Chapter 2: The Destined Trio

Just when the girls thought they were done for the real hero appeared, he was quite stunning and he had the same hair color as the girl Tohru was intending to save.

"Hold it right there! " the guy said

"Huh" the man turned around and the girls were so relieved.

"Do you think a little boy like you would stop me?" the man asked but before he could say more, he froze and Tohru was shocked

The girl ran and hugged the guy who saved them

"You need to be more careful Lucy "The guy said

"Hello miss I'm Cedric and this is my twin, Lucy" The guy introduced

"I'm Tohru and thanks for saving me "

"It was no big deal any way "

"Um sorry for asking but please can you direct me to the silver moon inn? "

"Oh what a coincidence Lucy and I were heading there so you can follow us " Cedric said sweetly

"Thanks "

Cedric and Lucy with Tohru behind arrived at the silver moon inn. When they entered the inn, a dark haired lady in her late 30s rushed over to Cedric and Lucy and gave them a bear hug.

"Where did you guys go?! I was so worried. "The lady said

"We're back now. " Lucy said pushing away

" Gila look we've brought someone " Cedric said, pointing out Tohru.

"Oh it's nice to meet you. I'm Mrs. Gila "she said giving Tohru a friendly handshake.

"Yeah it's nice to meet you too. I'm Tohru and would you mind if I stay here? "

"No not at all. How long would you be staying? " Gila asked Tohru

"Dunno, I think a week or so " Tohru shrugged

"OK that'll be a bronze" Gila said

"Isn't that too cheap? I expected more" Tohru wondered.

"Ok" Tohru said checking though her money bag and handing the coin to Gila

"Thank you. Your room would be ready in the next 30-40 minutes" and with that, Gila left

"Soooo, what kind of magic do you use?" Lucy asked excitedly as they sat at a table near the window.

"Uh, actually I can't recall" Tohru lied nervously

"Oh." Lucy said, chest fallen

"Since you can't remember, we can find out. Be back in a minute" said Cedric before dashing out.

A MINUTE LATER......

Cedric came back, holding a small bag. He sat down and emptied the contents of the bag. Beautiful crystals of different colors fell out.

"What are these for? " Tohru asked, curiously

"These are gemstones—"

"Used to know what magical power you possess" Lucy completed the sentence as Cedric glared.

"It's simple to use, just hold the stone, and it glows if you can use that kind of magic. " Lucy said

"There are six types of magic used today, and normally a person is only entitled to use two, four at most" Cedric explained

"The red gemstone is fire, the green one's nature. The blue represents water, brown's earth, light the white dark as you know is the black are rare but the rarest of them is the transparent which indicates null magic as it consists of all the lost magic. It is said that no one has acquired it in this generation" Cedric went on as Tohru was awed

"Tohru, I can use nature and water" Lucy proudly said

"Well I can use fire and earth, which I reckon is far better" Cedric practically bragged

"As if! "

"Um guys," Tohru called out and their attention was back on her again.

"Can I test it out? " Tohru asked

"Yes of course" Cedric said, Lucy death glares

The test began and to Lucy and Cedric's shock and amazement, Tohru had the ability to use all the types of magic, even null magic(which shone the most).

"Wow Tohru you're amazing! "

"How is this even possible? "

"Uhh"

"Say, Tohru are you going to Magidoka High? "Lucy asked

"Uh, what's that? Is it some kind of school?"

"Seriously Tohru, what rock have you been living under? " Lucy sighed

"What my sister is trying to say is, Magidoka High is one of the best schools in the capital" Cedric pointed out

"The entrance exams are in a week. Would you like to come with us? " Lucy asked excitedly

"Yeah Id love to" Tohru replied

"Miss Tohru your room is ready. you'll stay in room 209" Gila informed her

"EEEEEEE! It's next to my room! " Lucy squealed

"That's Great"

"Come on,Tohru let me show you around town" Lucy suggested

"Ok.that sounds fun"

"It's gonna be our girls night out" Lucy said obviously excited

"You mean girls night out" Tohru corrected her.

The girls left the inn leaving Cedric alone

"Where are we going first? " Tohru asked Lucy

"There's this new eatery that opened up last week and I've been dying to go there but Mr. bossy pants Cedric wont allow. mph"

"You two seem to fight a lot"

"Yeah we do but I know he's just trying to look out for me after all we only have each other" Lucy said smiling weakly

"but sometimes I just can't take it! "

"Oh were here" Lucy said.

The eatery didn't look like much, it was not as big as either of them expected but they decided to give it a chance

A waiter showed them to their tables and handed a menu over to them

"The dishes here are very similar to my world's" Tohru thought, scanning the menu

"I'll have this one" Tohru said pointing at a picture of pasta.

"I'll have the other one " Lucy said, directing the waiter to a picture of rice and curry

"Ok.your order will be ready in the next ten minutes" The waiter informed them before he left.

Ten minutes later...

The girls were served and were even given jello for free just because they chose to eat in moonflower. For Tohru,it was the best meal she has had in years acknowledging the fact that she lives off a small box of pizza and canned spinach,and occasionally a bowl of rice. Even Lucy said the food was great and even asked for seconds.

"I'm stuffed "Lucy said rubbing her slightly protruding belly as they made their way out of the eatery

"Where to next?"Tohru asked

"Dunno, maybe we should just go with the flow "Lucy shrugged

"Yeah let's"

She and Tohru roamed around town hoping for something eye-catching to appear

Lucy spotted a mysterious stall and thought it would be fun to check it out, so she dragged Tohru to check it out with her.

They reached the mysterious stall and a lady even more mysterious than the stall greeted them in a mysty voice .

"Good day girls, would you like me to show you your status?" The lady asked, with a mysty voice.

"Yes please"Lucy piped up

"Ok, place your hands on the crystal ball"The lady instructed and Lucy instantly obeyed

In seconds, the crystal ball began to glow and the lady told Lucy to take off her hands from it. A hologram floated above the glowing crystal ball, it had some writings on it.

IQ level: Fairly low

Blessings: Level 10 from the nature god, level 8 from the water god

"Tohru you're next" Lucy said and Tohru stepped forward and did just as Lucy had done.

The crystal ball shone brightly and her stats came up

Blessings: Level 10 blessings from all the gods

Her stats came as a big shock to the lady
