aloud,and excited.

“Our son must be very sad right now after hearing us leaving.See?I even hear him shouting inside his room."Kian's Dad said, sighing.

“Honey,you must be dreaming.”Kian's mother cut him out.

“Then let me dream free a little bit longer.He even told me that I don't know him so well?What a funny little thing my son is.”His Dad said while nodding his head.

“Puff!He doesn't know that the more dangerous storm is coming back to his way after we leave. Reiga’s flight is at 2:30 pm right?''Kian's Mom said,while looking at the wall clock.

“Yeah!I bet Kian will be surprised! It’s a pity that we can’t fetch him from the airport."Kian's Dad said, regretful.

“I wonder how Kian will react.Haaa…Sad to say that we are not here to see that moment."Kian's Mom said, frowning.

On The Next Day…….

Finally the morning came,the most awaiting time of my life.I went downstairs to see if Mom and Dad already left.

”......Master.”I heard our Butler talking to someone at phone

”Gramps,Whom are you talking to?”I asked him suspiciously.

He hung the call up and greeted me.

”Good morning,Young Master.Im talking to a long time friend of mine.I hope I didn't disturb your sleep."He answered.

"Do you by any chance need something, Young Master?"He asked.

"Has Mom and Dad already gone for their business trip?”I asked him.

“Yes,they left early in the morning,”He answered.

I turned my back and walked to the window.

”Is the breakfast ready?”I asked with my eyes looking outside.

”Yes,do you want me to inform the maids to serve it on the table?”He answered.

“No.I don’t feel like having breakfast today.Tell them that you all can have your breakfasts.”I instructed him.

I want to go outside today.

As I walked in the hallway to the main door,I saw all the maids gathered.

“What the heck!I’m just going out to have some fun,no need for you all to see me out!”I said smiling,while waving at them.

“Can you at least tell your Big Brother where are you going ?!'' I heard a familiar voice said.I looked straight at the person talking.

”Bro-ther?!”I saw Brother standing while carrying his luggage.

”Did you miss me?!”He said while smiling at me.

Oh, God,please tell me that I’m just seeing things!

The Next day…..

"Good no one's around."I said while looking for a chance to sneak out.

"Where do you think you're going, Little Brother?!"I turned my back and saw Brother smiling at me.

"Come on,I cooked something for you.Let's go!"Without waiting for my answer,he just dragged me to the kitchen.

"Woah!Hey,don't carry me like a sack of rice!"I complained.

"Oh,Do you want to be carried like a princess?"He asked with a devilish smile.

"Eh?"

Not the best day at all!

Mom,Dad, please come back as soon as possible!
