Ace's P.O.V

“Kian,you're going out of line!How can you do that in front of our guests!”Dad burst out in anger.

“Well Dad, it is nothing 'ya know?As if it’s a big deal for someone as high and mighty as you.” I said while smirking.

"You just got out of bed but all you know is how to make trouble first thing in the morning! Don't you know who he is?He's your uncle,uncle!You hear that brat? And yet,you dared to talk back against him?!"Dad scolded me.

Yeah,yeah.I just got out of my bed and here he is, scolding me after dragging me inside my room.

"Ugghh!Dad,stop yelling,you're talking to someone with clear and good hearing!And besides,he's my uncle so he can let this one slide,right?"I defended.

"With good hearing but having an empty brain.Anyway,I'll call him.You embarrassed him in front of everyone,you need to apologize!"Dad said.

"No way!You call him and apologize by yourself,don't drag me in,Dad.I'm really annoyed by those words that he said to me,I'm not in a mood!"I refused.

”Kian,you,"He sighed.

"How hardheaded you are!”Dad slammed the door as he walked out.

”Haaa…Why am I always getting a lecture from Dad as a morning greeting?It's their fault for being so annoying first thing in the morning!”I sighed as I shook my head.

After being scolded I could never bow down and repent.

“As if! What’s the point of having a lot of money? Life is about having fun!”I smirked.

Sometimes, I also get tired of it, but what’s the point of feeling so disappointed about it?

I jumped on the bed and was pulled by drowsiness and fell asleep again.

Here it is again, the same dream.

“Kian, I heard that you attended the birthday party for the one and only Princess of France last Saturday, did you get a chance to meet the Royal family?“Asked by Kid whom I used to play with.

“Of course not!Not only did I get the chance to meet them but I also danced with the princess!" I answered in a loud and proud tone.

“So? How was it Kian?Tell us!``asked another kid.

“I’m sure it felt normal like how you felt when dancing with the other girl,am I right?”Said by another kid who is always mocking me.

Actually I don’t know anything about them, I’m just coming here to show off, but this kid is always getting in my way! I always hated that kid, it seems that he doesn't want to see me happy.

”Hey! Why do you always kill the joy,e?!”Yeah,I always hated him. Always.

I woke up when the sunlight kissed my face and made me uncomfortable. It’s too hot for me to tolerate

I didn’t even realize the time. I got out of bed and washed my face. I heard my Dad and his old butler talking loudly, seriously, ”Arrgghh!why is it so noisy!”I opened the door of my room, we have money but my room is not even sound proof! I walked down the stairs and caught my father’s attention. He just stared at me for a minute and left without saying anything. Well, he was still angry.

“Young master, may I ask where are you going? “Said our Butler.

“Where else? Maybe out to have fun?!"I said in a mocking tone.

“Young Master, Your father said, he’ll have an important guest and needs you to entertain them for a while. "He said quickly.

"Oh? Please, can you tell me who am I ?”I asked.

“Young master, you are our young Master.”He said honestly.

I scoffed.

“Exactly! I am the young master of this house and not some kind of entertainer. I will leave now,see you then!” I wave as I leave him speechless.

” Now,time to continue the fun!” I went outside and made another trouble that I’m sure,ninety nine percent,my parents will scold me for again. But, whatever, I feel so bored at home, I feel like I’m a prisoner! Nothing will beat this scenery from outside.It feels like a wide world that is waiting to be discovered.

“What,what did you say? What did Kian just do?!”The woman was shocked from what she heard.

”Madam, we’ve tried our best to stop him but.”The maid tried to explain but the woman interrupted her.

”Enough with the excuses! Call Mr.Baek. We need to fix this as soon as possible!”

”Yes, Madam. ”The maid quickly obeyed her command.

"Madam, the Young Master is here.”Said our maid,informing my mother.

”Let him in!"Mother answered In a furious tone.

”Yes Ma’am.”The maid answered.

