Chapter 1 - Twisted Story

“Man, you’re so lucky. Check this out!”

Lancelot turned his attention to his friend calling him. Red handed him a small piece of paper with a playful smile on his face. “Too curious that I read that paper. It seems like you have another secret admirer” Red winked, pointing at him.

Lancelot opened the paper and read it with a smirk. After that, he gazed at his friend, raising his one brow. “What’s this?”

“Obviously, it’s a letter, dude. That cute girl out there just gave me that note, telling me to give it to you. Who is she? Is it your new lover?”

“You crazy? I haven’t been into a relationship” Red made himself scratched his nape after hearing his friend’s reply.

“Try to enter in a relationship, dude. You are a one handsome guy, why not use that? You attract girls but didn’t even make a single move. Come on, Lance. Make a move to the girl who is waiting for you outside. You know what, she’s cute, petite, smells good—”

“You do it since you’re interested at her. Also, I’m not a playboy like you, Red” Red twitched at him after he cut off his sentence.

“Geez, you’re mean. Hey, I only dated one girl and if she dumps me then, I’ll change her. Easy is that. So, don’t worry, I will not hit on her. She’s yours to take and do you best, okay? Tell me if you have a girlfriend, I’ll throw a party but it will be your treat” Red laughed.

Lancelot was about to throw a rant to his friend but a bell suddenly rang, it’s the end of their school hours. Red loudly clasped his hands and quickly got his bag.

“Yes! Date time with my bae! Bye dude. Hurry up! The girl is waiting for you.”

He doesn’t mind at all because all he thinks is that girl is waiting for him outside for a confession but, the longer he thinks, the more he gets anxious. He’s famous in his school due to intelligence and good-looks but, it made him quiver to the point curiosity filled inside in his brain.

The note says ‘I’ll be here waiting’

How suspicious.

The girl is waiting for him outside and the weird thing is, he hasn’t met the girl who wears dirty ragged cloak staring at him with a blank face. Lance approached her and began to ask, “H-how may I help you?” He slightly stuttered. The girl didn’t speak to him but instead she gives him an old book. Lance took it and started to examine it.

“Alice in the Wonderland?” He murmured.

“Why are you giving me—” The girl suddenly disappeared on his sight. Lance looked around his surroundings but no sign of a weird girl. He has no choice but to scan the book.

The story, Alice in the Wonderland is a girl named, Alice Liddell saw a white bunny hopping then she followed it, until she suddenly dropped in the hole and came in the wonderland. The adventure starts when she meets different anthropomorphic animals giving advice how to go back to the real world.

But, so strange to think, the book has a lot of twisted weird stuffs.

From the beginning of the story, Lance narrowed his eyebrows. Confusion covered his aura as he muttered the words in the book.

Once upon a time, a woman died after she gave birth to a baby girl named, Alice Liddell. Her father mourned while carrying his child.

A man walked with a hopeless soul while going back to their home. Suddenly, he saw a white bunny hopping. He followed and fell into the whole and reach into an unfamiliar place.

Wonderland is a great place but, he is an intruder and red queen wanted him to imprisoned for being a trespasser.

Running away with his child and got surprised, he met a woman with her two daughters and saved them.

The man fell in love with a woman and marry her and live happily inside the tower.

Years of hiding in the tower, Alice Liddell aged 6, her father died from a disease. Her step-mother became cruel and never allowed Alice to step outside for the rest of her life.

She treats her as a maid in their family and even though she feels lack of love, she grows stronger and happy to have her only friend, a pet rabbit.

“Is this some kind of sequel of Alice in the Wonderland? Hah! Don’t make me laugh” He commented as he shut the book.

It doesn’t make sense for him. Lance doesn’t believe in pirated books. If he thinks Alice in the Wonderland has a sequel, he doesn’t care since he’s a teenage boy.

Fairy tale books are for kids and wait, does he have to read it?

The book is old and pages almost ripped apart. He let his soft laugh as he threw the book on the bushes and left the school.