”Mother, I was just out for a moment but already thinking of you. Maybe it’s because the blood that’s running through my veins came from you and Dad!"I said in a praising voice,meant for me to be cute in front of my Mother.

”You brat!"I saw Mom clenching his fist.

"Stop with that damned act!You dare to speak regarding that darn blood of yours?!”She furiously shouted at me.

After she said that, she let out a deep breath and sitted down.

”Haaa. Seriously?where did you get that manners and attitude of yours?I bet you dad wasn’t like that back then.”She added.

“Don’t know mom,we're not sure if,”

”I said it because I’m sure!!''I didn’t even get a chance to finish what I’m about to say because Mom interrupted me.

”Then I got it all from you Mom?!”I said quickly,trying to turn the table around.

”Well,back then I’m, wait a minute. You brat! You're always turning the situation around!"She yelled with her finger pointed at me.

"Haaa."Mom sighed.

" Nevermind, your Dad invited his old friend and he’ll bring his son.I hope you’ll get along well with him. ”Mom said.

”But, Mom!” Mom winked at me before closing the door.

”Oh nice! This is what I get for enjoying so much." I rubbed my hair into a mess.

"Huh!They can just invite someone and dine in a restaurant. Why should I also need to pay respect to their business partners?"I complained.

After that, I entered the bathroom and washed myself up.

While inside of the bathroom,I heard someone knocking on my door.

”Young Master! Master and Madam expected guest’s are all here.”Said by our Butler.

”Tell them to wait for a moment,I’ll be done in a minute!”I said.

”Yes, Young Master!”He said,then left after.

Not so long after our Butler left, I was also finally done fixing myself up and ready to go downstairs.I asked the maids where the guests are.

"Young Master."Said the maid.

I stroked my clothes to remove its fold.

"Where's Mom and Dad?"I asked.

"They're having a conversation with the guests in the living room, Young Master."She answered politely.

"Okay, thanks!"I said while walking away to the living room.

After I got there,I knocked at the door three times.

“Mom?Dad?May I-”I heard the thing that they were talking about, which made me unable to continue what I’m about to say.

”Mr.cha , your son,Kian seems to be out of his mind these days,”I heard the visitor say.

"This is my son Giou ken, he's an athlete and won countless Olympic competition.How about giving him an opportunity in your company by giving him the Cha sports company?In exchange I’ll give you that area under my name that you're planning to build one of your company branches on! ”He proudly said.

My eyes widened.

What did he just say? The Cha sports company?!That belongs to my Brother,and he entrusted me with it!

I stood still outside the door and waited for Dad's answer.

Will Dad be able to turn the offer down?But with that rare exchange for it, there’s no way a business man like dad will be able to refuse it.

”Oh? How generous of you!”Dad replied.

I knew it! Dad won’t,But that’s one of the most important things for my Brother!

"I know you'd be happy about it,Mr.Cha."The visitor said.

"But-"I didn't wait for Dad to finish his words,and barged in without permission.

“Hmmmm!What did you just say ?”I said.

I almost laughed when I saw Mom and Dad's visitor.

"Wow!I almost didn't get to see your body because your face is big and wide enough to cover my whole eyesight,Mr.Fatty!"I mocked him.

”Kian! What did you just call our visitor with?!”Mom asked.

”Mister,Fatty?”I said innocently.

”Kian!"He greeted me.

I just ignored him and looked at Dad.

"I remember the last time I saw you,you were just a small little kid”He said while still putting up his act with a fake smile.

Those words that I just said aren't enough yet for him?!Now, you're really challenging my patience.

”Now that you mentioned it,I remembered you back then,you were kind and not that big!"I said while pointing my finger at his round and fat body.

"But now,you look so round like an egg.Pfffft!Actually,you looked like a round egg on a curly pasta that I’ve been craving since this morning.And now that I see you,I feel very pleased!”I said, clapping my hands.

”You!What did you just say?!”The visitor said furiously.

I really am a genius.I made the tiger throw his mask away!

”Mr.Cha, your son is really going out of the line!I came here expecting the Cha family to treat us nicely!” He said out loud.

"Dad!"His son said while trying to stop his father from starting a scene.

But both of them are just for a show, I see through those acts of his son.Both faked.They really are father and son.

”Oh?! Didn’t you just say earlier that I seemed to be out of my mind?!"I sat near Mom and rested my back with my sight on the ceiling.

"Did you expect to be treated nicely by a person who’s out of his mind?"I said as I gave my sight back to both father and son.

"Then I’ll treat you nicely!” I said as I got the pie from the plate in front of us,and looked at them with a devilish smile.

”Both of you expected to be treated nicely by me,Huh?I couldn’t possibly disappoint the two of you.”I threw the pie that I was holding to their faces.

"Kian!"Shouted by Dad, who was shocked by what I did,while Mom's still calmly drinking her tea.

"You!"Mr. Giou uttered.

I walked closer to them.

”You.Are.Very.Welcome. If you, by any chance, wanted to be treated nicely again, feel free to come!bye!”I said deviously.

I stood up, turned my back and about to leave,when he started to talk again.

”You did that but my offer isn't close yet, and still available.What do you say Mr.Cha?You are the one to decide after all!”He said as they both cleaned their faces.

”Tsk!Still not satisfied with that?!You are an idiot for coming here!”I said with my back still turned at them and my face at the door.

Mom put down the cup with tea that she's been drinking.

”I think you're missing out on some important things, why me and my husband invited you to Mr.Giou.We'd love to give your son an opportunity based on his past achievement’s,he’s qualified for something. That area that you're talking about?We don’t care about it! We've found out that there's a lot of garbage and waste buried under that whole area,so we decided to do relocation! Regarding the Cha sports company,it’s for both of my sons to decide for.”I was surprised when Mom said that.

I turned around and saw both of them smiling.

”What the!Mom,you should’ve said earlier!”My face flushed for being embarrassed.

I really thought they were going to take and exchange the company for that area.

”That’s because you didn’t let your Dad finish the things that he’s going to say! Right honey?"She said, then looked at Dad.

”Your Mom is right.We both know how your Brother worked hard to build it.And how important it was for you."Dad smiled warmly.

"I've been bowing down to everyone when my son caused trouble for them but, I gotta say that I’m proud of him on this one.”Dad said while looking at Mr. Giou,still clenching his fist because of anger.

"I need to apologize for what my Son did.Im sorry!"Dad apologized.

"What about my offer?"The visitor said.

Wow,he sure is persistent!I looked at Dad and waited for his answer.

"Regarding your offer,I'm sorry but,I must turn it down!"Dad answered.

There was an awkward atmosphere for a while but they also managed to break it and started to talk about something else.

"If there's nothing else important to talk about,I'll excuse myself then!"I said and then left the room.

I can't manage to watch them continue their conversation as if nothing happened.I can't change my face and wear a mask to be able to coincide with them.

I saw Mom and Dad bid farewell to the guests.I decided to not join them.Well,I’m not a woman so no need to follow etiquette so much.I entered and relaxed in my own room.

“Where’s Kian?”Kian's Mom asked the Butler.

”The young master headed back to his own room before the guests left, Master.”The Butler answered politely.

“Dear, your son is a lot like you!”Kian's Dad jokes.

”You think so too?Haaaa. Maybe you're right.When will Reiga be back?!I bet Kian misses his brother so much.''Kian's Mom said,then she sat down on the couch.

”I told him to come and take a long vacation, because he said he wanted to play fencing with Kian again.”Kian's Dad replied, smiling.

”Huh!As expected from an overprotective Brother of kian.He only misses his naughty Little Brother,and forgot about his parents.Did he already learned how to cook?It’s one of those things that he promised to Kian before he left.”Kian's Mom asked while enjoying her tea.

”I hope so too or he’ll be knocked out by Kian again.Well,maybe Kian doesn't remember anymore about Reiga's promise."Kian's Dad chuckled.

"Hahaha!!You still remember? Although Kian can’t fight against his older Brother,he’ll make sure to give him a hell of a game when playing sports!"She said,can't help but to laugh smoothly.

On the other hand,while Kian's Brother was having a walk outside of the company overseas,he suddenly felt a chill on his neck.

"Achoo!!"Kian's Brother can't help sneezing.

"Vice-president are you okay? The weather seems odd these days, please take care and be careful not to catch a cold."His assistant reminded him.

"I'm alright,maybe it's just because of the sudden change of the weather!"He said ,agreeing.

While inside of their mansion their parents continue on having their small conversation.

"I hope he'll also take good care of himself,"Their mother said to their father.

"Don't worry,I'm sure Kian will discipline his Brother when he comes back here!"Kian's Dad said, assuring her.

”We really love seeing our naughty children together, aren't we?Haaa,I just hope Kian stops causing trouble!”Their Mom worriedly said.

While in Kian's room,he's still furious about the scene earlier.

“Those bullshit punks,huh! What?!Want us to give them one of the important things for us? Those idiots thinked so high and mighty of themselves.I remember that Giou Ken tried to approach me at school almost everyday last year!"I said while thinking about it.

Kian's highschool days came back to him.

"Hey,Kian!"Giou Ken startled me.

"What do you want?!"I said annoyed.

"Look!Isn't that Giou Ken from the class-A?What is he doing in the special class?!"I heard my classmates gossiping.

"I remember,he's been following Kian since he transferred, right?!"Said another.

"Even though he already knew that Kian is annoyed when he's around,he still continued to pester him!How shameless!!"They continued.

Kian can't help but to feel upset about everything.

"Back then,he never cared about what others might say. As expected,people look for someone to get a gem and not a friend.They’ll come to you once they think that you can be used for something. I never thought that the world I used to live in was fake and far from reality.

I felt a little sleepy, soI walked and plopped myself down to bed.

Unknowingly I fell asleep.

When you get to interact with someone,it creates a gold string that connects your paths.No matter how far you go, distance could never cut it out,it's your fate,connected with theirs.Thats why no matter how far they both are from each other they're still connected by the bonds they've shared.

Up to now,even in his dreams….

“Aaaaaaahhhh!Help!”Kian screamed as loud as he could but no one was coming.

"Huff,huff, Kian!What happened, are you okay?!”Ace asked at the moment he got near Kian,after hearing him screaming for help.

” Killjoy,a snake behind you!"Kian said with his trembling finger pointed at Ace's back.

Ace saw it and caught it on its neck.

"It's okay, don’t be scared!"He assured him.

"Hiss!"Kian saw the expression of pain in Ace's face but still tried to look tough when the snake bit his hand.

"Killjoy,”Kian said and tears started to form in his eyes.

”It's okay, don’t cry.”Ace tightened his grip on its neck and threw it after a while.

“Killjoy, I need to bring you to the clinic.Lets go!”Kian dragged him to the clinic.

After they got inside the room he refused to get a shot and not listening to the doctor,luckily Kian convinced him.

”Why did you call me 'Killjoy' a little while ago?”Ace asked.

”It's because you're always against fun,”Kian answered.

Then Kian sitted on the chair next to Ace inside the clinic.

”Are you afraid of snakes?”Ace asked while touching his injured arm.

”Of course, they’re poisonous!”Kian answered while peeling off the fruit that he's holding.

”Then I’ll follow you from now on, so don't go far away from me, I'll protect you!”Ace said with a smile on his face.

Even though Ace saved Kian,he thought that there’s no way that Ace meant it,why would he protect him?He’s always going against him.Kian didn't know how to react,so he just smiled and didn’t answer him.Kian knew he was just joking,he thought he was just joking.
